And the list keeps growing!

Still have a toiletries bag and a couple of things ready (nappies/wipes/Muslins/ changing mat) from dd

Haha, well I didn't have any hospital bag with me last time cus it all happened a bit unexpectedly and I refused to beleive I was in labor and the hospital gave me some pads and I swear they were bigger than the pillows

PIL are here. MIL very impressed with Goldenball's DH's afternoon tea effort. Her only point for improvement was the sandwiches were like doorstops and could have been more delicate. He is very pleased with himself. The cake was amazing.

We have told them we are having Christmas alone at home this year. 10 days before EDD and we just want a quiet time. They thought it was sensible. MIL said she wouldn't be able to be bothered with travelling and fuss by that stage. They will drive up for the day on 23rd but not stay- drop pressies off etc, bring Grandmas. I am happy with that.

Haha lulu thy were on my list I must have just skipped over them!

Got to get a nighty too just incase it ends in c section apparently you can't wear bottoms because of the catheter

Ahh do you usually go to them for x mas lulu? Is it far?

Hopefully (fingers crossed) il be with my little man on x mas day!

Starting to become v anxious again though, he tends to go very quiet on Fridays and it panics me every time

Anyone who hasn't done it before - make sure what you give birth in is old and don't do a me and wear your lovely new breastfeeding nightie (cream) as baby ill be dropped on you to hold once it's out! only had it on 2hrs

Yes maternity pants are a must!!! And make sure they are big ones so that the elastic doesnt hurt ur belly! (It did mine from my stitches and staples from csection )

And Ducky yeah u can't wear trousers when the catheter is in plus u can't feel ur legs for a good 12 hours haha.
For me the catheter was fine I thought itd hurt to come out etc but never hurt one bit :)
How exciting that ur little man could be here with u on Xmas day!! What an amazing present :)

Yes Ducky we usually end up there at some point on Boxing Day. My mum was very frail for the last few years so we have spent the day itself with her- I was an only child- but this will be the first Christmas since she died.

They live in West Yorkshire about 130 miles from us so it's a good drive- pretty village though outside of Bradford.

This will be our first Christmas alone - and probably our last for a long time. Just going to have a nice relaxing day.

Cupcake, DH has now bookmarked lots of baking sites on his iPad to research his next effort. This is what drives me mad. I bake and it's just baking. He bakes and it becomes a research project and he has to know everything about it and everything has to be analysed and admired. And I know for a fact he'll get sick of it once TGBBO is over. It is a fad, whereas I bake regularly and make no fuss about it. I might have another bit of the fresh cream Victoria sandwich for my supper.

Is DH being nice today Cupcake?

Ooo lulu fresh cream Victoria sandwich! I'm so so very jealous! I love baking too but as u say it's just an every day thing. I bake a lot, I love making cakes and brownies :)

DH I dunno tbh. I keep taking about the baby and baby related stuff n all he says is , "I don't really want to think or talk about it at the minute" he says he'll talk about the baby after the scan. :/

I'm taking my kindle - there was a lot of hanging around last time!

Cupcake I am sitting in bed with a large piece of cream cake and a mug of tea. What is the betting I have heartburn tonight? DH is watching me in disgust I think.

PIL have gone to bed. We are talking very quietly as they are in the room next door. We are going shopping in Morpeth in Alnwick in the morning which they will enjoy.

DH keeps putting his hand on my bump when I feel the bubbly feelings but he can't feel it yet.

I do have awful wind again.

Your DH might be being cautious until the scan- it feels like tempting fate sometimes I think talking about it.

Lulu I think in going to have to bake a cream cake today. I've been craving a slice since u mentioned it!
And that's true my DH could just be being cautious, I just really like talking about the baby as it excites me.

It's Wednesday lulu! Can't believe he's going to be 1! His first ever birthday :') he's got his birthday party tomorrow tho.

Uh oh Ducky :/ he's a week late. What's up with him?

Well we decided that we would get a skip and have a good clear out of the house cus there's crap every where and it's gross, because of te skip there's only room for one of us to park so 'd' h has said I have to park elsewhere so I have to walk down the street to my car (not a massive deal but it's hot and I'm pg and quite big for 20 weeks and my feet keep swelling).

Now he's refusing to chuck anything else. He's just watched me climb up on te windowsill trying to put new curtains up and it was v difficult, instead of helping he's sitting there laughing at me.

I've spent the whole morning tidying, he dragged himself out of bed at 11 and just made a mess.

Now there's an old sofa we need chucking out and I can't tidy tht room until it's gone and he's refusing to do it cus he's 'watching tv' so I don't know what to do

sorry AF got you 21. cd 15 for me today and I have already ov'd on cd 12 (earlier than usual) which shocked me but I had the cramps to match the solid smilie on the ov stick! Having a day of cleaning today (the joys!) currently distracting myself from mopping the floor! :-) hope everyone is well and your son has a fab first birthday cupcake. x
