Ull have to be quick! As I might do a quick swap too ! :p

Ducky23 · 17/08/2014 17:42

Maybe if we put both our dh's at Lulu's she'd be too distracted to notice hers is missing Grin

Cupcake92 · 17/08/2014 17:58

Perfect idea Ducky Grin

poppet85 · 17/08/2014 18:30

Mine does alllll the cooking and food shopping ( online and then checks with me !) , deals with the car & mows the lawn . Hes started to do more general cleaning does the kitchen at least once a week . I do all the laundry/hoovering/ gardening and clean bathroom/bedrooms/lounge I dont think it even registers with him they need cleaning!! He came home from work early and I was doing housework and was shockex up until then he thought faries do it

KirstyLeigh87 · 17/08/2014 19:23

DH and I share the chores out around the house so it's pretty 50/50 when I wash up, he wipes, if he puts washing on, he puts it out, if he strips the bed, I make us a nice new fresh bed.... I love how things work in our house (except for FIFA time... But then again I get to watch all the rom coms on Netflix so it's really a win win lol) Grin xx

KirstyLeigh87 · 17/08/2014 19:24

Lol I meant to say if he puts washing on, I put it out lol!! Grin

steph1204 · 17/08/2014 19:30

Hi Ladies!

My DH does half of the housework, but we always does it together. For example, when I cook, he empty the dishwasher, or when I wash the clothes, he cleans the house, etc. Before moving together, I told him that neither of us liked to do the cleaning, therefore we should do it together, to be fair. Now, we've invented the "cleaning thursday". We clean the house together every thursday
for one hour, and then we order a pizza and eat it with a DVD :) I love thursday now :)

I had all my family today, and we offered them the customized bottles! It was funny, because all my sisters understood the label immediately and started to congratulate us, but my parents only understood it a few minutes later... my mother was really emotional (3 grandchildrens in 3 years, a lot of emotions!!), it was really fun to told them :) Next week, it will be my FIL turns!! ;)

LuluJakey1 · 17/08/2014 19:52

I think I would probably notice Cupcake and Ducky, although if I didn't have my contact lenses in it might take me a while. Grin

Seems DH is pretty run of the mill in comparison with lots of other DHs. I won't tell him because he has spent the time since friends left periodically saying 'You see, you are soooooo lucky to have me'. I have been smiling tolerantly and agreeing with him.

He is making mugs of tea and getting me some of his chocolate brownies he made yesterday! I am not swopping him, 'specially while he is on this baking lark. Grin

LuluJakey1 · 17/08/2014 19:53

That's lovely Steph. Must have been a really happy occasion! Smile

Siarie · 17/08/2014 20:08

When we were both working DH and me shared the cleaning and cooking. But now I don't work and am a house wife I do all the cleaning and cooking, which I think is a great deal yay for not having to wake up every weekday and go to work.

But I'm sure DH will do some food if I get bad MS in the coming weeks, he's been warned and just said jokingly he would get takeaway lol! Although round these parts the takeaways don't have to be unhealthy at all so I'm game for that.

Cupcake92 · 17/08/2014 20:30

Steph how nice! :) sounds lovely!!!

And all of u have such lovely DH's I'm jealous!!

I'm really hungry but I feel so so sick :( evenings ms is the worst. But tonight I feel more worse than usual :(

Me624 · 17/08/2014 20:44

Welcome Kirsty! Fx you get a bfp this month. I'm just a month behind you, ttc #1 on cycle 4.

Well I'm still on cycle 4, just, as AF hasn't turned up yet. I got a bfn on Friday night. Today is cd32. I keep thinking AF has come and nipping to the loo but it's just cm. I never get any symptoms before AF so really no idea whether she's coming or not! Cycles so far since I came off the pill were 36, 32, 30 so I could just be having another long one. I don't want to POAS again as another bfn will just disappoint me!

Cupcake92 · 17/08/2014 20:47

Wait a couple more days and test again Me!! :) good luck and fx on that bfp!!!!

LuluJakey1 · 17/08/2014 20:50

Oh Cupcake, I wish your DH was nicer to you and would grow up a little bit.

Mine would drive you mad mind. He is lovely but he has his moments like they all do. I think I have mentioned the picking skin off his fingers before. I hate it. And the waking me up in the middle of the night to talk to me when he can't sleep. And the untidiness - he puts books everywhere and leaves shoes everywhere. He opens his mouth and puts his foot in it and digs himself big holes and just keeps going - I am left astonished by his lack of subtlety at times. There are times I could cheerfully clatter him one with a frying pan.

But he has his good points as well and I wouldn't swop him - although ask me tomorrow because at the minute he wants us to go camping. I HATE. camping and he is harping on.

KirstyLeigh87 · 17/08/2014 21:20

Me, I agree with cupcake! Test again in a few days! Increased CM is a good sign so hopefully you just tested too early! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you. My CM has decreased to almost nothing and have been having lower back ache and slight cramping so I'm guessing it's more than likely I'm out this cycle Confused xx

We are in bed and the baby has been really moving and kicking. And for the first time DH has felt it. Every time up to now when I have said ' Now, now' and he has rushed over and put his hand on the bump, it has stopped or he just has not been able to feel it.
But tonight I was lying on my back and the baby was really kicking or wriggling or whatever and I said ' He's kicking'. DH put his hand on the bump and then his head and he could hear and feel it. He is over the moon. I am so glad it has happened because I know he has felt left out. He has had a chat to his son through the bump! Told him about the drum he has bought him and the Bradford City strip. Grin There was no response! Perhaps he will be a Toon supporter- DH says over his dead body.

LuluJakey1 · 17/08/2014 22:37

Did you have a tough day Tori?

lillamyy1 · 17/08/2014 22:59

Kirsty, your symptoms do sound positive. I've been especially scatterbrained the past week and yesterday after pouring boiling water into my mug I tried to put the steaming kettle in the tea cupboard!! I also had (and still have) a lot of cm which was one of the things that made me realise I might have been pg. fx!!
My Dp has been really helpful today and looked after me loads (despite laughing at my dry heaves over the toilet as a result of smelling his garlic breath this morning!)
I usually do most of the housework but he does the cooking if he's at home and he does work more hours than me. He's in training to put his dirty clothes in the laundry basket instead of by it at the moment!

I'm sorry today was so tough Tori but you have had the worst day now and I think you are right; it will get easier and normal again. FX Thanks

Ducky23 · 18/08/2014 06:47

Tori that must have been difficult Thanks

Bearsinmotion · 18/08/2014 06:57

Sorry to hear that Tori, but like Lulu says, hopefully that's the worst day over.

DP and I split fairly evenly I think. I do all the cooking otherwise we'd eat beans every day and washing, and look after finances, DP does all the bins, the hoovering, garden and all the yucky stuff. Yesterday he defrosted the fridge and freezer - it was a fun weekend!

Lulu, my DP has a very loud! carrying voice. When I was expecting DD he would talk to the bump and that would make her kick!

Cupcake92 · 18/08/2014 07:20

Lulu that's lovely DH got to feel baby!!! :) bet he was over the moon!

And Tori I'm sorry uve had a bad day :( hugs ur way. As everyone and urself say, it's the worst day over it'll get easier from now. Hope ur okay Thanks

Well I could not keep my eyes open again last night. I'm so tired recently! And this morning DS was so gross haha! He was sat eating his last bit of toast then suddenly threw up! But it all landed just on his plate. Then he carried on eating his toast.... Children are so strange sometimes lol
