Glad to hear that kitkat. When I was pg with DD I reduced my medication, because I thought I should. When I spoke to both GP and specialist they were really good and explained that the risk to baby was low compared to the risk of me being injured because I stopped the tablets. This time I've just carried on with them, I think it makes sense.

Hope you start feeling better soon Flowers

Ducky23 · 30/07/2014 13:28

Great news kitkatGrin

Steph have a nice time!!!

LuluJakey1 · 30/07/2014 15:01

DH has just told me we are going to Paris tomorrow for 4 nights for our wedding anniversary!

I knew he was planning something but wasn't expecting this. He says it is a very romantic hotel. I am so excited. He is such a fantastic DH. Grin

iamdivergent · 30/07/2014 15:12

That's good news kitkat; hope you start to feel better soon Thanks

steph and lulu I am so jealous! Envy Grin

Ducky23 · 30/07/2014 15:50

Omg lulu, not in a million years would my DH think of doing that! Grin

LuluJakey1 · 30/07/2014 16:37

He would not usually do something so romantic. Last year, we were on holiday in France and we just went out for dinner- he had mussels and I refused to have him near me afterwards because the smell is so disgusting Grin

I think it is because of the baby and that we are not going on holiday. But it is a lovely treat. God knows what it has cost him (us)! TBH, I don't care. Just happy to have a romantic break with him in Paris Grin

LuluJakey1 · 30/07/2014 16:40

I have told him mussels are off the menu for him. Says he'll cope with that.

21questions · 30/07/2014 17:10

Hi lena Smile

Hope you can now start feeling better kitkat and looking forward to your baby Thanks

Lulu you are so lucky how romantic I bet you cant wait.

Hope you enjoy yourself Steph.

Siarie · 30/07/2014 17:18

Oh my goodness, you ladies are so hard to keep up with :O. I'm going to have to try harder!

Lulu yay for Paris! I've been to France for two weeks pretty much every year but never been to Paris, can you believe it? Have a lovely romantic time ;)

CD7 today and I'm eagerly waiting to ovulate, then you just know how annoying the TWW is.

Mussels taste nice to me :P I got brave and tried them in Italy a few months ago, slowly working my way up to oysters O.o

Cupcake92 · 30/07/2014 17:29

Kitkat that's great news hope u start feeling urself soon! :)

Have a nice time steph! :

And lulu that's wonder film u have a nice time too!

Me and DS travelled over an hour to see this car today, seemed perfect!! BUT! They forgot to mention the seats inside the car were completely ripped to pieces ! It was awful!!

LuluJakey1 · 30/07/2014 18:08

I think we will have to keep this car for a while now Cupcake.

I am so excited. Have done my packing and have put a 'possible selection' out for DH - he can't take that bloody red flowery shirt and his Bradford City top to Paris. He has gone upstairs to pack.

We fly at 11 am in the morning. SIL and her new girlfriend will come tomorrow night and stay 'til Sunday night to look after the cats and we will be back Monday afternoon.

Cupcake92 · 30/07/2014 19:01

It's impossible for me to keep the car I have atm lol
I have a Toyota aygo! Haha! A 3 door one. The smallest car ever!
There's no way I'd fit 2 car seats and a double pram in the boot as there isn't rele a boot in this car :p

And lulu that sounds so exciting!!! Hope u have a great time!

Siarie · 30/07/2014 19:06

Gosh I haven't even thought about cars yet, think I'll consider that once I get a BFP. I did at one point think a Audi Q7 sport as the family car but having driven the smaller version I'm not sure I want to be that high up! (Current car is much much lower lol).

LuluJakey1 · 30/07/2014 19:45

I'm sure we will Cupcake. Thank you. Might be our last break alone. Babies don't go with romantic holidays do they? I think it's a good time to go 'cos we're a in a bit of a loved up phase up anyway at the moment. Grin Bit of emotional currency and memories for those sleepless nights when the baby arrives and the next time I am horrible and snappy with him and would like him to go to another planet.

