Hahahahaha lil that made me chuckle. Grin

DH was very into TTC (I wonder why Blush) and he is very interested in this bean when he has had a drink but when sober he doesn't mention it at all! Even if I bring it up he doesn't say much! And as for looking at due dates and reading what it looked like etc, he has no idea!!!

Is everyone else's dp's/ dh's like mine or like lulus? I'm well jel!!!!

LuluJakey1 · 10/05/2014 23:03

I hope so too Cupcake Fingers crossed.

I know, I know girls, am lucky with DH but honestly he is maddening. Sometimes, I say to him ' Don't talk to me while I'm reading/ working/ watching this'. I can guarantee he will be talking to me within a minute. There are nights when he can't sleep and he will wake me up at 2 or 3 am to talk to me about nothing that needs saying at that time.
DH whispers 'Lu'
Me Ignores him.
DH cuddles into me and whispers loudly 'Lu are you awake'
Me 'I wasn't'
DH ' I can't sleep. I was just thinking'.
And he's off - one night it was about an article he'd read in The New Yorker archive about a man who had been found guilty of setting fire to his house with his children in it, in America somewhere and had got the death penalty and how this writer had researched it and it seemed he wasn't guilty and the investigation had been flawed. It was actually really interesting and I read the article the next day but why couldn't he have told me about it then? Luckily we are both good on not much sleep! Some women would kill him if he did that.

Cupcake92 · 11/05/2014 03:51

Bless lulu! My DH wakes me up in the night as well..... He says 'Chlo, chlo...' Till I wake up n say 'what?'
'Im just going to the toilet ok?'

-_-

Ladies and gentleman .... My DH!
Lol! Such a boob.
Tonight it's DS that's w

Trying out the digital OPKs this month- no smiley face yet and feeling impatient!

Femshep · 11/05/2014 08:43

Sorry to hear that Kitkat Sad . Sounds very similar to what happened to me a couple of weeks ago Sad .

Starting ttc in earnest this evening, but DH hasn't got the highest libido so I could see it taking a while. Hopefully not though Smile .

LuluJakey1 · 11/05/2014 08:46

Sorry KitKat! But you never know until AF arrives or doesn't. 5 days early testing - hormones could show by then. Keep your chins up - as my granny used to say.

Greeneyes5 · 11/05/2014 08:49

Aww c

Greeneyes5 · 11/05/2014 08:50

Awww congrats Lulu!!!

I think take another test in a while kitkat - fingers crossed for you x

My Af came in the early hours so I'm out this month :-(

LuluJakey1 · 11/05/2014 08:51

What about you Greeneyes? Have you poas yet?

LuluJakey1 · 11/05/2014 08:51

Sorry crossed posts!

LuluJakey1 · 11/05/2014 08:53

Thanks Greeneyes. Am still in shock I think. Have done another POAS just to check. DH now looking smug as if it is all down to him.

Hibou7688 · 11/05/2014 09:04

Eurgh.. af three days late - no symptoms of anything except for a sharp stabby pain on fri and slightly sore boobs last night. Bfn on cheapies yesterday Hmm cd40 now! Will read back up now, hope there's been some bfps!

poppet85 · 11/05/2014 09:43

Your be more prepared next time greeneyes to get you bfp !! Fx crossed kitkat ,your still early for testing plenty of time to get your bfp !!
Know what you mean popple we've still got a few days to go until ov , are you trying every other day ?

poppet85 · 11/05/2014 09:57

Hibou what lengths are your cycles normally ?

Hibou7688 · 11/05/2014 10:33

Well they have gradually gotten longer but last couple of months had settled at 37/38 days. I guess cd40 isn't massively late but normally I get cramps and lots of gas (tmi!!!) In the couple of days before.

MrsPopple29 · 11/05/2014 10:39

Sorry to hear that kitkat and greeneyes...

Hibou, that's a really long cycle! Don't give up hope for a BFP just yet... Smile

Poppet, yes we're trying every other day (started as soon as AF finished), but then two or three days in a row when I ovulate. You?

Fem, what cycle day are you on?

Waffleyversatile · 11/05/2014 10:45

had a real weepy melt down this am. cycle normally 25-26 day but today cd29 bfn and still no sign of AF. got my solid smiley on ovulation stick on cd12 so I def think im not pregnant. im imagining all sorts like menopause and everything. I just want to crawl under a rock.

poppet85 · 11/05/2014 10:51

That is a long cycle hibou must be frustrating !! Yeah think we'll be trying that as well I still havent comitted to using opks yet !! But no doubt will cave tomorrow !!

MrsPopple29 · 11/05/2014 11:05

Waffley, sorry you're feeling so low. I completely sympathise! The last time I felt like that, someone said to me 'When you hear the sound of galloping, think horse not zebra'. I didn't get it at first but basically means when you're worried about something, don't assume the more unlikely thing (i.e. menopause/something going wrong) is happening to you... TTC is stressful at the best of times and it can really affect your cycle, so try not to worry too much! And look on the bright side, some people don't get their BFPs til way after AF is due.

Hope you feel better soon :)

lillamyy1 · 11/05/2014 11:10

Aww waffle, I'm sure it's just the extra stress of ttc - that often messes up people's cycles. Sorry to greeneyes and hibou too Thanks

poppet85 · 11/05/2014 11:34

Waffley Ive felt like that before .After cycle 1 and AF turned up ,straight away I was looking up all things that could possibly be wrong with me or DH ,in truth theres probably no much wrong but ttc takes longer than people think .You only hear when someone gets pregnant not what tricks/timetable/tests they went through to get there .
Having said that popple is right maybe its to soon to pick up on tests ?

poppet85 · 11/05/2014 11:40

A few years ago I had a minor op after recieving some results following a smear test , I know this wont affect fertility but has left me with some scarring and I do worry how this affects ttc ? Anyone got any experience of this ?

LuluJakey1 · 11/05/2014 12:11

I have had it Poppet. Twice had treatment after dodgy smear test results- loop biopsies to remove abnormal cells- and once had hysteroscopy to remove polyp. Also have fibroids. Consultant said the loop biopsy leaves scarring but nothing that will affect conception/pregnancy.
Also, have under- active thyroid and am rh- So am feeling worried but GP has said all pefectly controllable. Have annual blood tests for Thyroid. Will have to have them monthly I think, now, for. next few months. And will have to have an injection twice of something for rh- thing- later on.
