August bus welcoming all newbies and experienced TTCers. Let's start the summer loving. :)

I'm off the July bus now . Bleeding more and no sign of BFP on a test this morning after having them on three days ...

God I wish DH would just agree to surrogacy again and I could stop this madness

Morning august passengers! Not feeling so hopeful today as woke up with a crampy tummy in the night so maybe it's just this stomach ulcer thingy combined with a progesterone surge that's making me feel sicky! My restricted diet was going pretty well at home but it's gone a bit out the window this week! Own worst enemy!

However I have peed in a cup and will go in hunt of a test shortly! Bfp is due today onwards so worth a try.

I'm cd7 and I forgot to do my opk! will have to wait til tomorrow now I guess. I normally ov around cd11/12 so hoping it will still pick up a surge. guess we need to start rampantly dtd really!

Can I join please? Ive been lurking for a while! Stats are: teachermummy2b, ttc #1, cycle 1. Hope ive done that right!

Ive been using the ovia app which said my most fertile time was yesterday, but also been using the clearblue opk & have just had my 7th flashing smiley in a row. Only have one test left, so if still flashing tomorrow will just give up & wait until next cycle. Tbh, think I was probably being wildly optimistic expecting to ov so quickly as this is my first cycle off the pill... :/

gennibugs we are nearly cycle buddies, I'm CD8 and I think i'll ovulate CD11/CD12 this month if things are back to normal. I did my OPK yesterday and it was starting to get dark.

teachermummy you aren't being optimistic, I ovulated straight off BC but a lot later CD16 which was too late for me really. I don't know what the clear blue one OPKS are like so can't really help you there but the standard cheap OPKS were very helpful for me. I was very reassured that I was able to ovulate and heck get a BFP even if it didn't stick.

Shetland my guess would be that you switched the monitor on outside the testing window so it automatically carries the last known result over. For example if you set the monitor at 6am on the first day of your cycle then the testing window in which it asks for a stick will be from 3am-9am (3 hours each side of the time you set it). So if you switch the monitor on at a minute past nine then the testing window has finished and it won't ask for another test until the following day in the testing window. Hope that helps (I have had the monitor for a few years now).

My temp has increased slightly again today so no idea whats going on now. I was expecting it to continue down and for af to arrive, I wasn't expecting it to go back up again . The optimist in me is wondering if it wasn't an odd 'implantation dip' as my temp went down gradually over 5 days rather than a single larger dip. Here is my chart up to today.

If my temp goes up again tomorrow then I may break out a FRER although I am hesitant to as they cost too much to waste on a BFN .

Chandlers - I've been prescribed clomid as I don't ovulate due to PCOS. I have not been having periods either so I have been given provera to bring on a period then I can begin the clomid to get me ovulating and having a proper cycle and a good chance at getting upduffed

Phryn - I believe I started that CBFM thread!! Back in the days before I knew i had PCOS - it doesn't work for my silly long cycles with random LH surges, so I said my goodbyes! It's still going strong through and lots of helpful ladies on there like GrandHigh!

Lucie when I was back in the UK last monthI went hunting for Softcups - I bought a box from Boots in the end. The larger branches seemed to stock them!

Not sure when I'm expecting AF. 26days post miscarriage now. Did get some twinges yesterday and a very strong 2nd line (but not positive opk) so I'm keeping my fingers crossed I might have ovulated this cycle. although I know that is expecting a lot from wtf cycle!

Yes quite recent Chandlers although doctor was very surprised it hadn't been picked up on before as it was very obvious.

I was told I needed to loose a certain amount of weight and the could start the tablets. I finished the provera last Friday and I think it can be anything up to 2 weeks for AF to start but I 'feel' it's imminent.......hopefully!
