Hi everyone, I know this is probably a bit early (since it isn't July yet) but I thought I would start a new thread for those who lost their tickets for previous busses and for those who are beginning their bus journey now. Please feel free to add your stats to the list and grab a good seat while you can. Best of luck to everyone TTC and I look forward to getting many BFP's posted on here.

Haha thanks kitty, blueberry and spinning perhaps that is all it is since we have only been at this a few months! If I jump him he never refuses Wink but I feel a little guilty if he is not in the mood!
But tonight I think I won't give him the choice and I did warm hi yesterday! :)

Low back and stomach ache today and headache, seems I feel pretty crappy around/post OV time!

english sorry to hear about your difficult time but nice to see you
silverine I will pop over to catch up on the stats!

Wineandchoccy · 26/06/2014 08:13

English I am really sorry to see you back here, I was on the earlier buses as got a BFP in March but then had a mmc in May so I'm back here to. Hope you are being looked after and get a very sticky bean soon.

silverine · 26/06/2014 08:44

Thank you very much kitty, notoast, cinnamon and rainbow, fx indeed!
English sorry to see you back on the buses, hope you get a sticky bean soon. Choccy best of luck to you too! My stats are ttc#1 since June 2012, MMC late 2012 and early 2013, CP March 2014. So here I am again, really hoping this will be my time to be happy. We deserve it, ladies! x

kurama · 26/06/2014 08:49

fx for everyone this month Grin

FoscarC · 26/06/2014 09:03

english so sorry to hear your news. That's very sad but at least you can now begin to start a fresh.

Good luck to everyone else who in the 2ww and for silverline. Yay for BFP.

I'm still waiting out. I know people keep saying to poas already but the longer I leave it the longer I can stay positive. If I do a test and it's a bfn then that is that. Where as now I can still have a small little 'I may be pg' in the back of my mind. Also mentioned doing a test this weekend to dh and he really wants to be with me when I test. So I guess that'll be Monday night or Tuesday morning then. Unless af gets me first. Which I have a feeling it may do today. Or tomorrow. Not feeling positive today at all. And feeling quite sad and emotional which normally means its af time. Hey ho. We will see.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 26/06/2014 09:21

Keeping fx firmly for you silverline. Let's hope this is the last bus you're on. Thanks

spinningirl10 · 26/06/2014 09:28

Foscar, I admire you being able to wait, I only ever get as far as 10dpo and I poas like a crazy womanGrin

MrsE that is very restricted! What about protein and carbs? You'll be super slim on a diet of salad leaves and fruit!!

I've just booked to have my first reflexology session on Monday with Jane Holt, if any ones interested enough to google her she seems to have very good credentials and specialises in fertility reflexologyGrin

FoscarC · 26/06/2014 09:56

spinning the thing is, I'm not really sure when I ov. I use an app to monitor af and check ewcm but that's it. I don't test with opks so I may not be 14dpo. Who knows. I may not even ov!! So I'm waiting until Monday. If I haven't been visited by the af witch by then, I'm really hoping for a BFP. Just hate the wait. And I now feel very normal. No real symptoms apart from massive sore boobs but I've had that pre af before. Still loving food and coffee. Not nauseous at all. In fact am really hungry all the time.

FoscarC · 26/06/2014 09:57

Oh and is be interested to know about the reflexology. I do acupuncture and find all that complimentary medicine stuff fascinating.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 26/06/2014 10:06

Spinning I'm ok with potato/sweet potato and root veg. But pasta is awful, it's the absolute worst thing. I've only had small portions in the last year anyway, but now it's got to go. Brown Rice can take a couple of spoonfuls and limiting seedy bread to no more than 2 slices a day. It's not fun at all. Sad I've known a strict diet was necessary for some time, it's just brought it to a head. I haven't been able to bare cuddles since I was pg with ds, 3 years ago, they just hurt. Worst part is when ds wants to sit on my lap. I can cope with a few moments, but have to sort of hold my breath. So it's not a choice really.

