so sorry for the bfn but your not out yet! welcome to all the new posters. hope your journeys are short Smile
well cd31 for me. got very moody and slightly sore nipples last night but back to normal today and no sign of af yet but got another bfn this morn Sad

hope everyones ok today?

Cpt1sock · 16/07/2014 16:30

Went ahead with reflexology, bloody lovely, then had 30min reiki after. I feel grounded and relaxed, if nothing else I will have a great nights sleep. Did say I'd name baby after reflexologist, do you think that's too much? Haha

Is AF late karama ? You're not out yet!

amy have you got another ic hpt to try?

I'm desperate to see some more BFPs on this bus.

TheDetective · 16/07/2014 16:41

7DPO here and biting my nails with the whole waiting game. The thought of waiting a whole week potentially is killing me!!

Going to test fri in the hope I might get something... Anything to give me hope!

Which test is the most sensitive again? Is it the first response? I've forgotten everything from last time!

I've got mega thick crumbly discharge today. Hmm

Cpt1sock · 16/07/2014 17:01

First response early result is the most sensitive, there is another fr test now so make sure you pick the right one up.

ChandlersFarang · 16/07/2014 17:02

Good luck waiting, Detective!! I'm guessing from your user name that you'll be a symptom spotter extraordinaire... GrinWink

Kitty me old mucker... I'm still holding out a wee candle of hope for you until AF arrives. These unpredictable cycles are not fun at all are they! Am almost glad I've had this PCOS diagnosis so that I've for someone else to monitor mine for me!! Lol. Although today DH's sample results came back saying he has low mobility sperm Hmm so it's looking pretty bleak for us right now. He'll be retested in a few weeks so remaining positive!! As you know, Thailand's the place to be if we need to upgrade to IUI or IVF... whatever happens, a baby WILL BE MINE. No shadow of a doubt!! Smile

MaMaPo - great stuff, I'm halfway round the world to you then!! We went to Oz in April and absolutely loved it (having been a bit homesick here, made us realise it wasn't so much missing London, more just not massively digging Bangkok!). Whereabouts are you?

Cpt1 - I just logged in on a browser to see your article bless you! I saved the image but the text is too blurry to be able to read. Regardless, I love the theory. I literally did not think about TTC once the entire 5 days I was at Glastonbury, was absolutely amazing - except making a minor note about whether it would have been possible pregnant (answer: yes, but in a very different format!). Treacle i'd recommend going to the festival you're considering, just as a test of being in a totally happy place when you try! Tent-based DTD though... Hmm... Well, actually, I have done it, and was a total charm!!! ShockWinkGrin

BrixtonBunny · 16/07/2014 17:40

Chandlers have your read Taking Charge of your Fertility? There is a section on timing DTD to maximise chance of conceiving if your OH has low mobility sperm. Maybe google it, otherwise message me your email and I'll make some billet point notes for you xx

BrixtonBunny · 16/07/2014 17:41

*bullet point x

Sunshinesaz86 · 16/07/2014 17:49

Hi blonde, bad news on so many BFN's!! Good luck to everyone still in with a shot!!

I'm probably out this month. First month off coming off pill, Not charting and I was ill half way thru month so not much DTD. Due AF today but no sign at all!! So I think I'll have to wait until my body sorts itself out before really trying! And we go away at the end of next month so plenty of time for DTD then!!

How long did it take everyone else for AF's to regulate after stopping contreception! I know it's different for everyone but would be great to know!!

Blondie276 · 16/07/2014 17:59

Sunshine with my DD I got my first period bang on 28 days so was really lucky. I then fell first month of trying.
However, I had her in dec and got my AF back in March. Although they have been regular (31,29,28 days) I don think I've been ovulating. Having used opk and temps this month I think this is the first month I have.
Hormones sometimes take a while to regulate but you are the most fertile when coming off contraception so you could be lucky! Fingers crossed for you :)

BrixtonBunny · 16/07/2014 18:00

Sunshine have you POAS today to make sure you're not pg? No sign of af is good sign, surely?

I'm not sure about coming off pill - I've heard different things. I had mirena coil and since removing my cycles seem roughly the same (this is only cycle 2 though and cycle 1 we weren't trying, just not not trying!). Good luck x

KittyVonCatsington · 16/07/2014 18:12

Welcome to the new passengers!!!

Still No AF!!! Tried jumping up and down. Nothing.

I really have no idea about my body now. This cycle has been one long mind f@-k that I just think something is wrong biology wise. Might bite the bullet and go to a private hospital for some initial tests a la Chandlers seeing as I've only been trying 9 cycles so can't on the NHS yet.

Have googled if LPs can be longer than 14 days. Can't find a definitive answer. Brixton -can I be a pain and ask if there is something in Taking Charge of Your Fertility?! Grin how are you today? Was thinking about you on the way home from work. (((hugs)))

Sunshinesaz86 · 16/07/2014 18:31

Thanks Brixton and blondie, I know it's really different for everyone, I suppose I should have waited for my first proper AF after pill! I don't know if there's much point of POAS yet as we didn't get much of DTD in and I don't feel any different at all, I usually get sensitive boo a half way thru month but not had that either so I think my bodies playing catch up! I waited 5 months last yr for AF to come back after depo!!

Fingers crossed for another quick conception for u Brixton and glad your hormones seem to be regulating blondie!

I hope u get some news soon kitty seems like your in limbo, FX AF doesn't arrive for u and it's for a good reason!! X x

BrixtonBunny · 16/07/2014 18:33

Ooh Kitty of course - I will consult the oracle! It says that luetal phase is almost always 12-16 days (and the woman who writes it is an expert).

