Thanks spotti :)
Shan't pretend I'm doing okay but I will get there!

Spotti · 02/06/2014 12:50

Think it's safe to say that I'm officially starting the 2ww - I've got really sore and swollen boobs again. Seems to be a recurring post-OV SYMPTOM so I'm not getting even the least bit excited.

Roll on 2 weeks time (actually, only roll it on if it's a BFP, if it's just AF again then tell her I've gone out and she should come back again another day Wink).

Treaclepie19 · 02/06/2014 12:52

Hehe, if it's af spotti you get to spend another month with me!!! Although I'd rather you got your bfp :)

Nordicmom · 02/06/2014 12:58

Treacle sorry for not really getting any help from the doctors . I know how frustrating it all is , I had all the tests and never anything wrong . For myself I've kind lost hope but seem to keep on going at least for a while and I guess then I'll have to try other ways . Haven't been anywhere but to Finland a few times since St Lucia last summer so would be nice to see something new and different . Travelling with dd 2 y is a pain though and have been so unwell and tired this spring that haven't managed to get on with anything.
Feel like I'm stuck in a rut and oh so tired all the time .
MrsE good luck :)!

Nordicmom · 02/06/2014 12:58

... And anyone else testing soon !

Treaclepie19 · 02/06/2014 13:00

Thanks Nordic, it's just I know my lp is short and I don't know if that has an effect.

Oh well. Back to work tomorrow. Trying to catch up a bit but I don't think it will happen!

ChandlersFarang · 02/06/2014 13:15

Genni that's interesting that they do the same in Singapore - had assumed they'd be a bit more 'westernised' than the Thais. Although I guess it's all private there? And rich people want results fast!! Ha ha. Are you living there now? Sorry if I missed this previously. Smile

TheGrandHighWitch · 02/06/2014 13:19

Hi Ihatethetwoweekwait. I think it would be wise to get a different test tbh. I have read a few times that the IC tests aren't as reliable and are not as sensitive as they should be. If you are due a bfp then I would expect either a first response or a clearblue (+- type) test to give you a fairly accurate result by now. I thing the clearblue digital ones aren't as sensitive as the two brands above so I wouldn't recommend that one for you as yet.

Nordicmom · 02/06/2014 13:29

Have to say it's uncanny how this pain in my uterus/ ovary area and lower back started bang on day 5 aft ov like the months I had the suspected early chemicals . Makes me paranoid once again like every cycle . Was trying to just get on with everything else and test on day 14 if no AF ... Guess that's not going to happen then .

hanflan · 02/06/2014 13:44

Treacle That's frustrating that the doctor didn't seem very forthcoming with help/answers. And to suggest that you should go through two more miscarriages before you need any help?! Hardly sensible or kind!
Ah well, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that it was a one off and you'll get another bfp before too long. This time with an extra sticky bean Flowers

Treaclepie19 · 02/06/2014 14:01

Thanks hanflan, i wasn't very impressed.

All mu doctors seem uninterested in fertility. I think they just don't know enough about it to be honest.

Ihatethetwoweekwait · 02/06/2014 14:01

Thanks Thegrandhighwitch, I think I'm going to wait and see if AF pops up tomorrow and then test again.

Treacle, maybe you should go and see a different doctor, the advice doesn't sound very helpful.

gennibugs · 02/06/2014 14:08

Spinning I normally ovulate cd 11/12 so similarish to you. (Last month the pregnacare delayed me but Im hoping its out of my system this month).
It comes round so quick doesnt it! This month Im determined to keep going for a bit longer, we seem to come to an abrupt halt as soon as I think Ive ovd.

Chandlers I used to live in Singapore. Now back in the UK. My sister now lives there and we laugh at how heavy handed the system is out there, but I guess if you are paying then you want fast results. Just a bit concerting when you go in with a bit of a sore throat and come out armed with a prescription for 12 different things!! But for fertility thats a great thing - get referred quick and everything out of the way tests why. Can I say how much I LOVE Bangkok. DH is desperate to do a stint there but Im not too sure, Im settled now back home but I guess never say never! 

