Well this definitely seems to be a positive step for you.

We're on cycle 4. Had a chemical pregnancy cycle 2, and cycle 3 was a little bit wacky so I'm hoping things are settling now.

BrixtonBunny · 03/08/2014 07:30

GrandHigh I had two days of pink cm earlier this week and fx things still seem to be ok. I've not given up on you! Xx

TheGrandHighWitch · 03/08/2014 07:57

Good morning ladies and thank you for your kind words Flowers. Temp increased marginally this morning but although I am bleeding a tiny bit heavier now, it is definitely red so counting today as cd1 and back at the beginning. On the plus side, my temp seems to be at a normal ish level for me at af time so hopefully this cycle they will continue to behave themselves.

Best of luck at the gynae appointment (although hope you get to cancel) xBlueberry88x. If I get nowhere with this cycle then I am thinking of going to my gp (will only be 5th cycle of trying by then but previous pregnancies were the result of clomid so am expecting the same problem).

FX that af stays away for you Treaclepie19. I know you said a BFN wouldn't be the end of the world this cycle due to being ill and cycle all over the place but I know how it sucks to feel like another months effort is wasted.

New stats for me as it stands are:

TheGrandHighWitch, Age 29, TTC#3, Cycle 4, BFP due 31st August.

Pikz · 03/08/2014 08:20

Grand high witch feel your pain. Frer with shadow lines but I know it should be darker by now so also think I'm out.

Like you I get a second shot at August.

spinningirl10 · 03/08/2014 08:45

Oh Grandhigh, I'm so sorry to hear af has arrived. I was so hoping this was it for you Thanks doctors sounds like a good plan if you've used clomid before.

lucieloos · 03/08/2014 09:02

Hi everyone,

What a busy day yesterday! DH and I decided to get a kitten so we have been busy settling him in. He is adorable and sleeping next to me at the moment. It's really helping to take my mind off all this TTC stuff and lovely having a little thing to fuss over :D I couldn't be happier right now.

My new vitamins also arrived yesterday so I'm making a start on them. Will be interesting to see if they help at all.

Sunshinesaz we try to use the conceive + as and when we remember but yes been using it for a few months now. It hasn't worked for me yet but I figure it's better than not using it.

kitty sorry AF finally arrived but at least you know where you are now and can start trying again. Hope you had a good holiday. I will add your stats to the list and post up soon.

Grandhigh Sorry AF has arrived but at least you get another go this month

CD9 for me now, I normally ovulate between 11-13. So far we have DTD on cd 5 and 7 and will do it again today. I'm not sure what to do then really whether to start doing it everyday from tomorrow or wait until the positive opk and then do it everyday. I don't think this month is going to be my turn anyway. I haven't been feeling the best this past week or so, just a big off colour, aches and pains and bit of a bad tummy. I don't feel at my healthiest and can't imagine I am going to make a baby.

I had a reply from the acupuncturist I have been considering. She seems so lovely. I said we had been TTC for nearly 6 months with no luck but that we haven't had any tests done yet. She said acupuncture is definitely something to try first but that she will take a full history on our first appointment and if there is something that she feels needs investigating further then I can take it from there. She is away now until September which is ideal really so I will see how this next cycle goes and then book in when she's back

Good luck to all those awaiting bfps this coming week, let us know how you get on...

surreybunny, phryn, Treaclepie, Mamapo, HettyB, Mrsl86, Gemcon, Pompatrol, Mistywillow, ChandlersFarang, Seraphina5291

TheGrandHighWitch · 03/08/2014 09:09

Thank you spinningirl10. Sorry to hear you are facing the same as me Pikz Sad. I didn't expect to go through the same thing for two months running.

Shetland · 03/08/2014 09:13

Sorry the grand This ttc'd is such a rollercoaster.

I am now properly on my 2ww and I'd forgotten how frustrating it is. I'm finding myself constantly working out when I can test! Aaages yet.

