Here is the amazon link:

I've ordered it today as today is 12th month of trying after having AF. Has anyone used it or interested in using it? I like how it works it all out for you as I don't want to spend all that time stressing over learning how to chart myself. You poas when it tells you and insert the stick into the machine and it interprets it for you. Gives you a few high chance days and then the lh surge days. Measures oestrogen and lh. Also can test for pregnancy. You can input when you dtd too and a light and alarm can remind you.

I really like gadgets and technology anyway. If it works I don't care how much it costs. Anyone have any experience with it already? I don't think it's been put long.

birchyboo Good luck for tomorrow fingers x keep us updated

jellyp dtd every other day is good and the chances of covering your ovulation I would say are high.

heyarnold I recommend investing in the CBFM, I find it really useful as it holds all you cycle history so you can look back whereas I used to forget how many lows, highs, etc. I had the previous months.

kellie1234 I haven't come across that problem before, perhaps it would be best for you to call clear blue as it sound like a fault with the machine

birchyboo · 30/01/2015 11:06

So AF came today Sad but I wasn't expecting anything else as OH has been away working g so we only managed to DTD once around my time of ovulation. Try again this month and hopefully the monitor will be able to recognise my peaks Smile

Katew8912 · 30/01/2015 11:47

Thanks MissMonkey

I am now on my 11th day of testing and had a low the 1st day which has been followed by 10 highs but no peak.

I think I will need to count this month as a write off. I've tried looking at the actual sticks to see what they say but I'm just confusing myself now.

I currently have cramps so I am wondering if I am ovulating just now (which going by other months is when I think I should be).

Myself and my OH have been DTD every other day anyway so who knows, fingers crossed I might not even need the machine any more. Should hopefully find out in a few weeks Smile

HopeFull28 · 04/02/2015 13:26

Hi all I had 2 peaks 1 on CD14 and 1 on CD15 so DTD and now waiting the cruel waiting game lol done a test when the monitor asked and it was negative ?? but yesterday I done a cheap home pregnancy test and had a very faint second line... Due af yesterday but not yet appeared. Dnt know what to think just want to know for sure! Lol

jellypi3 · 04/02/2015 13:31

Hopeful try doing another test with a FRER. They are much more sensitive than the mointors preg test.

Good luck.

Oh I didn't get a peak this month, second month using it. I did get a very clear line on a cheap OPK and a temperature rise on my BBT so I think I did ovulate but the monitor didn't pick it up.

HopeFull28 · 04/02/2015 14:02

Jellypi3 going to buy another test to do in morning Hmm
I've read a few comments where the monitor doesn't always pick up the peaks but they have still ovulated.. Good luck

BertieBoo10 · 17/02/2015 20:35

No posted for a little while on here. I've sort of figured my cycle out now and because it was putting such a massive strain on over relationship my other half practically begged me to stop testing. World's worst fiancé award goes to me. We've booked at holiday for June and wr're just taking it as it comes we've both decided if nothing has happened by the time we come back from holiday (we'll be ovulating whilst we are away but we are aware for my birthday so it'll take the emphasis off baby mania) then we will go to the doctors as it will have been 21 months of trying then... I truly hope others are doing better, it seems that everyone is sprouting wonderful baby bumps at the moment.

All the best xx

Hi, new here but just wanted to let you know that we found the Clear Blue Advanced Fertility Monitor really helpful. We bought one in December 14 after 6 months TTC. The first cycle it gave lots of highs but no peaks which was a bit disappointing but then the second cycle we got our peaks and then received our BFP this weekend! Probably wouldn't have caught the peaks if it hadn't been for the meter as they were a lot later in the month than I thought they would be.

StrawberryPav42 · 19/04/2015 20:36

Hi there

New to thread (and site!) excuse getting used to abbreviations! Can I join?
Am on month 2 of using monitor, just had two days peak, then one high, then one low so on the 2ww now. On month 5 of TTC no 1 after coming off of pill so still early days but amazed at how hard it is not to be excited/disappointed/on a big ol rollercoaster of emotions! Any updates on how people have been getting on with monitor recently?

Jackster123 · 21/04/2015 14:38

Hi strawberry, like you I'm also new to this site,I've just purchased the clear blue advance monitor, like you had 2 x peak and today high...so finger crossed for us,hopefully we shall get some more people to join

Jackster123 · 21/04/2015 15:59

A bit about me....been trying to conceive for 3 year, had a missed miscarriage at 16 weeks last January, had all the blood tests day 3 day 21. I ovulate every other month,my cycle is 25/26 so short, also had amh levels checked privately as can't get this done on nhs,I have low overian reserve, this is our last chance before maybe moving on to fertitlity treatment.??