I'm ok, my sister turned up to her appointment only to be told she couldn't had the gas and air she'd been promised (to relax her as she's phobic of needles and she's going under general) so she will have to have the procedure done at the hospital on Friday. So still in limbo a bit, she just wants it over and done with! My poor mum is knackered, she's been sleeping in her bed the last few days and has taken the week off work to support her. I'm ok, just wish I could make it easier for her.

Sending hugs xxx

BrixtonBunny · 16/07/2014 18:35

Sunshine I'm TTC #1 - I was talking about my cycles (but I do hope it's a quick process too!) x

BrixtonBunny · 16/07/2014 18:36

Ps Kitty - so touched you were thinking of me Thanks xxx

Sunshinesaz86 · 16/07/2014 18:44

Oh sorry Brixton! I'm new to all this and reading off phone so trying to keep track (not doing a very good job it seems), I saw your post about your sister too, it's awful she's going thru such a difficult time! It's good she's got support! X x

sparkle17 · 16/07/2014 18:57

Evening ladies

I hope you get a good line on a frer tomorrowAmy

Reflexology sounds fab cpt I want to try it, regardless of the tcc malarky. It just sounds really relaxing and with health benefits too.

Looks like the tww is getting hard for a quite a few of us now. 2 weeks on holiday flies by....

spinningglad you are having a great time in Italy, hope florence is great. Yes I am 11dpo too. Still sticking to my plan of poas on Friday. Better go out and by my stick at somepoint!

Misty it is funny how everyone views things differently. I also have a hen do for my friend on the day before my birthday so if i do get a bfn I will be particularly hungover when I wake up on my birthday! Here is hoping we both get upduffed while still in our twenties!

sparkle17 · 16/07/2014 18:59

And Brixton sounds like your sister is going through a tough time at the moment. Glad she has good family around her. Poor thing.

KittyVonCatsington · 16/07/2014 19:12

Thanks Brixton! Will wait two more days before I officially panic Grin Sorry the hospital cocked up and are prolonging your sister's agony. Much love. Any time you wish to let off steam, you know where we are!!

You're v sweet Sunshine! I have just had a hot bath though to relax me and try and bring on AF as well. Not trusting any SYMPTOMS now and just want AF so I can at least pretend my body is normal!!

spinning when you get to read this, hope Italy is fab and you are having a great time! Here's hoping you get a BFP out there Smile

cinnamongreyhound · 16/07/2014 20:39

Sorry you feel like that sparkle19, he difference between being in your twenties and thirties is only a day :)

Sorry you felt you needed to go away KittyVonCatsington and I'll still keep my fx that you get your bfp.

Good luck with not poas Misty414, and fx you get bfp!

Yay for your +opk Cpt1sock!

Can't help Sunshinesaz86, I had a copper coil so had normal cycles all the time.

Pretty sure I'm ovulating today so could actually squeeze a bfp into July.

TheDetective · 16/07/2014 21:29

Kitty how frustrating for you. Nature is a cruel bitch sometimes. I hope you get an answer either way and soon.

Ps. I usually find planning to go swimming brings the bitch on Hmm. Or wearing a white dress. Hmm

Grin @ Chandlers. I'm trying desperately hard not to symptom spot! I generally don't get symptoms of anything, until around 5 weeks! Then it starts, and its awful :( I'm absolutely dreading early pregnancy. I have always had hyperemesis. I've got drugs left from last time, so I'm currently hatching a plan to try and keep things under control this time. Hmm

I'm also 30 this year :) Hello to all the other 84'ers! This might well be my last baby, and I feel a bit Confused over thinking I will of had a baby in my teens, 20's and 30's! I had DS1 at 17, DS2 at 28 (he was due the day before my 28th!) and now DC3 will hopefully be due at 30.

Tonight I sorted out my baby DS's things. I now have a 'new baby' drawer with blankets, bibs, sheepskin liner, swaddles, clothes, toys, swimming gear etc all ready for a new arrival. It felt lovely to put it all together.

It made me realise we do need quite a few new things though Hmm and GRRRR!

Have been looking at baby clothes. I adore gender neutral stuff, and I've fallen in love with these. They are mine as soon as I get a BFP Grin.

I've got a good feeling some more BFP's are going to come to the July bus soon! Who is testing tomorrow?!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 16/07/2014 21:38

The detective, i managed to span my dc over 3 decades too. 1998 was the first, 2011 was the last. Fx we squeeze another one in before long. I'm 35 in January and really wanted to be pg before then. But we shall see I guess.

sparkle17 · 16/07/2014 21:38

That's a nice way of looking at it detective. A baby every decade. Maybe a 4th in your 40's!!!!

Ooh those baby clothes are gorg! Although I'm not meant to look till I get a bfp!

TheDetective · 16/07/2014 21:51

I'm hopeful I'll have a 4th one day, but it certainly won't be for a good 4-5 years after this one, if I'm lucky! We have 3 bedrooms, and with a 12 year old in the box room, and 1 year old and the next one in the bigger room. I don't think we could squeeze a 4th in until bunk beds are an option! And even then, I'm not entirely convinced on it, until the eldest is at uni, and we could perhaps put the eldest 2 in the box room together maybe when DS gets to 9ish and isn't in to toys etc. Such a big age gap is a PITA as they can't really share.

We can't afford to move (neg equity) or expand - there is nowhere to extend to. So we just have to make do with what we have for now!

Cpt1sock · 16/07/2014 22:03

Oooo dectective I'll have a baby in each decade too. Ds1 at 18 and ds2 at 21, hopefully dc3 before I'm 35 Grin only just realised. I'm not ruling a 4th in my 40s out although I think dh would say a definite no way!!!

Nice to see you back on the July bus cinnamon hopefully it's your lucky month after all.

Night night ladies x
