Lovely Iam :) there's so many of us now!
But not heard from a lot in quite a while. Hope they are all okay. Thanks

And congrats Tyla!!!!! Woohoo!!! :D

Bearsinmotion · 20/08/2014 17:25

We have disposable liners which catch the solids and wraps that stop leaks (especially overnight!) then the wrap and the main bit go in the nappy bin then wash. It's very easy. Am hoping that dd will be out of them most of the time before dc2 arrives though!

Cupcake92 · 20/08/2014 18:24

Ooo is it just me or had the page suddenly dramatically changed?? :s :s

Tylastar · 20/08/2014 18:38

Thanks Cupcake!

I'm feeling very sick and I'm only 5 + 2! Blarghhhh.

We had the reusable nappy conversation but OH thinks it's gross so probably won't be trying them!

iamdivergent · 20/08/2014 18:48

woo hoo tyla! ! Thanks Grin

Sick and tired of cooking DH dinner. My cooking is absolutely fine. He's the fussiest eater ever and every time I cook he looks at it in disgust and says "can't eat that" and most of the time orders a takeaway.
I'm just sick of it! I wait for him to have dinner at about half 7 when he finishes work. I could easily eat at 5pm with DS. And from now on I'm gonna. He can cook his own dinner.

Cupcake92 · 20/08/2014 19:56

Ooo and congrats cookie!!!!! :D :D

Cupcake92 · 20/08/2014 21:52

Congratulations to new BFPs Smile
Michelle. FX. Try and be positive. It is very early days to see anything.

Cupcake, we bought a Quinny Mood Cabriofix Pack travel system today (bit like buying a car with all the names and models) and the pram centre threw in a foot muff and a drinks holder because we found a better deal online but this one had £250 off the list price anyway. I can not believe what I now know about travel systems but they are all confused in my head! DH loved all the techno detail, I liked the choice of colours. He spent ages talking safety standards with the salesperson. It has a car seat. It arrives on Friday afternoon. God knows where we will put it for 4 months.

Have said to PIL would they like to get the changing chest of drawers instead- we felt the pram thing was too much money for them to pay. I think they are a bit insulted and we probably have not heard the last of it, I suspect they won't give in.

I am exhausted. DH has shaved his beard off- such as it was, just stubble really. He looks much younger without it and I feel about a hundred tonight.

steph1204 · 21/08/2014 01:59

Can't sleep tonight ladies, another joy of pregnancy :(
My husband told his best friend about our pregnancy, and guess what... His answer was: my wife is also pregnant (only 3weeks)!! It's amazing!!
For the stats of the new thread:
TTC # 1, 2nd cycle, BFP 12 june, EDD: 20 February

Bearsinmotion · 21/08/2014 06:26

Yay, new BFPs!

Cupcake92 · 21/08/2014 07:21

I'm so jealous lulu!!!!!! Ooo uve got such an amazing pram! I really wish Quinny did doubles :(

Siarie · 21/08/2014 10:15

Whoops I woke up at 10am today! And I'm now eating left over pizza for breakfast, best morning ever!

I love all the baby shopping, although I'm not buying anything until the second trimester. Feels like jinxing it otherwise.

lillamyy1 · 21/08/2014 10:29

Cupcake, what a horrible thing for your 'd'h to sayAngry you definitely shouldn't cook for him any more!
Congrats to those who've got their BFPs and good luck to everyone still trying Thanks

Stats for new thread: ttc #1 cycle 4 BFP 11/8/14 EDD 18/4/15 Smile

Going to my mum's for the weekend tonight. Can't wait to be looked after by mummy!!! But first we're telling Dp's mum our news. I think it's a bit early but I think DP wants to get it off his chest in the hope of some moral and financial support!
He's really scared about how she'll react but as I keep pointing out we're adults and this was our own adult decision and even if she disapproves, so what?
I think she'll be over the moon though tbh. DP said, "our family isn't the sam as yours - in our family people are married and have their own house before they have kids" (I think that was a slight on my sister Angry )

Cupcake92 · 21/08/2014 11:31

Siarie that sounds like a perfect morning!!! We've had the new sofas delivered today so had to be up early. Typical that DS slept in till half 9 as well!!

Lilla don't worry I'm not cooking for him again. And ur right, so what if people disapprove of ur choice! They should see it as uve been given a blessing as not everyone can have children. We have also said who cares if someone doesn't think we should be having another child already. We are happy that we are having DC2 and feel blessed that it was able to happen again, so anyone who disapproves doesn't need to know us.

Siarie · 21/08/2014 12:58

Oh it was good, it was. Although I've now done everything I needed to today, so I guess I'll just have to spend the rest of the day chilling out and reading books.

Yay for new sofas Cupcake, but boo for your DH being such a lame guy. I honestly don't know how you do it!

Cupcake92 · 21/08/2014 13:49

I dunno how I do it either Siarie!
But same as u I've already done everything I needed to do today :) and DS is down for a nap and DH Is at work so I'm actually sat down with a cup of coffee and a doughnut!!! :O the chair I sit on swivels! It's huge so my feet are up are also :) had to put the heating on as well so I'm nice and snug :)
