So I couldn't find a May thread, so I thought I'd start one for all of us who have dropped off the April thread.

Aunty arrived this morning so I 've just started cycle 4. TTC #2. Just had a long cycle so if this is the same length my most fertile time will be over Easter weekend.

So I might go all pagan and invoke some Spring fertility goddess. Or something. Or piss on some sticks.

Test line has gone even darker after 3 mins......

I've been symptom spotting for the last few days, I've had a dull ache around my pubic area, the occasional twinge, feeling a bit queasy, hot flushes, a breakout of spots (but put that down to chocolate) and feeling a bit spacey!!!
This afternoon I have a water infection ffs!

Get DTD then toothache! Might be a dodgy OPK that's just being weird...but just in case its actually showing you're about to OV, I'd pounce on OH now and be done with it .

Hotcross - sounds promising! ! Although urine infections are rubbish. But also a promising sign.

I do get reoccurring water infections a lot anyway, and I'm putting the symptoms down to the water infection. I normally have those symptoms pre infection, also I thought it was a bit soon for symptoms I don't get AF until 3rd may.

Can I jump on please? I’ve been lurking on the buses for ages, but can finally get on board! TTC #1, Cycle 1, BFP due 16th May I think, although cycles haven’t been all that consistent since coming off pill in January.

Not really expecting much success this early on – I am pushing 33, DH is in his 40s, and there is a chance he may have fertility issues due to some health problems in recent years – and I am fully expecting to be hanging around here for months to come – but it feels so good to finally be able to officially start trying! (and hoping all the hints and tips I have been picking up here will come in handy along the way…)

ive never seen lines like that on an ic!!! so thats what it looks like lol. still getting the same cramps as last month but a week early, so ive decided to dtd as if it is actually a + result on cb digi but continue testing just in case ahhhh just on laptop so im using it

Well it looks as though cervical Lucas has finally left me so I'm now left wondering if my opk was wrong and I ovulated late (if at all) or if af is coming early. Hmmmm this sucks

I have my second flashing smiley but we are dtd every second day to cover all bases. I should ovulate between Saturday and Monday so we shall keep going until im sure its happened.

Hi all, jumping on board.

My stats are theduchesse ttc#2 cycle 5 bfp due 21st may.

Well my app says my bfp is due on 21st May anyway, it could really be due anytime, I've had 2 almost 60 day cycles and the last one was 40 days but my app is still obsessed with me being a normal 28dayer! I'm really hoping this most recent shorter cycle means I might be getting back to normal. It's so frustrating only getting a shot once every 2 months.

Hope you're doing ok. I gave been taking a 'back seat' as I haven't been feeling too well. I have had severe cramping/bloating around ovulation for a few months now and think something is wrong seeing my GP tomorrow.

Quick stats review as I am temping so I know my actual ov day! How exciting.

I am using an app called Kindara which I have just discovered and it's fab! You can add your temp daily and it makes a pretty graph for you

Hi MissMrs, hope the doctor can shed some light on why ov is causing that. In regards to temping, does it only work if your are able to take it as soon as you wake up after a certain length of time sleeping?

Linda....I thought about temping but it seems like quite an art! You do have to have had unbroken sleep for 4 hours I believe and you have to take temp at same time and before you even get out of bed. I'm sure someone who temps will tell you more

To get accurate results from temping you have to take it at the same time every morning, after 3 hours uninterrupted sleep, before you get out of bed. It's more difficult now the sun wakes me before my alarm!!

Oh well there's no point in me temping then, I'm awake almost every 2 hours, I'll stick to the opk's

Morning everyone.....welcome to those just jumped on board. Think I ov'd yesterday. Had quite a few twinges going on. We DTD everyday since last Friday and also this morning just for good measure! So it looks like I'm on the 2ww now.....is anyone else on the 2ww yet?
