I thought I'd start a thread for all those who will be starting out TTC this month, I'd be interested to see how other people get on, tips, moral support etc. We'll be starting TTC at the weekend!!

Bears, it was EXACTLY the same for me!! Soooo frustrating!!!

lillamyy1 · 21/04/2014 18:25

Has anyone been really greedy in first weeks of pg? I can't stop eating atm - even fatty foods which I usually hate. Or am I just symptom spotting again?

Ducky23 · 21/04/2014 18:30

Lil, that was something I noticed. I usually have a very small appetite but I was literally CONSTANTLY eating! I ate so much it was nuts!!! Infact I just ate 2 dinners and could easily go for a third (oh my god I'm a pig)

But in my last pregnancy i got really bad morning sickness around 6 weeks and couldn't keep anything down and lost loads of weight, wonder if that will happen this time. I'm screwed if not! Ha Grin

Cupcake92 · 21/04/2014 18:31

I ate a bag of crisps for breakfast this morning which I never do! As normally I love my toast haha!

elcarmen2010 · 21/04/2014 18:43

I've only just joined and found this thread. My husband and I have been TTC and this is month 3 of trying. I'm currently 10dpo and convinced I was pg. Sore bbs, very mild cramping, extra sensitive sense of smell but my symptoms seem to come and go. Except for the sore bbs. Just took a CB digital and BFN :-( going to try POAS again tomorrow although its probably still too early. Last month had a chemical pregnancy so just hope this month is my month! Good luck ladies Xx

Ducky23 · 21/04/2014 18:45

Hi Carmen!!! Your in the right place if your a poas addict!! I wonder how much money we have spent on tests between us on this month alone!

Sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancy. Thanks

elcarmen2010 · 21/04/2014 18:58

Thank you so much. That's so sweet. Yeah, I dread to think how much money we've all spent on tests. I just can't help myself. After my chemical pregnancy I promised myself I wouldn't test early!! :-|
I'm just keeping everything crossed. Thanks for the message, it's comforting to know others are in the same situation as me Xx

lillamyy1 · 21/04/2014 19:53

Hi elcarmen! fx for you! xx

lillamyy1 · 21/04/2014 19:53

And so sorry about your chemical pregnancy xx

lillamyy1 · 21/04/2014 20:00

Ducky, Cupcake, I've been on the crisps and I just had a huge portion of fish n chips AND a battered sausage! I never fancy fish n chips.

Ducky, I've learnt a few v low-impact exercises for weight loss in pregnancy as I'm 2 stone overweight and really don't want to put any more on... although it's worth it for a baby Easter Wink

Ducky23 · 21/04/2014 20:03

Ahh il have to look for some myself lil! I did ride my horse until I was 7 months pregnant last time and she's a nutter Shock but will stop earlier this time just to be safe so am worried il just pile on te pounds.

Before I found out I was pregnant last time I came off her, would hae propably been around 5 or 6 weeks... Scary. Confused

Cupcake92 · 21/04/2014 21:14

Hi carman! Good luck for this month! :) I'm due Wednesday n tested today n got bfn but I'm still keeping fingers crossed :)
I just ate stir fry and noodles which is my fav! But feel so incredibly sick now :( n looking at my leftovers makes me want to throw up :(
Had a panick attack earlier all because I couldn't find my car keys n I've not had a panic attack in such a long time! Weird :/

Ducky23 · 21/04/2014 21:31

You try and relax cupcake! Don't want to go stressing yourself out. I know it's easier said than done Confused

elcarmen2010 · 21/04/2014 21:39

Thank you ladies :-)
Cupcake I will keep my fingers crossed for you! It's crazy what our bodies put us through. I imagine the panic attack was scary! Last month during my chemical pregnancy I started sleepwalking. All of a sudden - never done it before. At one point I jumped up in the middle of the night and was sleep "running" towards the door! No idea where the hell I thought I was going at that time?!?
I think if I didn't have the symptoms I wouldn't test so early. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread for any good news! Good luck Xx My AF is due Sunday. Still have a little wait...

