I gave in this morning and took some steroids. The consultant gave me some to help deal with flare ups while ttc, they are little pills of miracles. I had a few more hours sleep and feel much better now, shame the side effects are nasty.We've got someone else coming to look at our house on Friday so I've had to get through a stack of ironing in prep.

I've attached a pic. Just done an ovulation stick. I think it's almost as dark as the control line. Initially it wasn't but after 5 mins it was almost the same. What do others think? I've put pics of both first and after 5 mins. It's CD13 here. I think it's safe to assume this is going to be a standard 28 day cycle with ovulation on cd14. So looks like another late night here! I'm shattered! Might have a nap!!

I'm going to have a read back over today's posts, but just a quick one in the meantime. Over the past few days my OPKs have been quite light but getting darker, but today there's no line at all, I tried this morning and just now and there's no line....does this mean my body has decided not to ovulate? I didn't think I'd get a totally dark line until Friday at the earliest, possibly not until Tuesday next week but this has thrown me with it getting darker and then disappearing....any thoughts?

cinnamon - wrt ejaculation, I go by DH's juddering if that makes sense Sometimes it goes on and on and sometimes, not a lot (when we have DTD lots and lots!) Checking the amount is really hard as I am never sure if it is conceive plus, EWCM, left over gizz or new gizz

Detective looks pret good to me-get DH!!!!! Do keep testing though to A. check you don't get another surge and B. check the second line doesn't get darker that the first line, which will pinpoint you are at the peak of your surge and C. To check it goes to nothing so you can be sure the surge is over. I'd test about 3/4 more days.

More brown cm for me at 7dpo, but only just now when I went to the toilet. Only time will tell!!

I think with regards to DTD just go with whatever makes you both happy - even though I'm not even remotely in fertile period we've DTD everyday for the last 8 days just for fun, but we'll see what happens. Guess ideally we'll keep doing it EOD at the minimum and just see what happens. Foscar's story makes me think it's ok to DTD often if that's what works for you, but I had a friend a few years ago who DTD once in about 4 months (her and her ex were about to break up) and she got upduffed. And lots of people DTD once or twice in fertile period and get a BFP! No rhyme or reason... Sadly

Aww, thanks Brixton but I'm just not feeling lucky. Surprisingly, don't feel as distraught as I have been in other cycles. The longer it goes on, the more resigned to bfn I get. This brown cm so early and other twinges doesn't feel normal and I had higher temps last cycle. Still, it's nice being on the journey!!

I have tried DTD every other day, & doing it every day for 3days when I got a +opk skipping one day, then one last try just in caseâ?¦I didn't get a BFP. This month we tried doing every day from CD 12-21! It just worked out that way reallyâ?¦we will have to wait & see if that worked My acupuncturist told me, the more DTD the better x Who knows x