Treacle that is so frustrating. Imagine being expected to go through that 3 times :( 

TheGrandHighWitch · 02/06/2014 14:39

No problem Ihatethetwoweekwait.

I am starting to feel this 2ww now. 6dpo and still having symptoms that are pointing to a BFP but the sceptic in me is arguing against it lol. I'm still bloated, have sore breasts, sometimes nauseous. I am also cramping slightly every day and am still more tired than usual. And TMI alert but I had discharge in my underwear yesterday that looks ever so slightly reddish/brown so am kind of thinking it's implantation bleeding but again the cynic in me is convinced I am imagining it. Trying to resist the temptation to start testing every morning until I know either way.

Treaclepie19 · 02/06/2014 15:00

Thank you everyone, the doctor was of the opinion that since I got pregnant my lp wasn't a problem.
I don't know if this is right? Especially since I've read it can mean low progesterone and your lining won't be thick enough and so on.

I may go to another doctor anyway.

MrsBeeBeeBee · 02/06/2014 16:17

I'd go to another doctor Treacle. It's awful they've dismissed you like that. Hope you get your sticky bean soon xx

I'm 12DPO and got some really sharp foof pain. Can't remember if this is normal before AF or not!

Treaclepie19 · 02/06/2014 16:26

I think I will, thanks MrsBee :)

Sounds a good symptom to me!

Aprilray · 02/06/2014 16:46

I would too treacle, it's amazing the different advice/treatment you can get from one GP to another.

Hang in there grandhighwitch - your symptoms sound so promising. I have bloating, tiredness and cramping. No more nausea though and keep touching my boobs to see if they are sore when no one is looking but nada.

xBlueberry88x · 02/06/2014 16:47

Afternoon Ladies,

Wheres the BFP'S?

Im living through you lot!!

Treacle Is it worth getting a second/third opinion doctors never seem to be very helpful these days. My doctor is blunt and matter of fact but she gets things done luckily.

Sorry I havent read back fully massive migraine coming.

Random question- seeing as im not ovulating should I be getting Lucas? Cd 12 today and felt fairly wet earlier tmi

pocopearl · 02/06/2014 16:48

Damn either implantation is occurring on 11dpo or af is about to rear her ugly head

hanflan · 02/06/2014 16:51

blueberry do you know if you get a slight LH surge? Because your body might be trying to ovulate but not quite getting there, which would explain the lucas? If you don't usually get any lucas, I would jump on DH quickly! haha

poco I'm voting for pregnancy spotting Wink

xBlueberry88x · 02/06/2014 16:56

Hanflan The first month was definately no ovulation and the next to were in the doctors words equivocal???

She said it was to low to be ovulation but I do get cm and regular cycles which is why I never thought i wasnt ovulating.

The last two months I have had what I thought were ovulation symptoms including stabby pain on one side, bleeding and cramps etc.

Weve dtd the last three days and wont see him tonight so ill get him tomorrow as well lol.

Spotti · 02/06/2014 17:00

Treacle - I'll spend the next month with you regardless, hun! >hugs

TheGrandHighWitch · 02/06/2014 17:01

Thanks Aprilray, I am trying to hold off as long as I can. Agree the signs are quite promising so far, my boobs are sore all day (usually very painful at night when I take off my bra when approaching af) but on the other hand the veins in them aren't as prominent as they have been in previous pg's. Saying that, I did feel the urge to cover my stomach/abdomen while waiting for my eldest to come out of school earlier. I felt like I was exposed somehow and covering up helped. The last time I had that I was pg with my youngest so who knows lol. At least my temps are staying up which is helping to re-assure me that I am not imagining things.

Your symptoms sound good so far. FX we both get the results we want.

Treaclepie19 · 02/06/2014 17:08

Thanks Spotti :)
