Sorry af got you grand :( glad you're feeling positive!

Well I'm 9dpo and was silly enough to poas yesterday and this morning, bfn of course. I wouldn't have bothered but I've had cramps for days now and not feeling myself at all. So I'm either pregnant or ill!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 03/08/2014 10:57

Spotti don't want to alarm you but we are capable of carrying anything up to 6 babies! GrinGrin ThanksThanks

MrsExtraOrdinary · 03/08/2014 11:00

Kurama I'd love twins too so no not insane at all. When I had my 2 eldest 2 together 20 month gap which is the closest I've had, it was brilliant. They were inseparable. Eldest ds is 16 in October and even on holiday he got scared in his own room and instead of joining his brothers he jumped into bed with Dd. She's always thought it hysterical that he needs her protection.

Treaclepie19 · 03/08/2014 11:01

Hehe, another here that would love twins :)
6 at once is a little much MrsE!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 03/08/2014 11:05

Treacle you must have seen the programmes on TV about sextuplets! It's not impossible you know. LolGrin my cousin had ivf twins after an 13 yr ttc marathon and it was he 3rd cycle. She got married when I was 5 but I had a baby before her in the end. She didn't give up hope.

Another friend has recently had twins I think she had some clomid. She had a boy and a girl, gorgeous!

I saw Twin girls on holiday could have only been a couple of months old. They were beautiful.

Can you tell I have a slight twin addiction. Blush

spinningirl10 · 03/08/2014 11:09

Welcome alien Grin

Ooh I would love twins as well.

Treaclepie19 · 03/08/2014 11:11

Haha MrsE, I have seen the programmes but can't imagine having sextuplets!

Wineandchoccy · 03/08/2014 11:23

I saw triplets yesterday the pram looked horrendous to push but all 3 girls looked scrumptious, my DH did look horrified when I reminded him I have twins in the family Grin

Well I think I am in the 2 week wait but not 100% sure of how many dpo I am because I never got a positive opk but I have been working odd hours so testing as been irregular.

Spotti · 03/08/2014 11:44

Oh MrsE, don't! I could really do without 6 babies all at once!!!

If it turned out to be twins (or more) then obviously I will be thrilled and will just have to figure out how on earth I'm going to juggle everything, but if is have the choice, just one baby at a time please...at least for my first anyway ;).

(As far a I'm aware there's no history of twins in either of our families, but I know that doesn't mean it can't happen!

Oh god, now I'm even more nervous for next Monday...)

KittyVonCatsington · 03/08/2014 12:50

Hi alien Hope you get success on the August bus Smile

OMG lucie that kitten is the cutest!!! I grew up with a ginger female called Clementine-they really are beautiful in colour! Hope your little fur-baby brings you lots of luck!

I've read a lot of people have had success on the Tesco Soy Iso Grand so fingers crossed! I also read that taking them CD1-5 means you are more likely to get lots of follicles maturing so a bigger chance of multiple ovulation Wink: CD3-7 means you might get one strong follicle. I went for in the middle to hedge my bets! Don't care how many little bundles of joy I get!

A big squeeze back Spotti! I have heard that pregnancy can reduce symptoms of a lot of syndromes-particularly auto-immune ones. I have Psoriasis and a lot of people comment that their Psoriasis goes away during pregnancy. I think more needs to be done to find out why and bottle it! So excited for you with your scan coming up-it's come around so quickly Smile Be sure to let us have a little scan pic to coo over Wink

Coffee
Don't lose hope. 9dpo really is too early. You might have only just implanted and HCG hasn't got through to your urine yet. Test in 48 hours time Smile

Jesus MrsE No wonder you felt so lonely TTc last time. So many just see TTC as a natural and frequent occurance that they forget how emotional and difficult it can be if they are not experiencing it themselves.

Hi Wine Sounds like a stressful past few weeks. Hopefully you just missed the LH surge and can now put your feet up and wait!

Here's to lots of Dragon August babies, uno, twins, triplets...the lot!!

MaMaPo · 03/08/2014 12:55

Hello all! I have been off this thread for about, ooh, 500 posts so I am a bit lost about how everyone is doing! Sounds like there are a few bfps around, for which hearty congratulations! How joyous!

