I'm glad I'm not the only one! How do you feel about the big age gap Cpt? It's been pretty good here, but there are a few downsides! The room sharing being one. And finding things suitable for all to do being the other!

However being able to leave DS1 in charge while I go for a wee and poo is invaluable!

Ladies, I may need some chart advice as Christ on a Bike, my temp has shot up to 37.22 and still no AF!!! I slept with all windows on and no covers - I can't be that hot due to the weather, can I??!! Really don't understand my chart now

kitty have you tested? You wouldn't be the first not to get a bfp till 15/16/17dpo....I can take a look at your chart too

Kitty it's either a random spike or positive news so I'd test. As it mentions in that link I posted , only 65% of positives are reported at 14DPO!

Well I'm totally kicking myself for being so bloody stupid as I could resist and have tested this morning at 8DPO and got a BFN. I've convinced myself that this isn't my month either and so am feeling quite shit about it ( even though I have a week - yes a whole week until AF is due )

I think this TTC malarkey drives even the most sane women stark raving mad!!! Someone give me a virtual slap!

Rubbish blondie276, we should have a stick amnesty! I need to hide mine for this month as I did actually quite get my hopes up last month even though it was bfn. Think I'll get dh to take them to work and put them in his safe until 15dpo!!

All ov pains have gone this morning so assuming yesterday was the day and no where near as much ewcm today either. Guess that puts me 1dpo!

Wow kitty that sounds really positive to me, I was just reading about a lady who had a big temp spike over 37 like yours and she tested and got BFP so fingers crossed, think its a really good sign!

Just to throw some logic out there, your chart looks good but just remember not all charts like that end with a BFP. However as long as your temps stay up and AF doesn't show it's all positive xx

I'm so pleased today my temp went from 36.2 to 36.6 which means I did finally ovulate! Yay for body working as it should, now just have to cross my fingers that some swimmers made it up there :)

blondie I did that last cycle! I knew for certain it wasn't our month. I didn't symptom spot but at 10dpo I suddenly got the urge to poas. All I had was a frer so I wasted it knowing I'd get a bfn, felt so silly. AF arrived 4 days early the next day. I've no hpts in the house this cycle. I might buy one while we are on holiday.

detective there's only 3yr 6m between ds1 & ds2. There will be at least 16yrs between ds1 and dc3 when s/he arrives. I think the age gap will be too big for it to be an issue. We did try ttc when ds2 was 3 and I had a mc which triggered health issues which have taken this long to control then had to convince dh it wasn't too late,Dc3 has been a long time coming.

kitty I don't know about charts but squeeeee fx firmly crossed for you. When will you test again?

Kitty that sounds like a very good sign! A lot of people don't show positive until days after af is due. Keeping everything crossed!

Also, in case anyone wants to save money on POAS, Taking Charge of your Fertility says if you get pattern of high temps for 18 days po you are pretty much definitely pregnant.

Blondie sorry, that's really annoying although at 8dpo it's almost impossible you'd get a BFP - more likely to get one from 11-17dpo. So it's definitely possible you'll still get a BFP!

I think I might pledge not to POAS this month until a day after af due this month, to save me days of miserable mornings. Anyone want to join my insane pledge?

I think I need to Brixton as it drives you insane doesn't it. Right that's it- I've made a promise to you all to not test until AF is due which for me is Wednesday.

I'm cd33 today. My apps say I'm either 1/2 days late or due on today..... Haven't Poas today yet. Not sure if I can face another bfn.... Let's see if the witch turns up today as this is the 2nd time I've had a 33 day cycle.... Might Poas again tomoro if still no af

I thought I was doing so well this month, thinking how laid back I was going to be this time, no symptom spotting, just see what happens....and then there were symptoms....and now I'm spending a lot of time arguing in my head about when I can POAS. So yes, pledging not to do in until AF is due might help - for me it's also Wednesday.

I've just remembered I did symptom spot last cycle, I had a sickness bug & instantly thought ooooo morning sickness.

AF is due on the 28th July but ov was later this cycle so expecting to be late. We go on holiday on the 2nd August, maybe I'll test on the 1st. Anyway I will pledge not to test until after AF expected.

Hurrah Cpt - I hope this month will be a lot saner for us all!

brixton and janey I will join your pledge. I swore after last month I wouldn't poas until AF is late as seeing bfns is so depressing and I'd rather cling to a little hope for as long as possible.

It is so so hot in central London today. The tube was almost unbearable!!

I don't think I've got much a shot, I don't have the same positivity as I had last month. My DH refused to DTD yesterday as he was exhausted, although to be honest I was so tired I slept for 2 hours yesterday afternoon and then 12 hours last night to make up for working all through the night before. And I'm still tired today! I'm on 2dpo now and AF is due a week on Saturday, so at 11dpo. Another shortish LP for me, although I ovulated 2 days earlier than last month, so maybe the Agnus Castus worked!

So Cinnamon we're pretty close to being DPO buddies this month....I'm going to try my best not to POAS until my AF is due, even though 11dpo is still pretty early. Stick amnesty is now in place! And I'm going to try not to symptom spot this month, since last month I had every single symptom possible even if it was probably all made up in my head