Aprilray · 26/06/2014 10:07

Congratulations Silverine, I have fx for you too.
English hope the next few weeks go nice and quickly for you and you get a nice sticky bean on this bus.
Foscar hope AF stays well away!
MrsE the restrictive diet sounds just awful, you poor thing.
Spinning I have heard great things about reflexology - enjoy your first session. I've just started having acupuncture, have my second session on Tuesday and really looking forward to it.

So, on CD16 I finally got a high from my CBFM - was so happy I nearly did myself an injury jumping around the bedroom and scared the cat half to death. Goodness knows how I will react when I get a peak.

It is pretty quiet at work today so will perform my assistant stats lady duty and do a bit of updating Smile

MrsExtraOrdinary · 26/06/2014 10:12

If it's going to make me better it's a small price to pay. Smile Others live with a lot worse. I do recommend this warm water with lemon though, it's really soothing.

English that's so upsetting for you I'm so sorry. Can you try and push for earlier testing? I know with me they wouldn't til 3, but you've gotten further along and I know in some cases they will start earlier.
Have my appointment tomorrow, I hope they can help me, 6 mcs is taking the piss now :(

Stripping wallpaper is going very sloooooowwwlllllyyyyyyy........2 layers on one part!
This was meant to be the easy room to do!
Ds got off alright. Just said bye mummy bye daddy see you later!
Oh bye then!

MaMaPo · 26/06/2014 10:54

Hello - I have no idea if I am in the right spot so perhaps someone can let me know. I'm TTC #2, only started last month (I guess that means this is cycle 2? and I'd usually be expecting my next period on 18 or 19 July) and really have little idea about the intricacies of conception as #1 came along very quickly.

Feeling a lot more pressure with my conception this time, as everything about #1 (my daughter) was a delight - quick conception, an easy pregnancy, a sleepless but lovely baby and now, a spirited toddler. I'm 36 now and since my daughter was born many friends have had problems with conception, including miscarriages and several ectopics. I guess I feel that last time was 'too easy' and so I'm worrying in advance.

It'd be nice to hang about with people in a similar position, so if I'm not in the right spot please do let me know!

TheGrandHighWitch · 26/06/2014 11:00

Thanks Aprilray, I was meaning to get them updated myself today so you've saved me a job there Smile. Glad to see you've gotten your first high reading, I know how exciting it can be to see your body doing what it is meant to do lol. Fx you get your first peak in the next few days.

Congrats to silverine and so sorry you've had to come back to the busses english. Foscar - fair play on being able to resist poas. I am 6dpo today and getting to the stage where I have to force myself to pee before I can be tempted to break out an ic. That way I am less tempted as there is no fmu Grin.

Last month I had a luteal phase of 11 days which brings my bfp/af date forward to around the 3rd July in theory. Symptom wise has been pretty lacking compared to last month when I had symptoms galore and only af to show for it Hmm. The only promising signs so far are nausea off and on over the last few days. One instance of vomiting (but must be unrelated as not had it since). Pink/brown discharge on wiping in the morning at 4dpo. And creamy cm yesterday. My temps have been all over the place but staying above the coverline at the moment. And I am continuing to do opk's partly to satisfy my need to poas but also for comparative purposes so I can see how my hormones react throughout the month. Planning to poas hpt wise from Monday if all continues as it is.

MaMaPo you are definitely in the right spot don't worry and welcome aboard. We are all a friendly bunch here as like you say, we are in similar positions so it is a great resource to go to when you need reassurance. Most of us don't have people we can speak to in real life apart from husbands/partners etc who don't often understand our concerns in my opinion.

Rainbow555 · 26/06/2014 11:14

Welcome mamapo
april yay that the readings are starting to increase! at least them we know it might be doing the right thing!

