Bears can we swap mil?

Mine seems to think that I should be the main bread winner, as well as doing ALL the housework alone... Even when pregnant Blush shesa bitch! Grin

Cupcake92 · 17/08/2014 08:32

What a lovely mil bears!! :D

And not really Ducky as he's asleep in bed and I literally went to bed last night at 8:30pm and fell straight I sleep Grin haha!

KirstyLeigh87 · 17/08/2014 09:10

Hey ladies! I was wondering if I can join? DH and I started TTC in April too and have only just found out about this page! Grin Flowers

This will be our 5th month TTC baby no1 and am currently in the 2WW! Been having few symptoms but could all be put down to AF if and when she decided to turn up! Currently having 32/33 day cycles and feeling a tad fed up today at CD29! Sad xxx

iamdivergent · 17/08/2014 09:39

Hi kirsty of course you can Smile welcome and fx for your bfp Thanks

OP posts:
lillamyy1 · 17/08/2014 09:44

Hi Kirsty! You'll like it here, everyone's so kind and supportive Smile I had similar length cycles, it's very annoying having that little bit longer to wait. Are you charting ov?
Cupcake, you were biiig! Did you have a c sec in the end? I'm only 5'2" and put on weight easily as well so am expecting to turn into a big ball! DP is over 6' so I hope the baby isn't a giant!

lillamyy1 · 17/08/2014 09:53

Ducky your mil does skin awful! I'd like one like yours too Bears!
Just had to leave the bedroom as sleeping DP's breath smells so strongly of garlic that it nearly made me puke! Might throw the rest if his houmous away before he wakes up...

lillamyy1 · 17/08/2014 09:54

Not skin awful hahah! Sound awful.

KirstyLeigh87 · 17/08/2014 10:02

Thanks ladies!!! I'm not charting O with OPK's just yet, although I have a rough idea of when I do O but if this cycle is a write off then ill start from next cycle, don't chart temps either as I feel it's too complicated as I never usually get the same amount of sleep etc! X

Cupcake92 · 17/08/2014 10:18

Hi Kirsty! Good luck with a bfp!!
My cycles range any where from 28-35 days. They got messed up after the implant!

Lilla I know I was so big :( and yes I ended up have an emergency csection as DS was back to back and physically couldn't fit through that way. If he was the right way they said I'd have been able to.

lillamyy1 · 17/08/2014 10:33

I was watching OBEM last night and crying my eyes out! I can't believe what a long wait it is and how much discomfort until you finally get your baby!! I'm already getting impatient!

I really hope I enjoy this pregnancy - so far I've just been so sick and worried!

Any chance if seeing some pics of our more pregnant ladies' current bumps? Ducky? Lulu?

KirstyLeigh87 · 17/08/2014 11:12

I watched OBEM too and cannot wait until it's our turn to have a baby, I don't exactly know what I'm expecting pregnancy to be like although I'm wanting it to be completely amazing but I think I'll end up being like the woman who owns the baby store in what to expect when your expecting... Who else has seen that film? lol xxx Grin

KirstyLeigh87 · 17/08/2014 11:20

Ps I second more bump pictures! Smile

Ducky23 · 17/08/2014 11:24

Hi Kirsty! Fingers crossed for your BFP! When will you be testing?

I would upload a pic but I have no idea how! I'm on the app so not sure if you can? But I am massive Blush I'm the size I was with dd at the end, possibly bigger Blush

What date is your scan cupcake?

Have we got any more scans coming up?

Cupcake92 · 17/08/2014 11:37

I love labour! Haha!!
Can't wait to do it again :)

My scan is on 28th. So not this Thursday but next Thursday.
I have my booking in appt on Wednesday tho!! Yay! :D

I'm starving. Anybody else hungry? I'm always hungry atm :(
Having lamb for dinner! Yum yum!

Ducky23 · 17/08/2014 11:39

I just had an ice cream for breakfast!

