The doctor says it's not a uti but I have burning still. She says must be the thrush.

We're pretty much out this month due to the thrush but hey. I get a second chance if af comes on time.

Treacle I feel your pain. I actually got referred to a consultant for chronic thrush. In the end it was resolved by. 3 months of consistent weekly fluconozole. I had to take a tablet every week. As a preventative. The 2% cream is better. How's your dh coping? You've slapped plenty of canestan in him too haven't you.

pikz ive been going crazy as on clomid ive had 31/33 day cycles and im on cd39 today and ive had spotting on and off for last 5 days, which ive never had before, also no normal af symptoms and lots of positive symptoms but bfns on ics so far.

grandhigh im feeling crap today, spotting seemed to have stopped yest but has come back bright red this aft while dtd and my moods been all over the place as well as being unusually clingy today joints not too bad today though.
coral can you get them done were your going? or id try and get them done asap when u come back.

Had my HSG today it bloody hurt but everythings clear no lumps or bumps and she said my left ovary looks like it might be just about ready to ovulate!

Got some opks so gonna see what happens and the doc (a she for once thank god) said to get right on with the dtd!! Theres no risk!

Still a bit crampy now and it made me bleed a bit but im all okay!

Glad it was ok blueberry, I got updiffed with DS1 6weeks after a hsg, laproscopy, hysteroscopy and adhesion removal. Was a complete surprise as was waiting to start fertility treatment.

Oh and April my DH is away at least a week a month. I've shed many tears about it but as he pointed out he was away 2 weeks a month and we managed to concieve DS1 so it does work. Just shag lots when he is around.

I'm really worried that I don't ovulate as I've been OPKing like a madwoman since cd8 (up to 5x a day so I don't miss it) - it got to almost positive on about day 13 but since then it's gone super faint so I think it's dropped off. I'm temping but it's only my first month taking bbt so I don't know what to look for...

I want to book a docs appt to say I'm not OVing and ask for day 3/21 bloods but I'm scared they'll say no and laugh at me!

I've fallen lucky this month and last month, my fertile periods have fallen on my rare day shift weeks. I'm supposed to do 2 weeks of days, 2 weeks of nights every 4 weeks, but for some reason, I get a fuck tonne of nights. I'm in the middle of 7 weeks of nights out of a 9 week period.

Anyone else a shift worker and TTC?!

Hmm, looks like I'm not ovulating this month then. I got my peak opk on monday but I've had no temp rise.
This cycle just isn't meant to be!

In case you didn't know, I had a mc in June so I'm currently in my WTF cycle, think I ov'd on Sunday.
So my stats are

Age 30 TTC #1, Cycle 11, BFP due 4th August.

If this cycle fails I'll be back to temping to prove (or not) ov.

Hetty, when you ov you should see a temp shift. There should be a clear pattern of lower temps pre-ov and higher temps post-ov. If you use fertility friend it will confirm ov for you if it see 3 consecutive higher temps.
How long have you been TTC? What makes you think you're not ov'ing? Drs generally won't begin investigative tests until 1 year TTC if under 35(I think) or 6months if over. Try not to worry just yet hun

Thanks for the advice English, I know I'm being silly and should just relax. My temps have been all over the place, possibly due to the warm weather? I did have a dip on days 13 and 14 and it's risen a bit since (with another dip in the middle of the rise) - I'm on CD17 now.

While we haven't been actively ttc for long (and technically still aren't as the concept freaks DP out - he prefers to think of it as being 'open to the idea of children, aka shagging with no protection), we haven't used any protection for the last four months. This month we dtd cd 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16. I'm still getting what I think of as OV pain but it could be something else. I guess this just isn't our month.

Maybe try the clear blue OPKs. They give a clear indication of when you're at your most fertile. Not everyone gets on with the ones you have to decipher yourself. It could just be that you're ov'ing later than you thought. How long on average are your cycles? If you look on the fertility friend website you can see other peoples charts, that should show you what a typical ovulating pattern should be.

My cycles are normally 28 days so I'd expect OV around cd 15/16 but the closest I got to a positive OPK was about day 13 and it definitely wasn't a proper positive. My OPKs now have gone back to being really faint. I'll have a look at others charts on FF.

Welcome TheDetective and EnglishGirlsReturned. I hope it is down to the weather that our temps are affected HettyB and TreaclePie19 because I have a feeling otherwise I am not ov'ing either. My temps and the pattern is just not normal for me.

TheDetective I'm not a shift working but DP is. So far we've been lucky with when my fertile time is and his shifts, but if it happens when he's on nights and I'm in work (usual office hours), we don't really see each other, (and he's dead on his feet when we do), so not sure how that will work.

Last day of work before I have week and a day of annual leave. Whoopeee! (Can you tell I'm excited?! )
