So I couldn't find a May thread, so I thought I'd start one for all of us who have dropped off the April thread.

Aunty arrived this morning so I 've just started cycle 4. TTC #2. Just had a long cycle so if this is the same length my most fertile time will be over Easter weekend.

So I might go all pagan and invoke some Spring fertility goddess. Or something. Or piss on some sticks.

after the possibly false solid smiley on cd 10 and 2 days of blank circles I have a flashy smiley this morn. so im either 3dpo or on cd 13..... im not a happy bunny this morning [tbumad]

Thanks for the welcome. That is so frustrating kurama. It would be so much easier if our bodies would just make sense. At one point last cycle I was doing opk's and hpt's because I had no idea if I'd ov'd yet or not. Turns out I'd helpfully ov'd while I had thrush. Grrrr. At least give me a chance body!

I took codeine at 5am. It's the only way I will get through today. It's bound to be a bad one as I got off way to lightly last month. I'd really like to go back to bed with a hottie lmao (as my mum used to call it) but will have to power on as work deadlines are massive and deliveries collections throughout the day. Im cd8 and classing my positive opk result yesterday as a bit of an error. DTD this morning anyway though.

If it was an accurated positive then my bfp is due much sooner and I'm having a very strange cycle.

I'm in a very positive mood about this month even if I don't get my bfp my best friend has decided to keep her baby, going against a lot of people's wishes but doing what is right for her, very proud of her

Divorced with 3 dc under 8, skint, tiny house, nightmare ex who told me I'd make everyone's life a living hell if I had the baby, which was the final straw. It was the last time anyone tried to dictate my life. Life got so much better from that point. I had the birth I chose and the life I chose. With friends like you it will be so much easier for her

kurama - I would say the solid smiley was false and you should go with the new flasher. As soon as you get a solid smiley it should stay there for 48 hours and you shouldn't be able to test during that time. MrsE it must have been a tough time for you, I know it has been for my friend and she only has 1 ds. I believe 100% she can do this without his help and her family will come round eventually and I will never let her down. And I think her life will be so much better now that she's chose the path she wants to go down

Kurama you aren't supposed to keep testing when you have had solid smiley or the sticks will think it's a new cycle. Just dtd like a crazy person for 48 hours or so... as I think it stays fixed for two days indicating you will ov in those 2 days... People ov as early as CD 6 so maybe you are an early ovulater!
