Me624- oh you are just a young thing as well! I am 35. and this is my first.

For the last couple of days I have had a funny feeling- like bubbles or very slight tapping - I think it might be the baby but I don't know how it feels when you first feel it move. Does that sound right to anyone?

On 21 migraines are awful!! Bet that was horrible for u :(

When I felt DS it was like popping bubbles in my belly it was so weird!

Yes, that is what it feels like Cupcake, popping bubbles. I thought it might be it but wasn't sure. That's really exciting.

DH has started his baking today after The Great British Bake Off last night. He made fruit scones and they were nice I have to admit. Tomorrow morning it is fruit scones and a Victoria sandwich cake with cream and strawberries. He is making afternoon tea for his mum and dad who are coming up for the weekend. He is very smug and pleased with himself. Said 'There's not much to this baking really. It is just following a recipe' . unbearable

21 I most definitely haven't given up alcohol while ttc! Just on my way home from after work cocktails!

Cocktails sounds good me. I had my large glass of red it went down well.

Thats so sweet lulu I always thought the first movements felt a bit like wind haha.

Apparently for your 2nd baby u don't see the midwife as often as u did with ur first?
Or would I still see her often if I'm consultant led?
I still don't understand any of this haha

As far as I was aware cupcake you have the set appts again like first time, then if your 'high risk' they squeeze more in (unless your like me and they forget how much they fucked up and take your high risk away)

That's good because I'd worry if I hardly saw my midwife. I imagine id be high risk because of csection and my early labour. If I'm not then on going to be very worried :s

Ducky they should not be taking ur high risk away! How stupid can they be?!! Did they give a reason to why they did that?

It's same amount of appts unless you are deemed higher risk

21 I don't drink so didn't need to stop when ttc. I come from a rather long line of alcoholics and that's not a road I want to go down.

Bad I know but in have like 4 Internet cheapie tests left so I did one just to see what happens and see if I still am pregnant (I know I'm crazy!!)
But line came up before the control line! That's mad! Never seen that before!! But shows my hcg levels are infact rising which is good! Phew!!

I remember reading jools olivers autobiography - she had her little 3mth old baby and found a spare test so she used it; pg!

i used to test when u was already pg too stopped after my 12wk scan

I was thinking about it last night - it's so going to look like I starter trying after my friends told me if they asked I would say we were ttc but people seem to think that's it after 2 and doesn't occur that people would want 3 so it's quite good as we get the privacy this time. Was hard when ttc dd2 as people were always asking!

It's awkward the weeks before the scan as uve no idea what's going on In there and if alls okay so testing sort of helps ease the mind a bit haha :p

Iam, I know what u mean! My mom was asking me when's baby 2 going to be on the list? Then when I mentioned we'd rele like to try she kept constantly asking "are u pregnant?"
My friend has 2 DC's and will be trying for number 3 next year. Lots of people want lots of children! :p

My mum is staying with us for the weekend, she doesn't know yet as we were waiting for the scan (next Thursday!). Am trying to hold my massive tummy in all the time!

Saw the high risk clinic yesterday, consultant says I can try for a water birth this time! Am not sure about that, quite enjoyed the no-pain pre-induction epidural last time! Spontaneous labour sounds too scary!

Oo Bears I'd love a water birth!! But epidural like u say is very nice and pain free haha :p

The idea of any kind of birth slightly terrifies me, when it's my time I just want as many drugs as possible!

I've been doing well so far on the 2ww but I'm quite bored at work today which doesn't help, as it means I'm spending loads of time on mn and thinking about it all lots! One more week to go ...

Me I can't wait for birth haha I was terrified with DS but with DC2 I can't wait :) it's amazing and yes it's painful but there's so much available to help with that pain.
Gas and air is amazing!! That'll make u happy right away haha

Me, I thought that with dd, in the end didn't have any pain relief until the very end

Cupcake I don't know it's like they said all that stuff last time to make sure I didn't take any action agains them (I could have done) and now they think I forgt about what happened but I bloody haven't! My midwife is going to sort it apparently and increase the scans from what I should have had if I had what they promised me in the first place

All NHS do is worry about how much things will cost them now. They should NEVER cut back on treatment and scans etc.

I can't wait for my scan but I've got a whole month to wait :( eugh so long!!!

Im assuming you will be high risk too cupcake, I would hope so!

I'm so excited to give birth trying to hold off on my hospital bag haha il so tempted to start but don't want the stuff to go smelly!

I should hope so Ducky as I'm already terrified I'll go into early labour again! I really don't want that :(