KittyVonCatsington · 03/08/2014 09:35

Oh Grand So sorry your little bean didn't stick-I feel gutted on your behalf. Thanks
We can try Soy Isoflavones together! I've taken these ones www.amazon.co.uk/Natures-Aid-Soya-Isoflavones-Genistein/dp/B000GY76L6/ref=sr_1_9?s=drugstore&ie=UTF8&qid=1407054517&sr=1-9&keywords=Soy+isoflavones
Also, temping vaginally is the way to go. I set my alarm and when it goes off, I grab bbt thermometer and place it about an inch in. I then normally doze off. When I wake again, I hold down the button to see the last recorded temp. I give it a good clean afterwards Wink

Thanks lucie! acupuncturist sounds lovely, I hope you don't need her though! Your kitten sounds so cute! Have you a name yet?!

Blue hope your DH and you feel better today.

ChandlersFarang · 03/08/2014 09:39

Morning all! How's your Sunday starting? I'm in hosting mode today, DH's bro, wife and 6 month old baby are landing in Thailand today to see us! Very excited to see them - they're really pushing themselves going so far with the baby to see us, so want to make a fuss of them! Will be our first time hosting a baby too, can't wait!! GrinGrin

Welcome back Kitty!! Sorry to hear you've been suffering. But AF aside, did you have fun on tour? I'm a cricket widow too, but not so much in Thailand! Am secretly looking forward to moving home so DH can play on village greens again, and I can bring a picnic & (hopefully) the offspring to watch him SmileSmile

Grand, spinning, really sorry to hear you're both entertaining an unwelcome AF... Gah! Hope she fucks off soon so you can get back down to it.

xBlue, sorry to hear about your DH! Mine HATES vomming too, very rarely does. Good job they don't have to get preggo huh! Lolz. Hopefully you will be cancelling your medical appts!! I recall you're maybe a fellow PCOS-er, have you been following a low GI diet? And taking metformin? That's a ticket to help increase weight loss, as far as I've read. Good you've already had some success there and are ov'ing tho! Smile

Lucie, eeeeek! Scary seeing my name in a list for an imminent potential BFP! Takes so bloody long to get to this stage for me (7DPO but day 48 of this cycle!) that it's still a total novelty to consider testing! ShockWink I have to be a bit careful as I had an HCG trigger shot to make me ovulate, so I can't test too early or else it might give me a false positive. From scrutinising Dr Google, I reckon from about 10DPO (weds?) I should be safe to try...

Grand you did make me laugh about the triplets - HA! Just the one would do nicely..!! Am enjoying taking this progesterone, as I know it's doing me some good on the LP and endometrial lining fronts, but have no idea WHAT to expect symptoms-wise as a result - enjoying the ride I guess!!

Having had the hot nights this week I was slightly disappointed to sleep like a log last night and wake up at a totally normal temperature. However since yesterday have been experiencing a creamy CM-maggedeon (bahahaha, definitely TMI) so some wee shoots of hope still!! Totally in the dark though frankly - I could have written your posts, Misty!!! Way too early still for such fervent symptom spotting mania... Grin

ChandlersFarang · 03/08/2014 09:43

Oh lucie - awesome work on the kitten!! I've never been a cat fan (this is really the wrong forum to admit this! Oops) but the other day met a lovely cat at my friend's house. Can totally see how looking after a little ball of fluff would be an amazing TTC distraction!! Can we see a pic? Maybe I'll be a cat convert!!! Smile

MrsExtraOrdinary · 03/08/2014 09:47

I'm sorry grand. I'm not sure what to recommend. But keep trying and have faith it will work. Last time during my mammoth 2 year patch of ttc, I didn't ask for any help. I was too afraid I'd get laughed out of the surgery. My mcs and gynea problems were always met with horrendously unsympathetic drs who just told me to think myself lucky I had dc already. Clearly that is not the answer but that was my unfortunate experience.

I've decided af will probably turn up between Monday-Wednesday now, which will be 12-14 days after the late ewcm. ToDay is cd33. Getting used to limbo on day 5. Grin

lucieloos · 03/08/2014 10:07

Ok here he is my super cute ball of fluff! He is much smaller than he looks in the photo, only 8 weeks old Smile

Toot Toot! It's the August bus - here to bring us all our hot, hot, hot summer BFPs!
spinningirl10 · 03/08/2014 10:09

Oops maybe I've confused some! No af for me, I'm about 4dpo.

