cinnamongreyhound · 29/07/2014 15:12

Wow, you lot have been busy while I was out!!

How long ago before last night did you dtd Aprilray? It might be ok, or you might ovulate a bit later.

When are you home MrsExtraOrdinary? Sounds positive!

Yay xBlueberry88x!

You have way more imagination than me kurama! We stood nervously over the test having had him in the loo with me when I got my bfp with ds1!

Aprilray · 29/07/2014 15:47

Hopefully GrandHighWitch, FX!!

Cinnamon, that is a very good question! It's been over a week so if an egg drops before DH returns there will be no swimmers waiting for it...wish we had DTD last week but DH wasn't feeling well and then had my Dad staying at the weekend.

Wow, you've put a lot of thought into it Kurama Smile

MrsExtraOrdinary · 29/07/2014 15:55

We leave Friday cinnamon! We've had such a great time. Blueberry the definition of lightening crotch is sharp striking pain in the fanjo! To the point it takes your breath away and you momentarily can't walk! Lol

I thought it was just my body being odd but rusty had it this month and has just got her bfp! I know I've had it previously but can't actually remember when. It's something to do with implantation. Grin

MrsExtraOrdinary · 29/07/2014 15:56

English If Icould escape my teenage children I'd go and but one but think they'd all be mortified to think we actually have sex still! Haha

spinningirl10 · 29/07/2014 17:49

Blueberry, yay for the positive opkGrin mine was positive as well....I know what we'll both be doing tonightWink

MrsE, sounding good for you! Pleased you're enjoying your hols

spinningirl10 · 29/07/2014 17:52

Genni, dtd eod sounds like a good plan and less stressful, fxGrin

Kurama, 14 days late?!! You must be going mad waiting.....fx the blood test gives you a bfp.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 29/07/2014 17:59

Spinning very Envy of your 2 week hols! Don't think I've ever had 2 weeks away from everything! Hope you're feeling refreshed for the August bus!

lucieloos · 29/07/2014 19:17

I'm wondering whether to get an AMH blood test done. I'm 35 and onto my 5th month of trying.. I know it's not that long but just don't want to be wasting time if something is wrong. Has anyone else had this test and if so what was the outcome? I do want it but I'm really scared incase it comes back very low. I wouldn't know what to do then whereas at the moment we are in a little bubble keeping our fingers crossed every month.

sparkle17 · 29/07/2014 19:55

great you have your positive on your opk. get dtd! we wont by cycle buddies this time!

sparkle17 · 29/07/2014 19:55

that was for spinning

spinningirl10 · 29/07/2014 20:11

Thanks sparkle, I haven't told dp as he sometimes gets performance issues! I'm hoping he'll be up for dtd as we have a room to ourselves again now we're home Wink although I do have a houseful of students, 5!!

Ah MrsE it was lovely but quite tiring as we travelled around. 7 hotels in 14 days, great fun though.

Hi ladies can I join? My stats are Ttc#1, cycle 3, 32, currently day 3. Hoping for bfp 21st august. Really would like to b around some others going through the highs and lows and so far phantom symptoms!

xBlueberry88x · 29/07/2014 20:32

Spinning I was to excited I had to show my dp how happy I was lol...luckily he stepped up (but I was worried he would get nervous).

7 hotels spinning? That's energetic! I'm actually looking forward to normality as much as it's all been good fun. I'm want my own bed Smile

cinnamongreyhound · 29/07/2014 21:54

What are the ages of your other dc MrsExtraOrdinary? So you should get a clear answer if you wait until you're home of af due Thursday then.

No idea I'm afraid Lucieloos :(

Hi Katybear123!

Well let's hope you hang on a bit longer before you ovulate Aprilray or he could post you some Wink

kurama · 29/07/2014 21:58

lol thanks!!! ive been thinking about it for a while, although i did turn to google for some help with ideas. i went through a few versions before i got one that i thought might work.

yep im going crazy spinning when i wasnt on clomid my cycles were all over the place but i always had moodswings and tender breasts the week before af so i never tracked them, but having been 31-34 days for past 4 months and having symptoms for past 15 days im getting rather annoyed now. today is the 1st day i havnt tested in over 2 weeks Blush

how is everyone else doing???

HettyB · 29/07/2014 22:06

Hi girls, not directly TTC related but has anyone had a colposcopy after an abnormal smear? I've just had my results through to say I had abnormal cells and need to have a colposcopy. It's probably fine but I'm home alone and having a little cry as I'm scared :-(
Positive tales/reassurance would be very much appreciated! I guess ttc is on hold for a while at least now...

HettyB · 29/07/2014 22:08

Sorry to ask on here - I really want to call my mum (typical girly reaction) but I can't as she's had cervical cancer and I know she'll think the worst/blame herself so I don't want to worry her when it's probably nothing.

lucieloos · 29/07/2014 22:08

Hi Sunbathing

The clinic sent me some info about the amh test and this is an extract..

What is AMH?
Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) is a hormone produced by cells in small developing egg sacs (follicles) that contain an egg in a woman's ovaries. Therefore, AMH gives an indication of the number of eggs being produced during a woman's monthly cycle.
The level of AMH in a woman's blood is a good indicator of her ovarian reserve and is helpful in assessing her fertility status.
AMH level remains constant or only fluctuates mildly, throughout the menstrual cycle, so that AMH can be measured at any time during a cycle with a blood test, and the test can also be taken while a woman is using the oral contraceptive pill.

Basically the higher the level of AMH the better I think. I think we are in a similar position sunbathing. I am also 35 and TTC #1 for almost 6 months and worried that I won't be able to have any.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 29/07/2014 22:18

Cinnamon I had 4dv with my first husband. They are 15,14,11&7. We split before dc4 was born. Then I remarried and my dh had his own dc already. His son lives with us all the time and his dd every other wkd and holidays. We finally had our own ds in 2011 after 2 years of trying inc an mc. We've been trying since Xmas this time. General surgery discharged me in December so we got cracking. I want expecting a quick baby and accept for us this would be the icing on the cake.

We are so thrilled to have ds though. We didn't think we would get him after such a long wait. It's lovely to have a child that doesn't walk out of your life every other wkd and you completely own together.
