Here is the amazon link:

I've ordered it today as today is 12th month of trying after having AF. Has anyone used it or interested in using it? I like how it works it all out for you as I don't want to spend all that time stressing over learning how to chart myself. You poas when it tells you and insert the stick into the machine and it interprets it for you. Gives you a few high chance days and then the lh surge days. Measures oestrogen and lh. Also can test for pregnancy. You can input when you dtd too and a light and alarm can remind you.

I really like gadgets and technology anyway. If it works I don't care how much it costs. Anyone have any experience with it already? I don't think it's been put long.

Hi ladies quick q for u. I drink a lot of water a regularly get up at least once sometimes twice in the night.

Do if I go to sleep at 23.00 wake at 2.00 to pea, wake at 4.30 to pea and then get up at 7.30 to pea which is the right pea to use?? I'm confused? Also I sometimes only wake once what then. Shock

chundercatsarego · 23/09/2014 09:13

Use the urine that has been 'held' the longest. Using fmu is supposed to get the most concentrated version of your urine so going for the pee which has been held longest applies the same principle.

NowWhatSoWhat · 23/09/2014 20:24

Thanks for all your help in this thread. I had one low (day 6) and then all highs until day 25 (day 20 of testing). I'm hoping for something more helpful next cycle although my cycles are long (36 days) so I guess that might compromise results.

You all seem to have a good handle on how the monitor works.

My next question is, some of you have mentioned saving on sticks after a peak (as the machine is just on autopilot and not really reading).

But is there not something about sticks having to be in the same batch of ten? Can someone explain that part to me please? Like if theoretically I got a peak on day 14 of testing, would the 6 remaining tests be usable the following cycle?
TIA

Whatamuddleduck · 25/09/2014 21:15

I used two different batches this month as I had 4 left from last month. Monitor didn't seem to mind. I guess it might if you muddled two batches together though. I went for sticking the same stick in each day after peak this month. Although I think it may gave got my peal wrong this month so I'm not sure whether doing that confuses it somehow?

chundercatsarego · 27/09/2014 09:52

So I am think the monitor may have missed my peak this cycle (2nd using the monitor)... I've been reading high since cd11, its now CD 24 and still high! Got my peak last month on cd21....all a bit strange. Based on physical symptoms I think maybe I I'd around cd18-19....very difficult to tell though as have no o pains and very little cm. I think maybe I have a very short luteal surge.

We have DTD on days 7,8, 9,10,11,14,15,17,19 and 21 so far... hopefully we are covered Grin

Katybear123 · 27/09/2014 15:21

Hey ladies af arrived this am so on to cycle 5. Cycle 2 using cbfm. Doesn't want test till cd9 owing to my last peak being cd17 I guess. Fingers crossed this cycle brings me more luck with the swimmers as we timed dtd perfectly with the peaks Wink

NowWhatSoWhat · 27/09/2014 18:16

wow Chunder, impressive dtd record! When is AF due? hoping it's your lucky month

chundercatsarego · 27/09/2014 20:10

AF due around 7 Oct I think...pretty irregular tho so who knows...add cd 24 to that list

Foxtrot7459 · 28/09/2014 09:16

Looks like you've got it covered chunder that record is impressive.

Im getting a bit pissed off with my CBFM. So much for identifying the 4/5 most fertile days. Yet again I am on a run of highs, 8 so far. Not got to the time of last months peak yet and very surprised that it is late in my cycle. Day 20 last time.

CD 16 today and so far dtd on 11, 13 & 15,- guess we just keep going on the eod strategy.

Pieandmashed · 29/09/2014 19:24

Promise it works! Only one thing, once you get a bfp, you can only test once for that cycle... Good luck xxx

chundercatsarego · 29/09/2014 20:28

Well I am on cd26 now and the 18th day of testing and my 17th high this month!!!! Unbelievable.... I have no idea what is happening! DH reckons I might be pg but given the absolute bitch of an AF I suffered I just don't think that is possible! So confused and fed up! How is everyone else getting on?

Foxtrot7459 · 29/09/2014 20:52

Hi chunder it's frustrating isn't it! maybe it missed your peak? Day 17 for me and still highs, had high everyday this month, first test at day 9. Hoping I get peak in next couple of days, fingers crossed!

Whatamuddleduck · 29/09/2014 21:02

Pie and mashed -mine lets me test whenever in a cycle so long as it's in the morning testing window. are you sure yours wouldn't test after a bfp?

