That's my girl treacle! Always stood by the theory that more sex equals more chances of a BFP and a marathon shagathon helps me think that we've done all we can. Shame I didn't ovulate till CD24 last cycle and ended up walking like John Wayne towards the end

I was reading a study from an American medical journal which said although Doctors used to recommended every other day, a 10 year study showed that every day from about CD9 to a couple of days after ovulation, had the better results. Partly due to newer sperm, less exposure to "toxins" (can't remember what they called it) and better chance of good timing.

Partly why I am so gutted DH has just left for his trip-scared of ovulating tomorrow or Sunday and relying on older swimmers. Talk some sense into me ladies!!!

I think I'm the only dipstick who got to ov and stopped shagging. Dh is most annoyed as I'm on strike now! It really does amaze me he's got to the ripe old age of 40 already, has a family and knows absolutely NOTHING about conception, pg or birth!

Right. Talk some sense into me. I'm about 5 minutes past ovulation (well, 3 dpo actually) and having POAS withdrawal symptoms. I have a zillions of different pg tests in the house and feel reeeeeaaally drawn to them. Someone tell me off, quick!

Genni I wasn't secret about my crossness! so well done you. But that didn't help either we managed 5,6,7,10,12,13,14 and then stopped. Got my smily on morning of 14. I was more annoyed with bothering to test ov daily, dh took the vits but when it came to dtd said he was tired. Wtf. I think this has added to the problem of ttc. Not only do I have health issues he just isn't into sex really. He did amazingly well to start with for him.

I used to think all men were obsessed but the older ive got the more I've realised that's a myth. I'm not very good at being turned down either. I sort get all rejected stupid I know, but I can't help it!

Going by that theory, genni, we're doomed too. DH and I have managed to DTD CD 12,16,22 and 27. Oh, and this morning . I think I've just been too gross and snotty to even contemplate it

FF is telling me I ovulated on CD 24 though so I'm hoping DH had enough pent up swimmers on day 22 to have done the trick! We'll see in another week I guess.

I was going well with the 'pounding' (thanks for that one mademoiselle - made me laugh) until I got fed up at no +ve OPK and GAVE UP. Next month just going to go for it. Like superwoman. Every single fucking day. IF TREACLE CAN DO IT SO CAN I.

Mademoiselle after my poas addiction last month ivd managed to kick the habit. I don't have a test in the house at all. I'm 8dpo and I won't be testing at all. I'm cured!

Is it true sperm lives up to 7 days inside girly bits? I don't know where I read that, but it gave me a bit of hope.

Why don't you start your shagging marathon a bit later in your cycle MrsE? That way DH won't be shattered when it gets to the important bit?? Also think sperm live up to 7days but that's only the really good ones in a perfect environment.

Well, turns out FF only told me I ov'd on the 22nd as I lied and put in a +ve OPK that I didn't actually do .

Having taken that out it now thinks I ov'd on the 18th and am due AF tomorrow (CD 32). Humph. Fuck knows. I'll test in a week if there's still no sign. Normally I'd be super twitchy and peeing on everything by now, but I thought I'd ov'd late and so was pretty chilled. Now I still think I was late, but I'm thrown into doubt by an automated app. .

Creme egg time. I'm running out now
