Brixton - you may ovulate early, and like others have said you may get a few days of flashing before a fixed.

I'm on CD 35 today cycles used to be 41 days pre mmc. I'm not getting my hopes up about a BFP so I won't be disappointed if it's a BFN. Who am I kidding I will be gutted if it's a BFN!

sorry to hear about af Treacle.

Brixton before this cycle I always ovulated on around day 9 - 10 of my cycle, with average of 27 day cycles. This cycle I was day 14 but it's the first time it ever happened, I still got a flashing smiley on day 8 (I think, can't remember exactly) but it carried on for 6 days before I got a solid smiley.

Apparently with the CB digi OPK's, they're programmed to keep showing flashing smileys after the first one until you get a solid smiley. So you can get a surge, your levels can go back to normal (so you'd expect a blank circle) but because the OPK remembers your flashing smiley, you keep getting them until you get your peak day.

Oh no Treacle really thought you'd get a BFP! Definitely go with 12dpo and definitely treat yourself to a tonight and some

What a rollercoaster - feel like I've done a loop the loop and am now feeling really positive gave in and POAS last night - BFN (think I am 9-11dpo). Temp is still high but it was this day last cycle and dropped the following day....

Had a v odd dream last night - was having my acupuncture and the lady (who wasn't my usual lady) suddenly started prodding my tummy and said that I was 18 weeks pregnant even though my tummy was flat as a pancake (think I watch too much of that American show 'I didn't know I was pregnant'). My DH had read me the Euro million results before we went to sleep and 18 was the only number I had so maybe that's where it comes from....

Someone mentioned about dtd every day causes decreased chances of conception. I understand that current research now says that this is not true. On recent papers couples who dtd daily are more likely to concieve. Plus it means more fun having lots of dtd-ing.
I can't find the actual link to the paper, but here's a link to a bit more about it. Although I am clearly no expert.

Foscar, I think it's just going to be one of those things where there isn't a clear answer yet. I've just done some looking online and sex daily can increase the chances but only if you have a normal sperm count. It decreases the sperm count if you say for example DTD for two weeks in a row. If your partner has lower than normal then it will decrease it under the normal range.

Then of course their are other articles stating DTD every other day etc.

But I mean who knows if half the articles online are actually right? In years to come they'll have another method :)

I admire those of you who manage to DTD everyday, DH and I tend to only manage two days in a row. He says that if we do it too often 'not much comes out' so on the whole we try and go with every other day or so.

saire I completely agree. We just dtd when we felt like it and were very very fortunate. I know that. And we were on honeymoon so hadn't got anything else to do!! Just wouldn't want people to hold out when the underlying message is to dtd when you feel like it and most importantly enjoy it.

english i couldnt get into docs as i didnt realise how bad it was untill i got up to go to work yest eve. but its feeling better better today, more of just a dull ache now with occasional twinge.
cat must have known i wasnt feeling good last night as he stayed curled up next to my stomach under the cover all night almost as if he was trying to stop dh from touching my stomach

off to have more torture soon as dh wants to go see his workmate whos just had a dd. last week was my mate with her ds..... I am so getting pissed this sat!

Dh has been very positive about dtd this month, he was really annoying last month saying I only wanted to dtd as I wanted to get pregnant which is true but doesn't mean I don't want to either. I've told him we're aiming for eod from Sunday and he said he'd be ready :)

I have been 2-4 days late every month (except one freak 20 day cycle month) since I started ttc Ip would be due on today normally - it is such a pain! Hope the afternoon passes nice and quickly for you, then treat yourself to some and
