nomdemere · 10/07/2014 09:42

Well I am a bit old, so my eggs are probably getting crumbly. This one just wasn't meant to be, but fingers crossed that the next one is a good'un.

Wouldn't it be nice if this thread ended up with a series of new baby photos over next year.

PerpetualStudent · 11/07/2014 12:47

Sorry to hear about AF nom!
Im now 2 days late, been feeling usual AF-approaching symptoms on and off, but just tested this morning & BFN.
I know AF is proably just taking her sweet time, but hate not knowing - this is like the TWW with bells on!!

ILiveOnABuildsite · 11/07/2014 17:37

Oh dear perpetual I know what you mean, in many ways it's better to know one way or another but at same time as long as you don't then BFP is still an option. Fx for you.

PerpetualStudent · 12/07/2014 16:09

Thanks! Another day, another BFN and no AF. SO frustraiting, but like you say Fx.... How's everyone else getting on?

zoobaby · 12/07/2014 20:30

Well I'm officially out. AF got me. Grr. Onwards and upwards. Time to order the next month's OPK.

ILiveOnABuildsite · 12/07/2014 20:47

Oh sorry to hear that Zoobaby Thanks Cake

lilyp2014 · 13/07/2014 11:50

Hi Everyone,
Well i'm out for this month. Had spotting starting on 11dpo and hoped it was IB but no, she is here today! So on to the next month. Think we will just dtd every other day from cd10 and not use OPK's and think i will use evening and primrose oil to help with cm.

Sorry to all who AF got and hoping that August will be our month!

indiangirl2013 · 14/07/2014 09:38

Umm...so i dont know what dpo i am but somewhere btween 10-12 i think...
day before yest evening, i began getting these stitch like cramps, mostly localized, in one particular spot...made that area very sore...then yest was better...and today i had soem pinching at the exact same spot...can you throw some light on that one gals! I am freaking out! :(

nomdemere · 15/07/2014 10:49

Fingers crossed Indiangirl, you could be our success story for this month! Any news?

PerpetualStudent · 15/07/2014 11:05

Sorry to hear about AF lily :(

I'm feeling really hesitant to even type this - but yesterday and this morning I tested and got very faint BFP!
It feels a bit unreal & Im not sure if I trust the tests as the lines are so faint, but I'm getting a digi test for tomorrow, just to (hopefully) see it in writing!!

Indiangirl - are the cramps in your side? I've been getting cramps and aches down my right side - through my lower back and hip. Thought it was a cyst, but if these BFP holds out then perhaps it was a sign of implantation? Fx for you

LadderToTheMoon · 15/07/2014 11:58

Hello, may I join? I've skimmed the thread, but haven't read it properly yet.

I'm 5 DPO, trying for baby no.2. I'm desperately trying to remember my early symptoms from last time. I remember being incredibly tired (tick, but I'm always tired these days!) and tingly, sore boobs (not yet).

ILiveOnABuildsite · 15/07/2014 14:08

Hi Ladder and welcome.

I'm also 5 dpo and have pretty much same 'symptoms' as you, always tired (but like you nothing new there) no changes in boobs yet but I didn't feel any soreness until week 8 with first pregnancy, so really nothing to write home about but the wait it slowly killing me.

LadderToTheMoon · 15/07/2014 17:34

It's kind of both better and worse this time around. Last time I was under immense pressure at work, causing my periods to go haywire with the stress. My cycle lasted 35-50 days so I had very little idea when I might be ovulating. Frustrating at the time, but it meant we couldn't be too regimented about it. I only found out I was pregnant when I was 7 weeks already, so the early symptoms I only realised in hindsight ("oh so that's why my boobs felt sore and tiredness wasn't due to too many late nights...")

This time my cycle is about 25 days, so I know another "go"is just around the corner if it doesn't work this time, but all this symptom-studying is getting wearisome already Grin

lilyp2014 · 16/07/2014 22:11

Perpetual! Congratulations! Did you do the digi test?

Hi to Ladder and Buildsite. Hows the tww going for you? The symptom spotting was torture for me last cycle.

Im now on my second on CD4, after a light, short period, still convinced myself to take a test haha I have gone mad and of course it was BFN but my boobs still felt a tiny bit tender when I sqeeze and poke them and feeling a little weepy, but crazy hormones I guess but glad I ruled it out and now looking forward to the next fertile week.

Hows everyone doing? Any more BFP? August will be the month!

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 16/07/2014 22:26

Hello all, am tentatively saying hello. We are trying for baby 2, supposed to be "just shagging" but I couldn't really cope with the uncertainty even of that so we went at it more meaningfully this cycle! Dd was conceived on clomid but I have had a couple of sensible cycles since coming off my pill and have been fairly certain I'm ovulating. Af is due any day and I have had horrid cramps for a week now. I tested this morning and got a bfn but I feel terribly bloated and uncomfortable, nauseous and have an upset stomach. I booked an appt with my GP for tomorrow as I've been so sore I am worried that something is wrong abdominally, pg or not. Dh is away too so I am feeling particularly weepy and alone!!

lilyp2014 · 16/07/2014 22:44

Sorry to hear you are feeling so down Pasbeaucoupdegendarme. Definitely best to be checked over if you're feeling unusual pain. We know our bodies, even if the tww sends us a little loopy.

Let us know how you get on and FX your discomfort is the result of a BFP!

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 17/07/2014 16:50

Ah well having said a tentative hello, I'm now saying less tentative goodbye! Am bleeding a bit today, less than I would expect for af but still bleeding, and GP thinks I have gastroenteritis so I'm out, I reckon!

Good luck to those still waiting.

ILiveOnABuildsite · 17/07/2014 18:28

Aaaw pasbeaucoup I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you feel better soon and ready to try again next month.