We've got a Renault Clio at the moment. It is definitely past its best and there is hardly any space behind the front seats. But I hate things like Quashquais and 4 wheel drives. We know nothing about cars. I would like a dark blue one and DH would like one that is reliable. Grin

Siarie · 30/07/2014 20:03

Lol lulu I love how the only thing you know you want it to be is dark blue Grin

You are right though about the holiday thing, me and DH have a trip to Antigua planned for December as this was our last holiday (hopefully??) before we become three, but need to get my bfp first. That said though we do want to still go on nice holidays, the place we went to on our honeymoon in the Maldives allows children so we decided not to go back there this year and go there as a family.

Antigua is going to be a bit of a baby moon, or if I don't get pregnant by then I'll at least be able to make use of the all inclusive cocktails! I do think you are limited though, we won't be able to go to lots of the couples places I guess :/

iamdivergent · 30/07/2014 20:24

mazda are fab; we have a 2 atm which was plenty big enough for two high back boosters. thinking of a 3 next time for the bigger back seats.

LuluJakey1 · 30/07/2014 20:34

Siarie - that is really the extent of my interest in cars; the colour. It will be me that chooses one though because DH has even less interest.

We never have exotic holidays. Our dream holiday was to drive a camper van down the West coast of America from Canada to San Diego taking in the National Parks and Death Valley, or doing the same in Australia and New Zealand. Suppose that's out now until we retire and the child(ren) have grown up. Usually, we go to France or Ireland or Scotland to cottages.

A nice hotel is a huge treat- and he tells me it is a really nice, romantic hotel, very French and in the Marais. I am really excited.

Cupcake92 · 30/07/2014 21:04

We've been looking at ford focus and also a xsara Picasso.

I feel awful tonight. I'm exhausted, I have horrible lower back pain and I feel so sick I've not even eaten my tea. The thought, sight and smell of it is just awful.
:(

Ducky23 · 30/07/2014 21:12

I'm watching obem Grin

Have re decorated the nursery today Blush I get carried away. I just wanted it done ASAP, as bad as that sounds as it upset me every time I walked in.

Hope you have a lovely time lulu

Cupcake I was like that with dd, did you have ms with ds?

Cupcake92 · 30/07/2014 21:17

That's understandable Ducky.
Did u do it all today?

And no I never had ms with DS at all! It was an easy pregnancy up until early labour lol.
I just feel awful this time :(

LuluJakey1 · 30/07/2014 21:25

I was telling DH about you being pregnant Cupcake and about your little boy being nearly 1. He said he thinks that is a good gap and we should start TTC when this one is 9 months. I think he is slightly ahead of himself Grin

Back ache and sickness are crap. Can you have a lie down with a mug of tea? Hope you feel better soon. You are definitely getting the sickness at night aren't you?

Ducky, DH is watching OBEM, I'm not. I don't want to think about giving birth. It never looks like good pain to me. What colour did you do the nursery?

Cupcake92 · 30/07/2014 21:32

Haha lulu Grin I think I've underestimated myself!!
Right this minute (as I'm also trying to watch obem) I'm having to run upstairs every 10 mins to lie DS back down. As he keeps standing up in his cot shouting "MUM MUM MUM MUM" sigh he learnt that word too soon !!

A cuppa tea in bed would be AMAZING! And I might just do that once DS is asleep. Grin

Ducky23 · 30/07/2014 21:33

We've kept the grey walls and have blue stripey wall paper on the one wall Smile just got to get the curtains, bedding and light shade.

Maybe your having a girl this time cupcake. I had awful awful ms with dd but none at all with this one. Grin

Cupcake92 · 30/07/2014 21:37

That sounds lovely Ducky! :D

aw that'd be nice if we were having a girl. Be nice to have one of each. I do believe boys come with no morning sickness! As I was told they are very lazy in the womb haha!