And massive BOO to all those AFs that have arrived. BOO.

AF arrived for me yesterday so I am OUT for August and onto September. No surprise at all due to lack of trying this month, although the timing WAS a surprise. It arrived on day 22 of the cycle, which means my last2 cycles have been 21-22 days long (after about 5 previous cycles of around 28 days). It's the first time I've tried charting anything, just used a few opks last month from around CD10 but no positives. If my cycle is so short at the moment, should I just burn through a stack of OPKs by using them from whenever AF ends (usually about CD4-5), or wait until a later point? I've also started temping but it seems too early to understand anything from that.

MaMaPo · 03/08/2014 12:57

Oh, and Kitty I meant to mention - hard luck for you! Sounds like your cycle was really messing you around. I hope next cycle everything evens out a bit more for you.

Congrats Spotti!

KittyVonCatsington · 03/08/2014 13:09

Hi Ma
The length of your cycle isn't too much of a concern as long as you are ovulating. It will be your luteal phase that is key. If I was you, I would start using OPKs as soon as AF ended and continue temping. You may be having very short LH surges but it's up to you if you want to test more than once a day.
The temping will give you the clearest picture so I would DTD EOD until you see that sustained temp rise. As long as your luteal phase stays 10 days or over, you have nothing to worry about. If you find you have an anovulatory cycle through temping at the end of the cycle, see your GP.

MaMaPo · 03/08/2014 13:25

Super helpful - thanks Kitty!

TheGrandHighWitch · 03/08/2014 13:37

Yeah Kitty I read that the earlier you take them means you will release more but that they will be less mature (multiples are fine by me but worried that they won't stick if not very mature). If taking them later then you will receive one mature folicle instead. Like you, I have considered hedging my bets and going down the taking it on days 2-6 route. Those are the days I would take clomid so seems a good bet tbh. I am also thinking of going to the dr's tomorrow morning (if I can get an appointment that is) to discuss my concerns and maybe get the ball rolling.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 03/08/2014 14:02

Ooo kitty when af finally arrives I think I'm going to give those vits a go! Had a couple of months off everything entirely as I think it was making me do lally! But ready for another full on push! That is if af turns up Wink

cinnamongreyhound · 03/08/2014 18:23

He's so cute lucieloos, looks like my Tigger when he was a kitten. He was covered in fleas and had a belly full of worms though :( big healthy almost 5 year old cat now. He was dh's plan to stop me hAving a baby, we picked him up 6 days after we found out I was pregnant with ds2!!

Sounds lovely ChandlersFarang!

Sorry that it was af TheGrandHighWitch and good luck with your ISO flavins (sp?)

MrsBeeBeeBee · 03/08/2014 18:29

Just to be annoying when the stats have just been updated...

Think AF arrived yesterday (I say think, as it's like no AF I've had before!)

So new stats
MrsBeeBeeBee, 29, ttc#2, cycle 4 (mc cycle 2 July)

MrsBeeBeeBee · 03/08/2014 18:30

Oops forgot to add

Testing date I might sneak in on 31st Aug

Whatamuddleduck · 03/08/2014 18:39

Hi ladies mind if I join you? Technically I suppose I'm still on the July bus as af is a week late but my cycles can be erratic so she may yet arrive.(I was poas nuts last month, all bfn and I suspect I'll have another go Tuesday when DP isn't here to raise his eyebrows at me peeing on money).
Stats : I'm 32 ttc1, cycle 1 but very likely to enter cycle 2 in the next few days. I have a cbfm ready and waiting!
I'm heading back to the start of the thread now to catch up x

I thought I had entered my bfp due date on earlier stats. Sorry.
bfp due 24th August.

Beautiful kitten Lucie. We have just found homes for our litter and I miss them so much. Wish I could've kept them all!!

dtd tonight then eod until 17th August because I don't use anything to track ovulation so I'm hoping that will cover all bases? I'm currently on cd8. cycles are usually 29 days..

sparkle17 · 03/08/2014 20:19

Lucie i love your cat. that would definitely make me stop thinking about ttc. My dh would actually prefer a baby than a cat!

Sorry af got you grand and mama
