Has everyone seen the movie the Santa Claus? I feel like that at the moment, going to work in joggers and a hoody cus it's the only thing I can manage to squeeze on as all my maternity stuff is in the wash! Confused I look like a right frump! Grin

KirstyLeigh87 · 18/08/2014 07:45

Haha Ducky I love that film!! Poor you though feeling like that! Xxx

Me624 · 18/08/2014 07:54

It's just so disheartening Sad I'm normally pretty upbeat about this ttc stuff but I just seem to be surrounded by people at work, on fb etc announcing their pregnancies. Think I will take a little break from the thread for a while ... I'll be back for my next 2ww though!

kismac · 18/08/2014 08:18

Aww Me, I'm sorry. Fingers crossed next month will be your month.

bradders85 · 18/08/2014 08:55

sorry af has arrived me, I've had a bit of pink blood yesterday on CD 23 which I think could be the start of af- but it would make it a shorter cycle than usual! Typical!
welcome to all the newbies too and good luck Grin

Cupcake92 · 18/08/2014 09:15

I know how u feel Me :( don't give up it'll happen!

At work and I can hardly work properly. The smell of breakfast is making want to throw up :( I feel awful.

lillamyy1 · 18/08/2014 10:48

Sorry about AF Me Thanks if you can, try to get completely obsessed with something else for a while - that's what I did and it worked!
And Thanks about work Tori. It must be really difficult being in that environment, but keep your chin up and it will happen for you.
Cupcake, I know exactly how you feel and I'm so sorry to hear you're at work, it must be dreadful. Thanks
I've got to the point where the mere thought of food is making me run to the toilet retching. It's horrible. I called my doc this morning but missed her callback because I was in the loo! Hope she rings back soon and prescribes me something - I don't think I can take much more of this and I'm only 5 or 6 weeks Sad
I emailed my boss and told him to take me off the timetable and that if there's no work for me by the time I feel better then so be it.

Michelle51012 · 18/08/2014 11:43

Sorry about AF me, hopefully next month is your month, I've not been on been really busy, I'm a little worried today sorry for the TMI but I've been quite crampy & today I've noticed I've got a very slightly brown tinged discharge when I wipe, is this something I should be worried about or is it normal does anyone know ?

Cupcake92 · 18/08/2014 12:49

Michelle uve only got to worry if it's bright red or pink blood. That just sounds like old blood possible from the implantation. :)

Michelle51012 · 18/08/2014 14:01

Thanks cupcake, I'm so anxious this time around & the fact I never had anything like this with DS isn't helping even though I know each pregnancy can be totally different

LuluJakey1 · 18/08/2014 15:07

Try not to worry Michelle. I had something like that about 6 weeks ago. I had a scan and the Dr at the hospital said everything was fine. Itlasted a couple of days. I was 14 weeks I think. I had another scan last week and it was still fine.

Michelle51012 · 18/08/2014 15:37

Thanks lulu, I'm a worrier as it is so things like this drive me mad lol, I have docs tomorrow so I'll ask them to do a blood test then get another in a couple days to make sure my levels are still increasing, when are u due ?

LuluJakey1 · 18/08/2014 16:17

4th January. It is our first baby and we are both 35. We have been married for 5 years and had been discussing TTC but it turned out it had already happened!

How many weeks are you?

The explanation I was given at the hospital was there is a hugely increased blood flow and blood supply to the uterus and occasionally small blood vessels under pressure can leak and just re-seal themselves. It was brown blood which he said showed it was not actually flowing/fresh. blood. They checked the placenta and the baby on the scan and said everything was fine.
I was very scared. DH was away and I didn't want to tell him because he was with his dad who has a chronic illness and they had planned the weekend months ago- I knew he would just come home. Anyway, it was fine.

Michelle51012 · 18/08/2014 16:38

Aw how exciting 1st baby, so glad everything was ok for u, I loved my 1st pregnancy everything went smoothly, I would say I'm at most 5 weeks as my cycle has been unpredictable since coming off the pill, I worked out if I was a 28 day cycle I would be 5 weeks today but I could be less if my cycle was longer, I don't think I'm going to say to my partner I don't want to worry him so just need to hope it passes

iamdivergent · 18/08/2014 17:05

Yes sounds like old blood michelle Smile doesn't stop you worrying though.

Cupcake92 · 18/08/2014 17:49

Same here Michelle I'm 100 times more anxious this time round.

I've been feeling nauseous all day :( it just won't budge today! But I guess that's a good sign right? Or if something was wrong I wouldn't be getting worse symptoms?
Honestly tho it's like right at the bottom of my throat n I just want to be sick but it won't come :( euggggggggghhhhhh

Ducky23 · 18/08/2014 20:44

Got a leaflet through the door today reminding me to start weaning my baby Sad was feeling quite positive but it has put a complete downer on things Sad

iamdivergent · 18/08/2014 20:52

Cupcake92 · 18/08/2014 21:07

:( Ducky Thanks Thanks

Ducky23 · 18/08/2014 21:09

Thanks guys. Seems like it's a common thing to be more anxious with no 2? Confused

Cupcake92 · 18/08/2014 21:57

I guess 1st time round it's all new u don't know much. Much 2nd time round ur well aware of all the risks etc

iamdivergent · 18/08/2014 22:02

personally I believe some people are just nervous with pregnancy whereas others aren't bothered by it at all. I felt the longer I spent ttc the more nervy I was something would go wrong Confused
