The appointment went really well.
It wasn't with the consultant - that's next month - but because of MN I am so much more educated with what is going on and I can ask intelligent questions!!

Before I just accepted everything.

I'm CD12 so didn't bother taking my egg-releasing-jab with me as I ov late.
The lovely nurse measured my follicles and I had one at 19mm and a couple at 14mm - a massive surprise!
She advised having the jab (and gave me a free one - hurrah!! £9 odd saved!!! ) so we now need to get on with it!!!!

Perhaps my follicles are just too big and reduced quality by the time they come out??!!
I don't know but she was very pleased with them (?!) and knew all about LPD and we have a quick chat about that.

Another massive bonus was that the scan wasn't uncomfortable either.....must have loosened up since having my ds!!! (Sorry FTMI!!!!)

I am so please I went today and I feel in control which is fab!!!

Got visitors staying with us though tomorrow and the next few days...so some very quiet BDing going on at Coggy's place!!!

Thank you all again for thinking of me.....I have to admit I had a little cry when I read this thread!!!

Ah...thank you Babymad.

When I first joined MN I was in awe of all these people who knew each other and I never thought that I would be involved in many converstaions or anything as I was really new and felt like everyone knew each other.

I was very in awe of Trace and wannaBe and a few others who I thought were MN!!!

Although I would rather not have been on the ttc threads for so many months (!!!) it's so nice to feel part of it all and I have been really touched by people's thoughts and wishes over the past week.

I feel like I have made some good friends and MN is an excellent place to get support and advice (even though my DH thinks I am completely barking for talking to virtual people!!!!!!
