For those starting TTC in April

I thought I'd start a thread for all those who will be starting out TTC this month, I'd be interested to see how other people get on, tips, moral support etc. We'll be starting TTC at the weekend!!

I've never had so much blood come out of me ever!
AF is the heaviest I've ever seen it :( kept me up last night as I had to keep changing my pad! This one is awful! Roll on when it stops so we can dtd and make a baby! :D

tested again witha strip, i might test again on Saturday morning with a frer just incase - but i think im clutching at straws! :(

Kitkat, mine got lighter before it got darker and if I used them strips I don't think id see it... I used one recently and it still wasn't very strong.

Other people said they could see a line

Cupcake - that's exactly what happened with me! AF only stayed a few days but was mega heavy! It will be over soon, then you can get excited about the May bus :)

Thanks guys, hopefully my other tests will arrive in the post today. I'm expecting that it was just a dodgy strip though - cruel strip!

My it's my 1st proper AF off the implant, I remembered why I loved contraception haha! But yes hopefully it'll end soon and I can join in with the May club! I'm gonna do it next month I know it :) ordered my ovulation tests! I'm all ready to go!
When do u start testing for ovulation? It's it literly straight after AF?

I did cupcake but that's because my cycles had a mind of their own. If you are regular there is usually a chart tht will tell you when to start testing or you can google it

I usually ovulate about a week after AF has finished so prob best I use them straight away lol thank you Ducky.

I'm getting all excited again! Can't wait to dtd and try again :D

How's everyones day going? My tests arrived today, going to try and hold off until at least tonight or tomorrow morning if I can manage!
I've got too fr and 2 clear blue digital - all stocked up now!

I'm not sure how I am lol! I have been getting really really dizzy and eating loads and I have morning insomnia and am shattered during the day but no morning sickness yet which is worrying me, I had it really bad with dd

I'm still waiting for this scan too, I have a feeling they have forgot!

Aw you poor thing! Some people can get morning sickness with one and not the other though - I think it is quite common. Or maybe it will just kick in a bit later.
When is your scan supposed to be? They are so slow with sorting appointments for anything though - so I wouldnt worry too much. You can also call your gp and say you are supposed to be getting a scan date through but havent recieved anything yet.

Yes, let's be positive! Although I've got sharp stomach pains and feel really bloated... Ugh! Desperately trying not to symptom spot but it's so hard. Am 8DPO now, think time has slowed to a complete stop.

I don't trust then strips kitkat, I recon the lines don't stay and like I said mine got lighter the next day so could be that?

Just spoke to midwife, she said I should receive the scan date tomorrow but she is also checking the date tomorrow to see if I have the earliest available one.

I CANNOT stop eating, and I'm eating utter crap. I just got through my second ripple of the day

Cupcake I know what you mean last time I came off the pill my af was really heavy and painful am not looking forward to it!!!

Well in on cd21 and am feeling sick ( this maybe from excitement up coming honeymoon or maybe with worry as I am waiting on an exam result which I should get this weekend) and I feel bloated and exhausted!

Kitkat are u testing this morning?

Fr came back negative as did a superdrug own test and another strip nothing at all on there. It's ok though at least I know where I am now! It would have been ridiculously quick!

on a better note my opk looks promising today!
Would you call this a positive? It's the darkest I have had it.
Just to emphasise - this is an opk this time not a hug!! I wish!
