The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Hi Carly, I'm no opk expert but I think using too many types will just lead to lots of confusion for you. I used a cheapie opk and a superdrug one on the same day, got a faint line on the cheapie and a stronger one of the superdrug but neither officially positive. But dtd anyway and got upduffed. I guess what I'm trying to say is if there's even a whiff of a line then just crack on with dtd if you can! And stick to one type of opk maybe? X

marshmallowpies · 22/05/2014 21:04

Got 2 pretty strong pink lines on my opk today, after it being negative yesterday/this morning. DH gets another early night tonight! Grin

This has cheered me up no end, but a friend who had a MC a couple of weeks after me has to go back into hospital for more removal of tissue. Feel so sorry that she's had so many complications when my MC didn't need any medical management at all. Fingers crossed for all of you looking out for those pink lines too!

Welcome newbies!

Giraffe I've never had the mid cycle bleed but think I would get excited if I did too!

Carly I think it means you will ov in 24-48 hrs ... that's how I understand it??

GailLondon · 23/05/2014 06:18

I'm guessing probably no-one else is up yet this morning but bloody hell!
No need for canyouseealine here, that's a BFP!

Morning gang! Well, it's Friday ... where are the POASers? Sadly I am out for this month so I didn't test this morning, af arrived yesterday afternoon after a very crampy morning so I wasn't surprised. Didn't get any PMT rage this month though, which is highly unusual. If nothing else, I will be glad if my mc has solved my mood swing issues for me (and I'm sure dh will be happy too - I'm usually on the brink of stabbing him the day before af comes!)
It means I had a 26 day cycle which is shorter than I had hoped, but probably I'm still getting back to normal - whatever that is. Miscarriage certainly is the gift that keeps on giving.
I'm looking at the positives - I've got a week off work next week so I can have a guilt free glass or three of wine Grin
Good luck to the rest of you!

Hi LittleMiss, had an early scan yesterday... Saw a sac but not much else. Sac measured at 4-5 weeks, got to wait 3 weeks for another scan, when hopefully we'll be able to see more! Scared shitless if I'm honest! Want to sleep for the next few weeks

Sorry the witch got you office but enjoy your week off and some well earned Wine x

Triplespin · 23/05/2014 08:12

Yay Gail!! Brilliant news and that is a cracker of a line. It's a very good start indeed as it means you already have enough hcg for the frer to show such a dark line.

English - hope the 3 weeks fly quickly!! All the best

Office - sorry that AF got you. What a bummer.

Hope everyone else is well. Where are sebs, sal, holly?

Sorry I have been lurking recently. I have had some diagnoses for my 2 mc and so now we were also getting back to TTC. This is my first cycle post mc and on cd 19 but no positive on opk so far though plenty of ewcm. We are going with every 2 days until ewcm dries up. Normally opks work very well for me but not this month. Joys of post mc cycle!

TallGiraffe · 23/05/2014 08:15

Well it doesn't look like it was IB, period seems to be arriving Sad Hope that doesn't mean I'm back to screwed up cycles.

GailLondon · 23/05/2014 08:16

Thanks everyone! Flipping over the moon and so is hubby. Only 12dpo today so pleasantly surprised to see such a good line come up straight away, those FRER's really are good!

MrsGingerbread · 23/05/2014 08:21
