Mines been quit a wriggler recently!! Maybe not though. I don't have much to compare it to as I had an anterior placenta with dd and she didn't move much Confused

I hope he keeps on wriggling Smile makes me feel better

LuluJakey1 · 30/07/2014 21:53

Cupcake, maybe I am having a boy- hardly had any MS- just a few days.

Nursery sounds lovely Ducky.

DH just shouted for me to watch last few minutes of OBEM. Did you see the woman giving birth who seemed almost sleepy. She just had gas and air and hardly seemed to have any pain and didn't even seem to be pushing. The baby just sort of slid out. I could cope with that.

Bearsinmotion · 30/07/2014 22:01

lulu, you'll cope with anything! As long as you trust DP and the midwives. I made sure DP knew exactly what I wanted then left all the thinking to him! He's still complaining how hard it was for him!

I have a new car on order - upgrading the Ford Focus for an Estate! Bit worried DP I won't be able to park it!

Ducky23 · 30/07/2014 22:03

I think it completely depends on you, I managed with dd right up until the end with no pain relief, the only reason I had it was just to see what it's like, I coped fairly well. But when I am in pain I tend to hide it well anyway, there was a woman next door to me making a right show of it Blush screaming and whaling! I said to DH I think she must be pushing a mountain of a baby out BlushBlush

Hi cupcake I am new to the thread but a public health doctor so wanted to comment on the cat litter stuff.
Basically cat faeces contains a parasite which causes toxoplasmosis which can cause miscarriage in early pregnancy and stillbirth later on. You can also pass it on to your baby. Read it up on patient.co.uk or similar site.

And re the c section scar, currently you are too early in pregnancy for anything like uterine rupture to happen so do not worry.

Can I join the thread?
I am 35 TTC1 first proper cycle post Mirena.
Was on a period when mirena was removed (it never stopped my periods) so not too sure about that 1.

I am Day 23 and my last cycle lasted 24 days so AF due tomorrow. Probably ovulated on day 13 or day 14 as I had a smiley on day12.

My DH works away most days during the week so this won't be easy!

Hoping this thread brings me luck. Congrats to all you BFP ladies.

LuluJakey1 · 30/07/2014 22:22

Cupcake- I. spoke to the vet who said to wear rubber gloves but not to panic about it. This article explains some of the things about it.

cats.about.com/cs/catmanagement101/a/humanpregnancy.htm

Anyway, will see you all on Monday. Hope everyone has a good few days.

Ducky23 · 30/07/2014 22:25

Hi cp! Good luck!

Lulu have a lovely time and keep DH away from the mussels! (Is that how you spell it? Haha) Grin

LuluJakey1 · 30/07/2014 23:04

Well it's the mussels or me Ducky- he can't have both, so we'll see what is most tempting to him Grin

I am too excited to sleep. He is snoring!

I love France and have not been to Paris for lots of years. I once slept outside the station when I was a student and we were inter- railing round Europe. I can hardly remember it.

The thought of a nice hotel is just lovely. I have never stayed in a really nice hotel, apart from when PIL paid for us to have 2 nights in a country house hotel on our wedding night and the next night. DH used the word 'luxurious' earlier on- but by his standards that could mean it had an ensuite and no cockroaches. Grin

Cupcake92 · 30/07/2014 23:56

Hi cp!! Thank u for that :) I made DH clean the litter tray out today and he managed it!! :Dbut good to hear about csection scar! I always worry about that. Sounds silly but it gets me so down that I had one :(

Lulu u enjoy urself! Speak to u when ur back!!! :D

Also in regards to birth I hope DC2 will just slide out!!

iamdivergent · 31/07/2014 07:28

I have no energy today and a very painful back :(
DS isn't helping as he's causing lots of trouble already today and also trying to lie on the cat -_-
Deep breaths!! Haha!

Bearsinmotion · 31/07/2014 08:39

I have an all day training course today with the senior management team. Am sat closest to the door in case I need to run off and be sick! Confused

macmissy · 31/07/2014 09:38

oh Bears, hope you don't have to run out!

I'm currently sat in the office feeling pretty dreadful and really rosey faced. Have had a bizarre colour come from me when I went for a wee. hoping it's implantation and not the start of a MC. Sad I don't understand my body at times.

did anyone suffer the same or is it just me? x

poppet85 · 31/07/2014 12:13

Cupcake92 · 31/07/2014 16:50

Aw mac :( hope ur okay?
And what do u mean? Like when u wiped? Or just the colour of ur pee?

I'm so hungry right now but i don't dare eat incase I'm sick :( ms has been very bad today :(

Siarie · 31/07/2014 17:01

Last time I was pregnant I had the worst ms, literally did not eat anything for days, was off work and had to carry a bucket with me everywhere. Even in the car, I couldn't do anything I was so weak.

Apparently they actually have pills to help with all that stuff? The only thing I did get was jabbed in the thigh with a anti sickness injection, I don't recommend being jabbed there with a needle it hurts.

Ducky23 · 31/07/2014 17:01

Bet they will be thrilled poppet!!

Mac, what colour? Red/brown/pink? Was it in your wee or when you wiped? How many weeks are you?

poppet85 · 31/07/2014 17:01

Mac hope your ok , do you still have it ?