I'm somewhere in the tww but not sure where. Cbfm thinks I'm about 8 dpo but all symptoms put me at about 10dpo. Hasn't stopped me poas mind, all bfn. I don't know what gets into me, after the disappearing bfp last month I promised myself no more early testing, I've done it twice! Think af is due at the weekend so will try not to test for another week, torture! But you could test chunder!

chundercatsarego · 29/09/2014 21:30

Yes...I could test...AF is not due for over a week though!

chundercatsarego · 30/09/2014 07:19

Well I just got my peak....cd27...WTAF??!

Foxtrot7459 · 30/09/2014 08:35

Another day.... Another High.....

chunder do you trust it? I'm not convinced I do and at £90 + sticks it's not a good place to be in. I'm tempted to get some IC opk or even try to start temping but just don't know if that would stress/worry/confuse me more if it all disagreed with each other - what the hell do you trust??

The reason for getting CBFM was to be able to target dtd. DH and I are/were not frequent dtd ers and so far it has not helped at all.

Anyone want to join me in the queue for a refund?!?

chundercatsarego · 30/09/2014 08:50

I'm not sure....to be honest I do think my cycles are all over the place so it doesn't surprise me that o is not regular, plus I've been REALLY stressed this month. I'm not sure tho, 17 days of high is not really what it's sold on is it??

Pieandmashed · 30/09/2014 16:21

Well, I did a test about 3 days before AF was due, BFN.. Then no sign of AF 3 days after due and got the bfp. Being a crazy person, I tried to take another as confirmation and that came up as an error, which the instructions said was because I'd already done the test for this cycle. All within the AM testing window too.. Just so no one else wastes a bunch of the pg sticks like I did Blush

Have double checked with first response for sanity reasons and several clearblue non digis. Highly recommend those rather than Lloyds Pharmacy own as took 4 of those when the cbfm one wouldn't do a repeat and they all came up bfn, despite saying early detection on box.. Could have done without that Confused but now 100% sure with the better brand name tests

I hope this helps or boosts people, I think the monitor did help me as dh works like a demon and couldn't manage every day or eod during what seemed like quite a long high bit before and after peak days

Katybear123 · 30/09/2014 18:21

Hey ladies congrats pie and mash. How long have u been using the cbfm? And did u dtd eod on high and each peak if u don't mind me asking?

Cycle 2 on cbfm about to start here. Currently cd4, sticks needed from cd9 onwards.

chundercatsarego · 30/09/2014 18:51

Congrats pie

Ladyboluna · 30/09/2014 19:55

Hi all ladies just want to ask some advice - I've had a really strange month this month using the CBFM. Had low readings all month - and then on day 11 and 12 got two days of peak. No high readings prior to it. Can this mean anything?

Hi Ladies,
Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I have been away on holiday and also mad busy at work.
little exciting update for you - I got my bfp today - I think I am in actual shock!
Basically, I really believe that I would have struggled to get this so quickly without the monitor, which I think is amazing. Just in case my story helps anyone on here, it turns out that i ovulate fairly late in my cycle. I have cycles that vary between 28-31 days. I ovulated this month around day 20. The monitor gave me high days on 14-18 and peak days 19 and 20. I have felt fine, the only wierd thing has been that my nipples have been embarassingly on full beam for a week or so, although they have calmed down now. Other than that no other symptoms. About three days ago I noticed that I had a pinky brown discharge when i wiped (sorry if TMI), so I assumed that this was the beginning of AF. However, AF never came. The discharge continued on and off for 2 days and only when wiping. I tested on CD30 and it came out negative. I am now CD33 today and tested this morning and the monitor said I was pregnant! I checked with a Tesco test and also got two pink lines (one was very faint). Therefore, I think that the brown discharge that I had was actually implantation bleeding which was quite late due to my late ovulation. I am not counting my chickens yet and I have bought a posh digital test with weeks counter for me to use later.
Anyway, don't give up hope ladies, the monitor worked for me apparently!
Big baby dust to you all xx

chundercatsarego · 01/10/2014 09:04

Wow! 2 BFPs in 2 days Grin. That's fan news guys....really pleased for you both- hopefully this is a good omen and we'll have a few more in October.

Pieandmashed · 01/10/2014 10:12

Thanks girls Smile early days yet...
Haven't used he cbfm very long at all, since end of June. Quite surprised, had settled in for the long haul.

At first we tried eod during the highs and both peaks, but then it dwindled massively after that as it was starting to feel like a bit of a chore, which was then putting pressure on dh, so I tried to make sure we managed at least one of the peak days and the odd high day, so the odds weren't brilliant at all but had heard that eod is best for higher quality swimmers but it's probably down to what suits you both in the process. I think it's hard for the fellas that it's not instant and then they add pressure on themselves...

Ladyboluna maybe its a month where you haven't ov'd? Apparently there's at least one month where you don't in a year but I can't back that up with where I read that....
