Sorry, I've probs forgotten loads - but hey, new thread! [tea]

17 weeks and so far it has been no problem to disguise it. In the last week it seems much more noticeable. We told people yesterday so it's not like it's a secret.

But I have never been pregnant before and it feels a bit odd to think of people looking at my bump. I am not skinny naturally and am worrying people will just think I am fatter than usual- I am quite self- conscious with other people.

DH's view is celebrate the bump and wear the dress while I can he would say I looked good in a sack, he has no dress sense

How long is your cycle usually Iam?

Lulu, are you wanting to keep the pregnancy hidden? If you are you probably won't be able to hide it for much longer! There's no bloody hiding mine any more I'm huuugggee!

X post, in my opinion lulu, eff everyone else let them stare!!! I've found out that they will stare, so best get used to it! Ha

Not particularly now we've told people. I just feel a bit self- conscious as if I am emphasising it. DH would like the world to know now.

[whispers] He has got his outfit out and gone in the shower.- hideous red flowered shirt and olive green cotton trousers. I have changed the shirt for a navy blue one and trousers for fitted navy blue chinos and got his smart silvery grey linen jacket out. We'll see what he says. please don't let him insist on his choice

averaging 28 days but last month I got to cd33! so trying not to think about it secretly wondering if I ov late!

He just laughed when he saw it and agreed it was a more stylish choice.

I have had my hair cut really short as well- about 4 inches off it. My friend comes round and cuts it and she was a bit shocked when I showed her the photo of the style because it was so short.

But I love it. It feels really cool in this heat and I feel younger with it like this. So easy to look after too.

Have attached photo- not of me but of the one I showed my friend that I wanted it cut like. Wish I looked like this but my hair does. DH thinks it is great.

It feels so nice getting dressed up together for a night out. DH looks fab! If I didn't know him I would want him!

He says he is going to 'throw a few shapes' on the dancefloor. Oh God!

Tomorrow there's a family party for DH's bday. I got told by his gran today that there will be "lots of champagne, Buck's Fizz, cider and wine to drink" as it's a big celebration.
We aren't telling anyone till 12 weeks scan.
I'm so nervous at how I'm gonna avoid the alcohol :s
I know they will ask questions. And also we are going to a wedding blessing in a few weeks and I've got to ask to change my starter as I had pâté! I can't eat that now I'm pregnant! They are going to guess aren't they?

Could you say a long course of anti biotics? Could DH start telling people that your unwell to prepare them? Can you drive there? Hahahaha it's all so obvious!

Ducky my hairs been at that stage for about 5 years now I have had hair extensions before, had them weaved in and I LOVED them!!!! Wish if kept them tbh, would be perfect for labour and birth as never had to do anything at all to them only brush my hair :p

Yeah Iam, I should be driving anyway, and also I bought I'd use the excuse of "DS is teething so will be up in the night so it's best I don't drink"

My mom had some weaved in too and loved them but they were a pain to get out!

I might look into them though! I have just been putting it in a pony tail all the time and probably look like a bit of a tramp!!!

Great time at wedding do. Everyone was very happy for us.Lots of friends there. Sat outside in the hotel grounds and chatted to friends.

We danced quite a bit which was good fun, and had a smooch at the end.

DH has had 4 drinks and he has that sexy, determined look about him. I love it when he is like this. I just know there is going to be some of his very persuasive, lingering kissing.

Didn't throw up last night! It seems to be after my evening meal I start to feel awfully nauseous, but I don't mind so happy to actually be pg :) can't believe it still!

af is officially here; did my first day of the cb testing too not too hard and I managed to do it all right which is great considering it was 6 am!

Iam Well at the party, yes but after.........before I went to bed I went to try to get the cats in because it had started to rain heavily. When I went upstairs, DH's clothes were all over the floor and he was asleep and snoring. So much for his sexy, determined look.

I hate snoring, hate it. I prodded him and he turned over and started again. I slept in the spare room.

He has just woken up and is making bacon sandwiches for himself and singing happily. In a very good mood. 'Nothing like a good sleep. You were up early Lu'. Has not even realised I slept in the spare room.

I did wear my dress and I'm glad I did- certainly won't be able to wear it soon.

I am Sorry AF arrived. Next month FX.
