Sparrowlegs248 · 07/04/2014 18:02

Grr damn pone. Is is 3 days from positive opk miss a day sh@g a day?

Metalhead · 07/04/2014 18:03

I had the same issue Notta re maternity benefits but decided that, since it could take me another year to get pregnant for all I know, I can't stand the thought of having to do this job indefinitely. At least the job hunting is taking my mind off ttc and giving me a sense of being proactive (or it was, until this morning... now I'm just depressed about not being pregnant and not having a new job either!)

Treaclepie19 · 07/04/2014 18:09

Treaclepie19 · 07/04/2014 18:10

Ahhh stupid phone! Kitty I so hope it is a progesterone surge :) feel a bit better today but not great. Thamks spinning :)

Sorry to hear af got some :(

Victoria, that sounds terrible :(

Hope you get an answer soon broody!

broodysnoopstie · 07/04/2014 18:18

Just done an OPK big dark line. Have already text dp to say he's getting lucky tonight! ! romantic

PolytheneGirl · 07/04/2014 18:26

Yay Broody!!

Sorry to all those af got bitch Thanks

Victoria that's awful. I'd be completely avoiding that friend for a long time. I find it very hard to hold how I feel inside.

12dpo here and I resisted poas this morning!! Can't say I feel particularly pregnant though. Maybe a bit tired?!

lindamagoo · 07/04/2014 18:31

Yay broody that's fab, get dtd the next few days and good luck Smile

Sparrowlegs248 · 07/04/2014 18:35

Well done poly I will be 4 days prior to af tomorrow and was tempted to poas but won't now that i've had the potential spotting. I do have a sore throat and am soooo tired but i think thats down to the rapeseed coming into bloom and a series of late nights.

metal I know what you mean. I am torn. But we really won't cope without a half decent maternity package and if get preggers NOW i will manage to stick the next 8 months out

Sparrowlegs248 · 07/04/2014 18:36

Ooh and congrats broody !! On the positive opk!! Honestly this ttc lark is like a dark art isn't it?

PolytheneGirl · 07/04/2014 18:41

Viperama · 07/04/2014 18:54

I was thinking about victoria401 this afternoon and how she hasn't posted since last week. Victoria if you are lurking please come back, EVERYONE is welcome on this thread including you. Hope you are having a better week this week x

EnglishGirlAbroad · 07/04/2014 18:55

Notta, I've done SMEP. Added an extra day, so did 4 days from positive OPK and got my BFP (sadly didn't stick, but it worked).

Yay for the positive OPK Broody! Pounce!

KittyVonCatsington · 07/04/2014 18:56

Evening lovely ladies!

Well, i agree that this TTC lark really is a dark art and it is driving me potty! This morning I woke up, felt fine. Had breakfast, felt fine. Got ready to pop into school for revision classes and suddenly doubled over in pain and felt sick (like you would with food poisoning) All the way into school felt sweaty sick etc. Got out of car and after a few moments, felt fine again-no pain, nausea or feeling hot. I did have a few half pints of Meantime beer yesterday after not drinking for a while, but nothing else out of the ordinary. I'm only CD7 but for a while there, thought I might be someone who was still pregnant but had heavy periods. I. Need. To. Get. A. Grip!

Viperama · 07/04/2014 18:58

Haa I should of caught up before posting, glad to see you back Victoria401 :-)

victoria401 · 07/04/2014 19:52

Thanks for asking about me viper !

I'm actually not ok still this week, life keeps throwing more and more shit at me. But it could also be a lot worse I guess. Nothing massively major has happened, just lots of little things like today I found out my usual bus to work is changing route and not going my way anymore and the alternative bus is at the wrong times for my work hours and costs 3times the price. Sounds pathetic on its own but added onto the rest of the crap it's significant, you know? Just depressed currently.

But hey, tomorrow is a new day. I'm off to po an opk :-)

MrsExtraOrdinary · 07/04/2014 19:54

English if you ever run out of Fannies to wax I think you'd make a very good cervix expert! Grin I wish I was as knowledgeable. Wink You are so incredibly handy and you are not allowed to leave the bus even when you get your bfp, we need you! Smile

MrsExtraOrdinary · 07/04/2014 19:57

Ok dh thinks I've officially lost it, koala plan in action while he's replacing printer toners! I used to be such a shy girl Blush

toots123 · 07/04/2014 19:59

Thanks girls!! Pains still here but not as bad. Dont feel as gutted as I did last month. Just want to get to ovulation time again so we can try again.

A January baby would be nice :)

EnglishGirlAbroad · 07/04/2014 20:00

Haha! Glad I'm of use MrsE! Just wish all my knowledge would do some good for me!! Pretty much a dr here, the amount i've read!

Sorry life keeps throwing crap at you Victoria. I know how al the small things can suddenly make it feel like the whole world is against you. Try to stay positive. I'm sure it must help....Smile

lindamagoo · 07/04/2014 20:02

Booked in for my 21 day bloods on the 28th, don't really think there's anything wrong but will still be good to know that I'm ovulating at my age and everything still works Smile

MrsExtraOrdinary · 07/04/2014 20:03

English I think you just need to handcuff your dh to the bed. How dare he tootle off to Belgium, while you're ttc! Wink

EnglishGirlAbroad · 07/04/2014 20:08

Haha! He did at least bring back a huge amount of delicious Belgian chocolate! No more trips planned for him as yet, so he's fully prepared for shagathon in a week or so!!

Hope your tests come back with nothing to worry about Linda

Viperama · 07/04/2014 20:08

Victoria your commute to work being mucked up is v annoying, it's not like many of us really enjoy having to work for a living and to have a crap commute on top of it is a kick in the teeth! I live in Central London and after years of schlepping it on the tube I got a scooter, soooo much nicer not having my nose in some guys pit all the way to work.

I believe for every bad thing, the universe hands us a good, so hoping your good is a BFP soon x

MrsExtraOrdinary · 07/04/2014 20:14

Good luck Linda. Good to get those tests out the way early on ttc so you can relax a little. Smile
