2 DPO here. The 2 week wait feels endless!

I only really need to wait till Thursday to test. When I woke up this morning I had this sudden burst of 'no problem I can definitely wait' but this evening it seems like forever again! Luckily this first week did go quicker than I thought it would. When I'm busy it's fine but as soon as I don't have jobs to do it's just playing on my mind all the time!

Oh god I've started symptom spotting even though I'm pretty sure I'm out this month (massive fight with DP during fertile time so only Dtd at the v beginning / end of the window). 7 dpo and about 12 days to AF but got weird low cramping and am knackered. Probably constipation or the beginning of a nasty stomach bug or something but a girl can hope....

How's everyone else coping with tww? Any encouraging symptoms.....?

So I cracked and tested today at 8dpo (I know, I know!) I've got these new internet cheapies off EBay - they are thinner than the others, and I got a ridiculously faint squinter of a line but I think it was an evap as I've had those on ICs before, so I then did a FRER which was bfn.

Stupid really - even if I am pg it's so unlikely for anything to come up. I didn't test positive until 11dpo both previous pregnancies (having tested earlier) and the ICs even then were soooo faint. Kicking myself, as it's just a stupid waste of money testing so early!

Haha molly it's just so tempting though isn't it. I keep thinking about it but like you said even if + nothing would show now but I just want to know. got loads planned over the next few days I want to know if I can drink at the events haha!

when are you going to test next? I've got ages til AF is due so trying to be patient....

So I was beginning to think my feelings (low back pain, tired etc) are all ovulation related and I still think they are.
Been feeling 'normal' last few days and the now there is change in cm...that could be a symptom? Or does that just usually happen in2ww before af? I can't remember if I usually get that!!

I hate symptom spotting even though I can't help doing it! I actually think that genuine pg 'symptoms' in the tww are quite rare. In previous pregnancies I'm pretty sure I didn't feel anything other than a tiny bit of cramping and stretching until nausea came along at about 6 weeks.

Anyway, looks like I am out with my crappy 9 day luteal phase - temp has dropped and spotting started. I wrote I was 8dpo yesterday but was actually 9dpo, so if AF starts today at 10dpo I will have a 9 day LP again. At least I can start the next cycle quickly and get back on it I suppose!

Going to go all out this month with supplements for me and DH as that's how I got pg the last two times - just thought I would try au naturel to start with this time but it's just not working :-(

What are you going to take Molly? I'm wondering if I should make more of an effort as I think AF is on her way now...

I am absolutely not symptom spotting (at least for the next week) as last month felt quite confident but it wasn't to be

Well as I think my main issue is short LP (self diagnosed!) I take a whole load of things to cover all bases as short LP can be caused by, and cause a few different things - ov not strong enough, low progesterone, uterine lining not good enough, implantation not happening...

So, for my whole cycle I take Vitex Agnus Castus and Dong Quai together to balance hormones, help ov, increase luteal phase, improve blood flow to the uterus for implantation. Vitamin B100 complex for LP. Then I take red raspberry leaf capsules for lining and implantation. I take Evening primrose oil for CM AF to O, and then just general conception vitamins. Will put DH on conception vitamins and omega 3,6,&9. That seemed to work for me last time so will just give it another go! Not sure if I actually need all of it but don't want to waste months on testing out different things!

This is it folks! af due sometime this week, based on previous months it could be anytime between tomorrow and saturday...but I have suddenly got the worst skin in the world yesterday evening so i haven't got the highest hopes...

So u was quite content doing a but of casual weekend symptom spotting and quietly getting my hopes up. I had a weird low down mild cramping, heartburn and slight nausea in bed, weird hot flushes and peeing like a mofo (I usually wake up once in the night and have to go immediately on waking, I have a gnats bladder, but last night went 5 times, have only just been and need to go again. getting ridiculous) but then all hopes were dashed when OH said he too had heartburn, had a bit of a dodgy tum and so now I suspect I'm just coming down with something or its a symptom of a weekend of rich food. boooooo.

Molly, Elizabeth, sorry to hear things aren't looking promising for this month. Hope that next month is the lucky one.

I am still symptom spotting - still sleeping particularly heavily, and had some mild cramping yesterday that could be implantation. But could quite easily not be. No bloody idea, really.

I'm out as I suspected. AF arrived this morning. Off to buy all sorts of supplements at lunchtime today!

I'm going to the FC later for a blood test to check if I ovulated, and if I did then I can test 1 week today. V nervous, been trying for 15 months and now using Clomid, just hope that it all works out this month.

Anyone else testing Monday/Tuesday next week?

Are Tesco home preg tests any good? V cheap so I have stocked up but not sure if they are worth it!!

Sorry to hear that Elizabeth - I am defo out too - AF arrived today as well. On a positive note my luteal phase was ten days this time which was an improvement! Join you on the next TWW!

Sorry to hear about AF Elizabeth and Molly.
I've been going bonkers with symptom spotting over weekend, been having lots of cramps and aches in my lower back, with dull pains feeling like they're shooting from kidneys to hips/upper thighs - been stupidly doing lots of googling - could be implantation cramps, AF symptoms, ovualtion a week later than expected, cysts or an ectopic pregnancy - what japes!
Why am I torturing myself like this? Why is my body being so damn confusing?!...

Im off to eat cheese!

London, I haven't used Tesco tests, but I have used these - unbelievably cheap at the moment, and apparently the same ones that NHS uses. They've always been accurate for me (3 previous pregnancies).

oh no even my OH is symptom spotting.. he's now convinced I'm preggers. Despite him having THE EXACT SAME SYMPTOMS. He is doing nothing for me not getting my hopes up!! but at least I can go POAS crazy and pretend it's to reassure him... ahem.

But effctively I'm the same as you nom... no bloody idea!

Rubbish news about the arrival of AF ladies - go celebrate with some TWW contraband... brie, wine... etc etc. And fingers crossed for next month xxx

Can I join? AF is due on the 15th so just about in my tww :) otherwise known as alcohol avoidance hell...

perpetualstudent I have a few ideas - metranidazole is a strong antibiotic used for anaerobic bacteria e.g. After a tooth extraction so you can explain you have had a tooth out. The pain etc and for added effect ask whoever if they can see the gap where the tooth was ;)

Also I have said I have a UTI so I'm not drinking or mild headache or driving etc

Currently in bed with what I optimistically thought might be early preg cramping but now feels decidedly like AF cramp even though not due for 10 days so feeling a bit miserable. Also fricking freezing and got the electric blanket on after 3 days of being boiling. Think I've got a virus not a bean. Disappointing.

Hope everyone else is faring a bit better than me!

Oh Sarah, sorry about your cold. The cramps could still be implantation. Nobody said you can't get pregnant with a cold
