Coggy - so glad your appointment went well! Crossing everything for you this time

Hugs,
Artoo.

Coggy so glad your appt went well- good luck with the bd' ing over the next few days...Lol at the ' quiet' nature required...no screaming or swinging from light fittings.....

I know what you mean about MN- I joined in July- so still new and had lurked for ages b4 that thinking I would be unwelcome or whatever. The opp is true.
When did you join?
x

Angsthase · 24/08/2006 08:57

Hurrah - a bding bank holiday. My idea of fun
Glad it went well. Aparantly you have to tell your DH you need multiple orgasm's to ensure a BFP, so good luck with doing that - quietly

MrsMcJnr · 24/08/2006 09:34

Coggy, I am so pleased to hear that it went well!

I really know nothing compared to you about these things - you lost me on the egg-releasing-jabs and the follicle measurements I'm afraid but I think that means that you have currently got 2 eggs competing to be the "one" this month (you could get them both!!).

Ply your guests with booze, they'll sleep deeply and you and DH can get down to business! Everything crossed for you, hope this is your special month!!

Natty1806 · 24/08/2006 12:22

Glad it went well, fingers crossed this month . x

melrose · 24/08/2006 14:29

So glad to hear it went well for you Coggy! I also have visitors this weekend, and as am on CD12 now, will ahve to ensure we find time for some quiet BD ing too! (and ensure DH stays sober enough to perform!!)

MrsMcJnr · 24/08/2006 15:03

Have to empathise with all of you with visitors, we STILL have the relative from Oz, he was meant to stay one night and is still here - its like You, Me and Dupree in our house

andi0411 · 24/08/2006 15:09

Mrsmc- you make me lmao!!! Do you and dh come downstairs to find' duprees' hairy ass poking out the duvet????? Classic.
I also work alone- 90 %of the time anyway and it can get lonely- but it had it's advantages- no annoying colleagues/ boss and plenty of MN!!

MrsMcJnr · 24/08/2006 15:11

Hell no, yuck!! he does shower at 4.30am though and disappear for a nap just as I dish up dinner!! I agree, there are lots of upsides of working alone and I love the flexibility but I think you let your troubles get on top of you more because you spend too much time alone, I am a people's person I guess. Love this site, really helps me!!

andi0411 · 24/08/2006 15:20

Yes Ikwym- no one to really share probs with and vasts amount of time on your own is hard. My dp works 12 hr days too, so that's a problem sometimes as we're both knackered.... I think I am a people person too my prob was that the office I was stationed in was full of quite bitchy women and when I could finally work from home I was relieved.

Booboobedoo · 24/08/2006 17:07

Bite that pillow coggy! Make those pesky eggs work for you!

As for the Dupree reference, Owen Wilson can come and sleep on my sofa in his thong whenever he so desires.

MrsMcJnr · 25/08/2006 09:09

Well Andi, we can always talk to each other then. Do you use the CAT?

Booboobedoo - are you serious about Owen Wilson? Thongs are banned from my couch no matter who is wearing them!!

For all of you with visitors - remember, it could be worse, could be AF!!

andi0411 · 25/08/2006 12:13

Hi Mrs MC- I haven't used Cat- how do you do it? We could keep each other company on the lonely, lonely days when I should be working but am not.

MrsMcJnr · 25/08/2006 12:40

Like today (really should be working right now!). I think CAT is like a private messenger on some sites. I have never used it before, think it is £5 for the year - or else we can continue to chat on all these threads!

WantAbabyNOW · 27/08/2006 08:07

Coggy.... I think you are just about the only person to have a thread dedicated to them![WINK] People are just checking in for any knicker references! Just kidding. We are all very eager to hear your progress and want a bfp from you immediately! [GRIN]

Isnt it funny how people always want to stay at inconvenient times?? My SIL from England came to stay when we got married, for a whole month. DH parents have booked our spare room to come and stay when bubs is due. Going to be akward as dh wants me to rbeast feed and I dont think I wanna be whipping the girls out in front of his mum and dad! People also like to show up around birthdays when you have already made plans!

Oh well.... family are great... shouldnt complain!

Angsthase · 29/08/2006 12:06

Coggy - what's the update on your w/e of BD'ing??

MrsMcJnr · 29/08/2006 12:18

Wanta - you made me laugh re whipping the girls out! . If it were me I'd be saying a firm no to guests until the baby was at least a month old - I know my sister felt more stressed out by worrying about the baby waking sleeping relatives than she was about herself and the baby. Mind you, I am just recovering from a week (well 5 nights) of occupation!

coggy · 29/08/2006 15:50

Well my BDing was potentially a disater but I think I pulled it back at the last minute!!!!

Had the ball-releasing-jab on Weds.......makes you ov. 36 hours later.

BDed on the jab day.....would have been a good attempt but I didn't use any pree-seed as I was swimming in lubricant that they used for the internal scan (nice!!)....so that probably killed everything off!!!

Best day to BD was the Thurs........however DH kept giglling as we had visitors......I was NOT giggling as you can imagine!!!!
So a disater there.

Then we managed a good pre-seeded go on the Friday which would still be a good day I think......so.....we'll see!!

coggy · 29/08/2006 15:52

Wanta....my FIL came down as soon as I went into labour!!

I knew he was going to (first grandchild and all) so I bought a three piece pyjama set to look feminine yet well and truely covered!!!!!

WantAbabyNOW · 09/09/2006 12:06

Lol cogs... my fil will be there with the video camera saying something very crude I am sure...

BTW He is a pom... lol

DH is just as crude.

Had an internal scan yesterday to see bubs and dh has not stopped talking about shoving that thing up there since!

coggy · 09/09/2006 12:10

HURRAH!!!

I only asked Natty if she had heard from you yesterday!!!

Sooo nice to hear from you.
How exciting to see your bub already.
I had an internal scan with my ds at 7 weeks....DH couldn't get time off work and I had to bite my lip not to cry when I saw the fluttering heart!!!

It's all real now eh??!!
FAB news.

WantAbabyNOW · 09/09/2006 12:15

Yup.. its def real. The baby has a very long umbilical though, which I am sure will be ok. Had this scan as had tiny bleeding when wiping.. (TMI) just once though but am SO paranoid!

Have not been on here much as can not sit in one place for long.. nausea sucks.

Will have to find Natty.....

Miss you guys!!!

Cant wait for the next scan.. when it has more body parts!

coggy · 09/09/2006 12:25

I think you are very sensible to be cautious about the bleed.
It doesn't hurt....doesn't cost them too much time or money and puts your mind at rest.

I liked the next scan best as you can see all of the baby.
When it gets to the 20 week scan you can only see bits at a time as it doesn't fit on in one go!!!
We got a lovely picture of our DS's leg on the 20 week scan and that was it pretty much!!!!!!

WantAbabyNOW · 09/09/2006 12:39

I think our next one is at 19 weeks... but might convince doctor to let me have another one at 13 weeks or so...

Will be on school holidays then and will be bored...lol

coggy · 09/09/2006 12:42

LOL!
I could have got quite adicted to the sacns myself!!!

I had one at 7 weeks.
One at 12 weeks.
Two at 22 weeks and
two at 23 weeks.................I think those are the right dates....but I had to have several because my ds would not face the right way and I had to keep going back to try again!!!!!