Cupcake92 · 21/04/2014 21:40

Relaxing is a something I can't do for the next month lol! We have so much painting to do in our flat and have to have it done by Thursday :O landlord wants us to put it all back to magnolia, so got lounge, bedroom, hall and babys room to do for Thursday. As we now finally have our house so have to pack as well! All this with an 8 month old who's at the age of wanting lots of attention. It's hard work!

Ducky23 · 21/04/2014 22:09

Ohhh cupcake! Sounds like it's all go! Confused

looking4rainbow · 21/04/2014 23:00

Welcome Elcarmen. Sorry to hear about chemical. I will be 11dpo tomorrow so will test too. (Knowing it's probably too early) I have 3 tests left. When I got my bfp last time I then went out and bought more expensive just to confirm hehe! So yes very expensive time.

Would forget about it though if I had a bfp
Fx for everyone

Cupcake92 · 22/04/2014 01:42

I'm so tired lol

alizeeod · 22/04/2014 04:01

Morning ladies! I'm back to work today after nearly 2 weeks off... DP and I had a row just before bed last night about how I think his fondness of alcohol and video games aren't a great sign he's mature enough to be a dad etc, we went to bed angry which never happens! (He's still asleep).
Gosh - relationships are so stressful sometimes and I'm nervous having a baby will only add more stress but I think it's too late to chicken out now because I really feel pregnant!!!

Who is testing this week and what day? I'll be testing Sunday. Hope everyone has a great day x

Cupcake92 · 22/04/2014 06:37

Ali , me and my DH were like that whilst I was pregnant as he sat on his ps3 allllll night and chatted to friends on their etc and we argued constantly and I said he needs to grow up etc. When DS was born the first few weeks he nearly left me and DS as he realised he wasn't mature enough, but he left for a day came back and was completely changed honestly! He's such a great dad now and NEVER goes on his ps3!! He COOKS us dinner instead! :O having a baby completely matured him it was crazy so there is hope :)

I'm now leaving testing till Friday how bout u?

alizeeod · 22/04/2014 07:01

Sunday. And thanks for your message. We've made up but I feel like such a cow for nagging at him about being on his PS4 all day and drinking cider in the morning, but in a way I think I have a point. He just seems to feel unhappy and says I'm trying to "change him", which I'm really not! I guess I just want him to have more wholesome, grown up hobbies, he's nearly 30 ffs!!! Envy

Cupcake92 · 22/04/2014 07:14

OMG sounds EXACTLY like my DH!!
Trust me on this one, it's cuz they are scared, they are nervous about how they will be as a dad. They don't know exactly what's going to happen. My DH told me (eventually) he was terrified and wasn't sure he would know what to do etc n then said that once DS was here it was completely different and he said he just knew what to do and said he relaxed and wasn't so scared about future etc.

Don't worry about it he'll soon realise :)
I'm just watching last nights one born every minute and I don't care how painful it all was I so wanna do it all again !! So bad!!! :(

Hopefully we'll have weekend bfp's :)

alizeeod · 22/04/2014 07:42

I don't think I want to watch One Born in the coming months, the women are clearly in agony and since I've never given birth before I don't want to get even more anxious!
Fingers crossed for our tests this weekend! I'm full of symptoms but who knows, could be all in my head...! x

Cupcake92 · 22/04/2014 07:52

TMI I know but I've had very watery cm and very slightly creamy also but it's very watery no idea what this mean or if it means AF Is about to jump on me.
Tempted to test again but I dunno :/ holding my FMU in deciding what to do!

BearsInMotion · 22/04/2014 07:53

Ha, we watched OBEM recently and I felt exactly the same! I had an epidural with DD so slept through a lot of labour, it was much easier than I thought it would be! Always said if I did it again I'd hope it was exactly the same!

Still no sign of AF Easter Confused