Car just came to a halt in the most inconvenient of locations!! On the inside lane of dual carriageway. Ah it's really busy and I couldn't get car off road as it just stopped....not a good start to Sunday. Waiting for AA.

Chandler, enjoy your family visit, how long are they staying for?

kurama · 03/08/2014 10:16

grand so sorry af arrived after all that, thought this was your month Sad
lucie have fun with your new fur baby, kittens are so cute shame they dont stay that small and cute for long! lol

ChandlersFarang · 03/08/2014 10:18

Ha ha spinning are you just sitting in the car on MN?! Brilliant! Sorry to hear you broke down - and also sorry for wrongly suggesting AF was in town! Good stuff!! Smile

Ok lucie you've got me!!!! Totally gorgeous kitten!!!! Envy

kurama · 03/08/2014 10:19

spinning sorry your having car troubles. i hate cars Smile
lucie omg such a cute ball of fluff! have you named him/her yet???

ChandlersFarang · 03/08/2014 10:21

The family crew are here for a fortnight - tonight and tomorrow with us, then they're going down to Samui where we're joining them next weekend. Yay!! Then they come back to us for a last weekend. Me and DH borrowed loads of baby equipment from our colleagues - it's nuts how much of it you need! She'll be our smallest guest to date but the apartment's struggling to deal with the plastic entourage! Got a high chair, car seat, cot, bath, steriliser...ShockShock DH was like, "God it puts you off having one doesn't it, look at all this shit!!". I was sort of minded to agree!!! WinkWinkWink

alien11 · 03/08/2014 10:24

Hi can I join please?so glad I've found a group to join

Alien11 32, ttc#no.2 , cycle no idea!!!

I had my Mirena coil removed 3 weeks ago and have had no af so not got a clue where I am in my cycle :-( taken pregnancy test to check now already pregnant and it was negative.

dancestomyowntune. - see you had the Mirena out too :-) good you ve had af. I'm hoping I'm ok down there and will be able to have no.2...

I had a low amh level when conceiving no.1

spinningirl10 · 03/08/2014 10:28

Ah chandler, it will be lovely having a little one around, lots of cuddlesGrin

I am out of the car and stood on the grass verge. Been here for 35minutes and no-one has stopped, quite surprised by that!
The AA won't come out as I'm not a member and dp isn't with me so he's coming to look at it. I've been telling him there's something wrong with the car but he said it was fine, men!!

Spotti · 03/08/2014 10:28

That kitten is too cute lucie! Does he have a name? >feeling really pleased that I'm still lurking - can't be doing with missing out on kitten pics!!!<

No worries kitty - I don't think I worded my response very well either. What I wanted to say was that I hadn't thought about the fact that my card could make anyone feel sad...still sending you more hugs, just because I can!
SpottiBean seems to be ok...or at least I've not had anything happen to make me think otherwise. Got my scan a week tomorrow which I'm quite excited about but it seems that since my MS has eased off a bit, so have almost all of my other symptoms so now I'm worrying myself that there's something wrong! Really glad I still have you lot (and the other dragon ladies :)) to keep me sane and tell me it's all completely normal. Can't imagine TTC and then being pregnant without the support if a group of lovely ladies like you guys :D...

So sorry to hear about the spotting grand :(. Sending you a big squeeze and some triple chocolate cookies (mmmmm) xxx

TheGrandHighWitch · 03/08/2014 10:29

Thank you everyone. I am feeling surprisingly upbeat and positive at the moment. It's quite odd Grin.

I am planning on taking the tesco ones KittyVonCatsington. Got them on the 3 for 2 offer so 90 tablets in all. I am still debating on which days to take them and what dosage to go with though. I am thinking of starting them tonight (so days 1-5 of my cycle as counting today as cd1).

Treaclepie19 · 03/08/2014 10:30

Hi spotti :)
Can't wait to see your scan pic!

Spotti · 03/08/2014 10:31

OH keeps joking it's twins... :-/

kurama · 03/08/2014 10:40
