I'm getting major urges to POAS but it's far too early, AF not due until Sunday...

Well so far managed to keep off the contraband! I've got some OPKs but fortunately I'm crap in the morning so unless I leave them out I pee without thinking first. Just as well.

I can't let myself on these forums too much - cycle is too long and it gets too frustrating. I'm sick with envy at at anyone wth a 28 day cycle. Living your life in 2 week chunks is INFINITELY preferable to 3-4 wk/2 wk splits! Well jel.

I KNOW there's a follicle on the left (thanks for that £200 ultrasound - d'oh) so just need it to man up. Doing the shagging, DP doesn't like it when we're shagging with intent as it puts the pressure on, but what's the alternative. It's one week in 5-6!

Any tips for this?!

Hoping beyond hope that this is the month. Been at t since December and it's starting to take it's toll. Fitter and healthier than ever but mental fatigue from carrying it around with me all day is utterly exhausting.

Ok, so despite the lad on the checkout looking at me somewhat strangely, I went and bought more. I don't know if you can see the line properly on the middle one, it's a little faint, but definitely there. (I may also have a couple I can do tomorrow morning too!)

Stats, remember my cycle is usually about 32-35 days, well I've been using the advanced clearblue fertility monitor (this is the third month) and I got a peak on day 14 after a couple of highs. So I assumed I was icing, but weirdly early, as I do around day 21 normally. We had DTD on day 13, then I got the peak and we DTD on days 14 and 15 too. I wanted to on day 16 to try and be sure, but poor DH had to say no. Also DTD on day 20, but that won't have had any effect.

Symptoms, not a lot really, I did have some low down like gentle period pains a couple of days ago, but that's it apart from feeling tired which isn't unusual due to work (apart from Sunday when I did ridiculous amounts of stuff and dunno why I was so frantic), and my blood sugars have been a bit all over, know why now! I've got to get onto the hospital tomorrow now so we can start checking stuff.

I think it was a 4 pronged approach that worked - blanket bombed the egg, had a different cycle to usual, and also we'd finished organising and furnishing the room I'd kept fairly bare since we moved in nearly 18 months ago cos I wanted it as a nursery for a different purpose! Oh, and I DID tell the witch it was happening this month, that she wasn't going to show up.

Don't know why I felt the need to test this early either, sorry, no major symptoms at all.

Ok, off to breathe now (and pee on more sticks in he morning!)

Just checking in from my holiday, tried to catch up on the posts, and decided i will not try to respond to them all, but see i need to say congrats to zyla!

Still no AF here...POAS will have to wait until we get home Friday if AF not arrived, in the middle of nowhere so no chance of popping out to buy one. Probably a good thing as whatever the result it'd be on my mind.

Hope all goes well at clinic tomorrow. Come on girls be assertive with that witch! Obviously works.

icy you shouldn't use fmu for opks, just hpts. opks should be done during the day, usually afternoon so the hormone has time to build up. but I obviously don't condone contraband of course!
