Stupid 3am poasing

sparkle17 · 02/06/2014 05:01

I've been using an app to track my cycles for a while. It was one of the top free apps when I first got a smart phone. In Jamaica right now. So happy to be starting this journey of ttc. Bfp will be due 23rd june.

ChandlersFarang · 02/06/2014 05:07

Got an appointment tomorrow morning, phew. Typical Thailand being as subtle as a sledgehammer, I go into the hospital (no GPs here, everything's done in hospitals) and say 'can I see a doc about my cycles' and they send me straight to the infertility/IVF department! Cheers!! WinkGrin

ChandlersFarang · 02/06/2014 05:09

Poco I hear ya on the long cycles!! But go to sleep!! Grin Fx for a BFP soon...

Sparkle sounds fab!! Fingers crossed (Fx) for you... would be a lovely story if you pull it off straight away! Smile

10 dpo may still be too early for a cheapie, try not to worry yet poco !

Slight drama this morning when I went to take my BBT temp-the battery had died! Just when I wanted to check on the third day if my temp had risen for ovulation, Arrrgh! Sent DH on a mission to find another battery (this early!) and he did bless him! Temp went down .01 of a degree since yesterday but still high enough for FF to say I ovulation three days ago. I'm going by that Chandlers so sod the stupid people on the Internet and their scaremongering Grin

Wish GPs and hospitals in the UK where more proactive when it comes to fertility and cycles, though. I'd have loved, the past two cycles, for a GP to take me seriously and/or see specialists such as OB/GYNs like they do in America, but on the bright side, once we are upduffed and we all will be it doesn't cost us a thing. (being far too philosophical this early in the morning!)

spinningirl10 · 02/06/2014 06:22

Morning Grin

Ooh MrsE, how exciting and fx for you as well.

Sparkle, welcome and congratulations on your wedding. Where are you on your honeymoon?

Poco, 3am poas!!! Try again when you're awake properlyGrin

Chandler, that's amazing, why can't appointments be easier here.

ChandlersFarang · 02/06/2014 07:11

Yeah I'm just realising I'm really lucky to be out here with health insurance/ability to go to a private hospital about my cycles! As I'm only really in my first 6 months of ttc, and has all been out here, I have zero experience of trying for help via the NHS. I think if have to wait for a year though right?! Or if you have a suspicion your cycles are anovulatory/not normal in some way, will they see you earlier?

Will let you know how I get on. The Thais generally throw tons of medication at any problem - am assuming they will go down that road, so wondering what they will give me!! Will have google at the ready just incase it's something we wouldn't recommend at home..!

Aprilray · 02/06/2014 07:55

Will be interesting to hear what they say out there Chandlers. I was at the GP here last week and mentioned we'd been trying for 6 cycles and just got the usual it can take up to a year and also that the average woman doesn't ovulate around twice a year.

My temps have rocketed to 37.08...if I don't post again it's cos I've spontaneously combusted.

hanflan · 02/06/2014 09:26

Morning all! *MrsE I do hope you poas.... tell us tell us!
And pocopearl you too, hope you get a nice clear line this morning.

Currently 7dpo, looking out for any sign of implantation! This is symptom spotting at it's worst. "Ooooh a tiny twinge in my abdomen, that'll be my little blastocyst implanting!"

gennibugs · 02/06/2014 09:50

ha the thais sound like the singaporeans chandlers - you go in for a headache and come out with an appointment for a head scan. still the standard of care is excellent and you do get seem very quickly don't you. Hopefully you get some answers
I popped onto see if mrsE had poas yet or not Smile

cd6 here and nothing exciting - just limbering up for smep from tomorrow. I ov early so starting it a bit earlier than suggested....

MrsExtraOrdinary · 02/06/2014 09:58

Well it's nearly 10am and af still hasn't arrived. I have an empty house Brew the peace and quiet is just lovely. Which makes this cd37. No sign, not even spotting! So that's 9 days since we dtd. I'm going to give it until tomorrow to poas. I have so far resisted with no sticks! -Wink

Dh is all excited! Bless him. We've hated each other all month Grin

Treaclepie19 · 02/06/2014 10:00

Haha MrsE, POAS (pee on some bleach)!!!

Treaclepie19 · 02/06/2014 10:01

Grr stupid auto correct. I was trying to say POSB!

lindamagoo · 02/06/2014 10:07

Oh MrsE it's all getting very exciting Smile

pocopearl · 02/06/2014 10:10

Im pretty sure my 3am one and my 7am ones are evap lines... maybe wait until tomorrow.
goes off to poas again

freneticfox · 02/06/2014 10:23

So tomorrow is the day I'm expected to see my dear old AF. And today I feel very hot, bothered and generally rubbish which is by and large normal for me hormonally.

Would very much like to crawl back into bed!

spinningirl10 · 02/06/2014 10:54

Genni, what day do you ov? I ov early, usually get positive opk cd 10/11 so at the weekend for me Grin

spinningirl10 · 02/06/2014 10:56

Poco, maybe not Evap lines, fxGrin

laurano81 · 02/06/2014 12:10

Hi all I hope everyone is ok Smile I must catch up later by reading the thread over the last few days..Good luck to all those waiting for a BFP! xx

Nordicmom · 02/06/2014 12:21

Hi! I still need to read back but have caught up on the last few days.
5 dpo here and just started to cramp and have lower back pain like before around this time . Breasts somewhat tender but seem to have that before af anyway . Trying to plan the summer hols, ds has 9 w ! Off school . Luckily dd goes to nursery now 2 d a week I think I'd loose it otherwise in that time... Haven't booked anything but have rough plans for 6/9 . Staring at flights and resorts ATM . Have been feeling low last few months and can't decide what to do. Have narrowed it down now to a few options so hopefully can soon book and then proceed with the rest of the weeks ...
Am going to book somewhere I can still go to if we should be so lucky so no vaccinations , malaria tablets etc but prob will brave the longhaul flight with dd 2y...

Ihatethetwoweekwait · 02/06/2014 12:32

Hi, I would be really grateful if you could let me know what you think. AF due yesterday, nothing but BFN on IC. This morning, a small amount of pink blood on toilet paper when wiping and a little light brown discharge but nothing else, sorry if tmi. Still BFN although there was a definite line after 20 minutes but no colour to it (IC) so probably an evap. Normally I would probably think AF has got me, but I feel like I'm going to throw up constantly. Felt like this Sat as well although was fine most of Sunday. I haven't been sick and am still eating. Any thoughts, do you think I maybe just have a stomach bug. I know I should probably buy a FRER to be sure but don't want to waste money and fed up of BFNs!! I would have thought it would show up on an IC by now. Stats are TTC #1 cycle 7 and normal cycle is 26 days.

Treaclepie19 · 02/06/2014 12:33

Been to the doctors, she isn't concerned about my luteal phase. She said if I have 3 miscarriages in a row we will look into things more deeply.
Erm. Great.

Sounds lovely Nordic :) it will be lovely for you to get away.

Spotti · 02/06/2014 12:47

That's a bit pants treacle! Suppose if the doctors aren't concerned then there's no need for you to be concerned (yeah right, like it's that easy to 'just relax'). Hope you're doing ok though now x