Fx thegrand :)
oh and thanks for the stats

In other news..I am now stressing over taking two ibuprofen yesterday as I was desp and now my app decides to tell me that Ibuprofen was perhaps not the wisest..I am really hoping 2 pills didn't screw up this months chances!!

FoscarC · 26/06/2014 11:19

Thanks for your support everyone. I'm finding it particularly hard as dh is away and due to the time difference and the work he's doing out there we can only speak by text messages and never at the same time. So I send him one and he responds hours later. So it's frustrating as I have no one else to talk to.
I'm completely distracted at work today and we have a huge inspection next Thursday and I have loads of work to do for it. But I just keep popping to the loo to check that af hasn't arrived. Today is the day that my period predictor app has me as being due. However I am often a few days either side. But everyday that goes by is a step closer. Just getting really impatient and finding it hard to stay calm. Basically we were on honeymoon over my ov, one week prior and one week post and dtd daily at least once (tmi ?) and I can't imagine another time we will get to dtd that much as we don't live together. So if we don't get a BFP from this cycle will we ever? Unless of course we overdid the dtd this time. But it was our honeymoon. What can I say!!!

FoscarC · 26/06/2014 11:21

And welcome mamapo and apologies in advance as I may go a little mental over the next couple of days whilst I wait for dh to return so I can poas on Monday it Tuesday.
Does it have to be first morning wee? Dh returns late Monday night and I probably won't want to wait until Tuesday morning if I haven't had af yet.

TheGrandHighWitch · 26/06/2014 11:32

FoscarC you shouldn't need to worry about fmu as long as it is as concentrated as possible so hold it as long as you can (ideally 4+ hours) and try not to drink much (which lets face it will help with the holding it bit lol). Other tip would be to ensure you have a twin pack/two + tests handy so you can do one Monday night and a follow up test the next morning as you will probably want to verify the result with fmu either way.

OP posts:
notoasthere · 26/06/2014 12:49

mamapo I feel the same about last time being too easy, hopefully for both if us, it will be worry for nothing.

foscar will be keeping up the positive thoughts for you. If you have a pack of frers, you don't need to worry too much about fmu, just concentrated urine will be fine

Blueskygirl30 · 26/06/2014 13:09

Congratulations Silverine!!

Englishgirl that sounds like you've had a truly awful time. Fx that it was just a one off and that you get a sticky one this time round. You really deserve a bfp!

Foscar good on you for waiting until Hubby gets home, I'm sure he will really appreciate it, I know how tough it can be being in jobs where you go for a while without seeing each other and it can make you feel really lonely when you really need to chat but don't have immediate access to him. I also know what you mean about feeling this is your best chance this month, I've had pretty much the whole month off work so I've been exercising, eating well, sleeping well, relaxing etc. We only DTD 3 times in the 3 days before Ovulation though (as we were still using protection up until then) so I could have increased my odds there but from now on I'll be working hard and I'll be away from home for around 17 days a month, which will probably partly clash with the fertile time so keeping my fx for this being a lucky month, hopefully for everyone!

Grand I planned to wait until Monday too as AF is due on Tuesday. I'm so impatient though, I might have to do one tomorrow morning, even though I'll only be 7dpo.

EnglishGirlsReturned · 26/06/2014 13:28

Everyone I've spoken to said that at my age there's no reason to worry just yet. Could just be a real shit dose of bad luck.
Are you back to Prof Q?? I really hope you get some answers! There's not many of us long termers left!! Surly we'll be soon! Fx for us both!

Wineandchoccy sounds like we've had similar stories. But hopefully this next time will be what we're dreaming of!

I'm looking to the next BFP as 3rd time lucky!! Smile

Siarie · 26/06/2014 13:33

English how old are you if you don't mind me asking, the stats don't say? Sorry to hear about your MC's so far, It's a shame that the system isn't fair some people have to wait a lot longer than others :(

I'm looking forward to participating a lot more here once I'm done with Cerazette next Tuesday, if I'm lucky I will be one of the magical few that don't ever see AF between then and the BFP.
