With summer holidays coming up, I plan to "do it" honeymoon style a la Foscar and do away with OPKs and temps temporarily and just drink and shag my way to a BFP. Sound like a plan??

kitty & chandler I read an article all by Emma canon yesterday, made me think of you chandler it was called summer loving, was basically how wonderful summer is for allowing you to ditch your normal routines. Relax the healthy eating and clean living lifestyle (if you are that way inclined, I find weekends a good enough excuse for that!) anyway she did a festival survival list, no.1 was to ditch the opks and have fun shagging in a tent! Forget where you are in your cycle & have sex for sex sake and not ttc sake. I'm off glamping in a couple of weeks, not sure I'll be putting it to the test though. A thin wall of canvas between us and the children might be a bit mortifying and scar the dc for life!

I do think with dc being older when we finally tell them I'm pg will their first reaction be " eeewwww you still have sex? " lol.

kitty sorry it was a bfn but you know what we say, it's not over until AF arrives!

And Kitty thanks for your kind words, I was trying to explain to my best friend how my sister's situation made me feel and even though she knows we're TTC (one of the only people who does) she didn't really get why it made me extra sad and worried. It's so reassuring having you all to talk to.

I'd definitely echo the sentiment of DTD even when not in fertile phase, DP and I were talking about this yesterday and I think DTD a lot has made us want to keep DTD even when it's not the "right" time. Saying that we're v lucky as we both work during the day, mon-fri and don't have any dc to distract us!

I'm convinced I've already ov'd or I'm not going to at all. Completely blank OPKs for the last 2 days. The wtf cycle can do one. I want a fair shot at get back to being pregnant!

DH and I have said if no luck this month we are just going to relax, ditch the opks, dtd a lot and not restrict ourselves so much. I always feel more carefree in the summer anyway! I do think there is a reason so many people fall pg on honeymoons or holidays!

Congrats on the bfp sand fx for everyone else, no sign of AF here yet I'm on CD 34, this is my 1st month off the pill so I'm completely in limbo, had a few negative tests but fx it was to early.was feeling really sick yesterday and convinced myself I could see the faintest line this morning ha think I'm going crazy!

Can I just but in and say a thankyou to all those year 6 teachers. (I know a lot of you are teachers) My son got level 5s across the board. I'm so immensely proud. You're all doing a very good job you know.

I am currently on CD22 and hating the 2ww already!
I'm also having acupuncture to try and help as I don't think I've been ovulating but this month had a v positive opk and temperatures are looking good.

Good luck misty we certainly need some luck around here. There has not been a bfp in days. The bus started off so well.

I told my dh I was getting sad in advance of bad news on friday. His way to deal with ttc is to think it will be negative. So he kept telling me that. Not helpful. I am turning 30 on 27th july so a bfp would be the best early birthday present ever. He then added this will be my last try in my twenties. I started to laugh and cry at the same time.

Help please? Is there a line or am I going crazy? I think I can see something but It doesn't look like a solid line, more like an ink bleed? Anyone else had this? X

I've just finished work, about to head home. I've been up for 24hrs now so not sure how well I'm going to do trying to be sexy for dh! I think i had ovulation pains yesterday so Sunday night's sesh should hopefully cover me if it was ovulation time but will trt and dtd tonight too. I've just noticed that next month I'll be off work throughout my fertile time so if I'm not successful this time I've got another decent shot next month.

Fx for all the relaxed summer shagging for you lot. Chandler, I'm in Australia - I was in the UK when I had DD so I found MN that way, and since returning home I haven't really left. Hence me being on here at all hours.

Also, I'm a psychologist so am generally pro-CBT all round!

Amy that test looks flooded to me, did you dip it past the max line? Try another to be sure :)

Kitty, I hate those bfn's and your long cycles must be so frustrating. It's not too late for a bfp but I know we understand our own bodies, do you feel like af is on her way?

Cpt is go. In just about to go to my acupuncture. I went day before OV last week and I ov'd for the first time since having my DD so I reckon it all helps.
I've got the most ridiculously upset stomach. I know it's nothing I've eaten but why do I think everything could be BfP!!! I'm mad!

Didn't go anywhere near the max line but definatly doesn't look right, will try again in the morning with a shop bought one this was only a cheap internet one so I'm not holding out to much hope lol thanks ladies x