RuthieW84 · 05/05/2015 15:40

Hi, just joining in to see if there are others using the CBFM. I tried it for a month in Jan then other stuff got in the way of ttc. I'm now back to using it again this cycle and have just got peak readings so keeping fingers crossed for next couple of weeks. Good luck to others who are using it

StrawberryPav42 · 05/05/2015 20:49

Hi Ruthie!
BFN for me last month and AF has had her visit, so time to try again this month!
Good luck all

mosattc1 · 08/05/2015 16:41

Hi! Can I join? This is our first cycle ttc (which I've been obsessively dying to do for years!!), my cycles vary from 28-33 days so have just bought the monitor to help clarify o! But can't use it til I start my next cycle. We've agreed other half won't know when I'm ovulating so as not to put pressure on him and to stop me from becoming a sex nazi, which I'm sure would happen. So trying to be "casual" about the whole thing whilst I secretly sit looking on here or ff constantly! I'm 34 so want to give it our best chance! Been really useful reading everyone's positive experiences on here! Good luck everyone!Smile

StrawberryPav42 · 09/05/2015 18:16

Hi Mosattc!
I am 32 so in same boat of wanting to give us as best chance as possible. The monitor is interesting, no BFP for me yet but I'm only in month 3 of using it to early days still :)

mosattc1 · 10/05/2015 22:05

Thanks strawberry! I'm excited to try using it - but secretly (and totally unrealistically) hoping I won't need it! ??. Af due somewhere round 25th so not long!

Stephaniedavies700 · 21/05/2015 15:30

Hi guys,
I brought this machine and started useing it in April, I got married in March and was on medication to stop my periods for my honeymoon and I think that effected the accuracy of the April. However all back to normal this month and after thinking AF came on Tuesday and then stopped I got my first BFP this morning I was also using the Pro Matris ovulation tests as a kind of cheat for the machine as I was getting a positive from them then using a clear blue one for the machine as they are very expensive when the pro Matris ones said I wasn't ovulating I would use a old stick and naturally it would give me a low. (Just a cheaper way around it) Although I did buy the Pro Matris pregnancy tests but they weren't so accurate as I got a BFN yesterday evening although I thought I could see something but it was so faint it could barly be seen. I took a clear blue one this morning and got my BFP! Highly recommend this machine it's very reliable even if you do cheat sticks Wink anyway I hope this is helpful to someone as when even though I wasn't trying long I found it quite stressful when it didn't happen first time round. This will be our second baby we already have a 2 year old boy so exciting times ahead. Good luck to everyone trying :-)) xxx

Stephaniedavies700 · 21/05/2015 15:33

Sorry forgot to add obviously I used a new clear blue stick when the Pro Matris said I was ovulating :-) xx

Hi all I'm returning to this threAd as I have had a very mixed few months with this monitor... I had all highs in the 1st month (normal so I hear) got a peak in the second (woo hoo) then I had all highs 3rd month, peaked on day 28/29 the 4th (wtf!) 2 days before AF arrived???? All highs 5th and 6th months so this month rather than waste sticks as they are very expensive I thought if I didn't peak within my first 10 days I would just reuse them as my temp shows that I usually ovulate between days 14-17 of my cycle... Anyway I got all highs in my first 10 days so on cycle day 20 I picked an already used stick from day 15 of my cycle and low and behold it gave me a peak!!!!!!! Has anyone had this??? Obviously I find this hugely frustrating as I clearly peaked on day 15 but the monitor didn't pick it up and gave me a high! Does anyone have any experience or advice with this??? Am I doing something wrong??? I pee on the stick for 3 seconds each time which is what they recommend but maybe they are getting over saturated??? Any advice would be very helpful as I have now been using the monitor for 7 months and only had proper peak readings twice! Anyway happy BDing to you all Smile xx

scienceteachergeek · 21/07/2015 09:30

Hiya, I've had no experience of such crazy behaviour from my little gadget! I pee on mine for ten seconds so that there is enough wee to get the reading. By only weeing them for three seconds (despite that being the time they suggest) I guess there's a chance the urine won't have reached the lines before the 5mins testing time is up. Don't worry about overdoing it. You can't over saturate them. The urine just needs to reach the testing lines :) good luck!

birchyboo · 21/07/2015 11:06

Hi,

I always make sure that the stick has soaked all the way to the end so the lines are visible before I put it in the monitor anyway... Maybe that's what I'm doing wrong? It's definitely frustrating, I'm on the verge of giving up with monitor Sad

scienceteachergeek · 21/07/2015 12:34

I just put it in for 10seconds and put it straight into the gadget. For us it highlighted my fertility issues. I always had a few days of 'high' but no 'peak'. After three months I went to the doctors, referred to a consultant who agreed with the gadget and said I didn't ovulate. I'm now on clomid.

One sneaky thing they don't tell you is that once the computer senses your oestrogen surge it is programmed then to only test for LH (another hormone). If your body never makes enough LH the gadget will still tell you you're 'high' even when you're not.

Good luck.

birchyboo · 21/07/2015 16:29

Ah I see... I have had all the fertility tests, blood tests confirm ovulation, hsg was all clear, OH has all clear too... I think that's why I am getting frustrated as everything is ok but no BFP for 2 years! I have an appointment with my fertility doc on the 11th August to talk through medication options so I guess we go from there Smile

scienceteachergeek · 21/07/2015 17:09

Good luck with that. I've just had my first month of clomid, 5 months of it left then the next step would be IVF. Not too long to wait until the 11th August. Hope they get your sorted soon.