Ha Grin

I can't wait either! Will be a great experience! Smile Hopefully it goes smoothly though, have heard some right horror stories about induction!

KirstyLeigh87 · 17/08/2014 12:04

Ducky I'll wait to see if AF shows up and if she's not here by Friday I think I'll test then but doubt I'll be able to wait that long! (AF due weds) also I have no tests in the house so I'll have to wait until I can get some lol!

I'm hungry all the time too, have been for the last week.... Might just be AF on her way though... I'm always snacking! Lol Grin xx

lillamyy1 · 17/08/2014 12:48

I haven't been able to eat anything today, except a bowl of cornflakes at 8 this morning.
I haven't seen what to expect... But I'd like to. I might download it this eve.
DP playing batman again Hmm

iamdivergent · 17/08/2014 13:20

It's a good movie, funny in parts. It's on Netflix if you have it Smile

when I was pg both times I couldn't have anything with milk in, no cereal or tea the whole time it just made me sick. I was so healthy though!

OP posts:
KirstyLeigh87 · 17/08/2014 15:49

I'm a little confused.... Some of the Symptoms I've been having for the past week and a half could be attributed to hormones and my body preparing for AF.... But how do you explain putting my flip flops in the freezer and forgetting how to turn our kitchen tap off when i had only just put it on and I put a plastic container full of left over pasta back in the oven instead of the fridge?!? My forehead feels itchy also.... Just laying in wait for AF but was just wondering if anyone heard alarm bells ringing too at silly things like this? I really want to believe I am but after months of disappointment I can't get my hopes up! Hmm

Ducky23 · 17/08/2014 16:18

Kirsty tbh before I got my BFP I had no symptoms! Someone on here will probably be more help but I just felt like AF was going to come!

KirstyLeigh87 · 17/08/2014 16:46

Thanks Ducky.... I honestly believe that AF is just around the corner (as it always is) and DH and I would have lucked out this cycle... I'd love to be one of those women who 'just know' and not be soooo symptom spotting - it's soooooo hard not to be though - but truth be told... I fear I don't know my body as well as I thought I did.... Oh well... I'll have to wait and see I suppose lol xx

LuluJakey1 · 17/08/2014 16:50

We have had friends here for Sunday lunch. DH did most of the cooking and tidying up. They are old friends of ours and she came in the kitchen while I was loading the dishwasher (dishwasher loading and DH are not a good combination) and commented on how much he does and asked if that is because I am pregnant that he is helping out more.

I said no, that is what he is usually like and she was amazed. Said her DH does hardly anything. I would say DH does more than half the housework, at least half of the cooking and seeing to the cats. He likes to do the shopping but I usually have to go shopping again a few days later because he comes back with what he wants rather than at we need. He uses the washer and irons badly but who cares

If I asked I can't think of anything he would not willingly do except keep books tidy and his side of the bedroom tidy and put his shoes away rather than taking them off in the hall or kitchen and leaving them, and stop piling up papers to shred and then not shredding them for months

She said her DH will occasionally hoover, never goes near the washer or iron or dishwasher. He cooks but 'chefy cooking' and she cleans up after him. Never tidies or cleans kitchen or bathroom. Will shop but is like my DH. Says he sees to the car and the garden and organises things that need doing to the house.

When baby comes he is being FF. DH has already said he wants to do alternate nights feeding.

How much does your DH do? What will he and won't he do?

Ducky23 · 17/08/2014 17:30

LOL!!!

DH does nothing.

Ducky23 · 17/08/2014 17:31
Blush
iamdivergent · 17/08/2014 17:34

Mine does loads considering he works ft too. I'd say it's 50/50 housework and we always go do the food shop together and he always calls before he comes home to check we don't need anything. His downfall is the xbox but he doesn't go out so it doesn't bother me as I have an unhealthy sim 3 addiction so spend ages on the pc when the dds are in bed.
