Ok so my mind's racing here . I know with my history even if there's something there atm I'll most likely end up having a chemical or mc again but ... I have never had a hint in a test this early . Since we're likely heading to ivf at some point I've had to consider the possibility of twins ( about 40 % if transferring two emb at a time we were told , 15% triplets !) and try to figure out if we could manage . Now there's a thought . We can just fit in our house if twins would share but a new car would be needed , don't want to think about who's paying 4 sets of school fees and how the hell I'd manage with my not so good health . I know I'm getting ahead of myself but with ivf or ivf and surrogacy it's a real possibility . Why oh why did I test ?! Another poas addict here :(

Hello fancy my lovely! Have missed you a little bit and was wondering how you were getting on Grin

I do think you could have missed your surge withe the digis-I nearly did in
Feb and it was only wierd intuition and checking the two lines that made me test one afternoon and got it. I would still keep testing though and check the two lines. I am currently in the same boat although I'm learning to trust that my body will know what it's going

KittyVonCatsington · 13/04/2014 11:07

doing

MissMrsMummy · 13/04/2014 11:07

Thanks English, very informative. But she has a scary tone! Doesn't she know how sensitive we TTC-ers are?!

Nordicmom · 13/04/2014 11:13

Fancy , I've been testing twice a day for the last few months because I was wondering about missing it and once had gotten a blank in the morning but could swear otherwise it was time and sure enough later in the day I got a smiley face . Same this month and last so now using two sticks a day but the packet of ten still lasts 2 m since I seem very regular in the timing and only ever test on few day before catching it. I'd recommend testing more than once if in doubt ...

Nordicmom · 13/04/2014 11:27

Great so just now started feeling a bit crampy ... I feel like every time except with ds my body literally ejects what ever is in there. I know people have cramps and it doesn't mean anything but with me it just brings it all back and I think it's bad news. Why can't I just not have no symptoms and then a yes or no on a test ...

fancyacupoftea · 13/04/2014 11:28

It's a minefield! I'm tempted next month to just not do any of it and do dtd eod for the whole flippin' month.

I've been good thanks for asking kitty, how have you been getting on? Where are you in cycle now?

Nordic fingers crossed that your faint line becomes stronger and sticks!!

Nordicmom · 13/04/2014 11:56

Thanks , I'm feeling a bit panicky about loosing it againg . Don't expect anything else really . Am not signed up with a consultant this time yet and feel like I'd need a scan and progesterone etc ASAP if I got a clear positive .

KittyVonCatsington · 13/04/2014 12:03

CD13 for me! I DTD EOD in January [CD8 to about CD25 odd] and that didn't work for me. DTD every day from CD9 to CD 23 in Feb (but knew I ovulated CD19 otherwise I would have stopped earlier) and got a BFP. Going to start DTD every day CD16 and until then, I'm just instigating sporadic DTD to "clean the pipes" Grin

I feel a bit more in control this way, but I do know it really is a miracle and down to luck mostly.

EnglishGirlAbroad · 13/04/2014 12:28

She is quite blunt MissMrs, but that's what I liked. I've had enough of all these sites that tell you what they think you want hear, I need the hard truth! Lol! It was a bit of a reality check.

Busy morning on here!

Just wanted to say to madmoiselle I have a DH who is addicted to his computer. I was so annoyed with him last weekend and we had a massive row. 9 hours he was on his game, with his headphones on talking to his bro who also plays it. I can't be bothered to drag him off it, just wait for it to run its course. It was a wet day and I felt lonely and bored. At least this Sunday its sunny and I can potter in the garden although I could do with a hand as he is back on his game again. I live in hope that whn we have a child we will do things as a family and he will finally grow up and out of his games at the grand old age of 36!

fancyacupoftea · 13/04/2014 12:55

Just read the link you posted English, it was very good and thanks for sharing.

I do think she may be slightly prone to exaggeration though:

HOWEVER, is what gets misconstrued is the fact that SOME women will ovulate, GET PREGNANT, and then while pregnant, ovulate while pregnant, because their bodies do not recognize that they had conceived. This is called Superfetation, and it is the most rarest things in the world to come by.

Bold claim!

fancyacupoftea · 13/04/2014 12:56

I'm just taking the piss out of her because she spoke to me in a mean way.

Treaclepie19 · 13/04/2014 13:13

Haha love it fancy!

Well I am enjoying my holiday before it has even started:) not doing housework today! Haha.

7dpo. Guessing af will be here Thursday!

MrsGingerbread · 13/04/2014 13:18

Yes? a very helpful link but her tone could be a little friendlier. :)

I can't believe this thread is getting close to full already, we are a chatty lot.

Treacle I understand the poas thing too, irrational as it may be. :)

EnglishGirlAbroad · 13/04/2014 13:27

She's probably some self certified 'doctor' and yes her manner isn't particularly friendly. Very 'hard truth'.
The bit about ovulating while pregnant is so irrelevant if it's 'so' rare but she's obviously been asked that question... Stupid bloody question if you ask me!
Hope you're all enjoying your Sunday... I'm stuck at work, working my magic on the bushes of Amsterdam!!

MademoiselleG · 13/04/2014 14:09

Aaaaah Victoria, I am not alone then.... I despair! What a waste of time and someone's brain....Grrr....

Needless to say: we did not dtd AND I am still having empty circles on cd15. This is obviously not our month....or is it normal?

JonesSchool · 13/04/2014 14:14

DH and I watched a faint but there line appear this morning. Sooo nervous about this BFP, the innocence has gone a bit. We are both incredibly happy but both just need to see how the next few weeks go. Full scale knicker watch has begun!

fancyacupoftea · 13/04/2014 14:30

Jones! A tentative congratulations, but have all my fingers crossed for you that it sticks!!!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 13/04/2014 14:56

Congratulations jones Thanks I remember that feeling so vividly after mc. Every twinge made me dash to the loo. Hopefully they will offer an early scan or perhaps bloods to put your mind at rest. Take care. You've one, one battle at least.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 13/04/2014 14:57

Oh English, your fanny waxing does make me chuckle!

Treaclepie19 · 13/04/2014 15:02

Congrats jones, fingers crossed for you :)

EnglishGirlAbroad · 13/04/2014 15:26

Tentative congrats Jones... I can imagine exactly how you feel! Try to take each day as it comes. Fx for you! Smile

Nordicmom · 13/04/2014 15:49

Congrats Jones I wish u the best of luck :)!!!!
I've been here obsessing all day and worrying since have had some lower back pain and cramping and not just sore around the right ovary like earlier :(. I've sinked to new lows ,not only did I waste another test just now that came back negative ( but peeing very often now so dilluted unlike the first sample ) I also took the tests apart for the first time in my life and the first one clearly has blue colour visible and the second not . Now have run out of tests except a digi I wouldn't use until I got a proper positive on something else so will have to ask dh to get some on his way back from work tomorrow since prob staying in with ds while dd in nursery because I feel so sick with the cold . Have been reading the December antenatal thread as well wishing so I could get there...

MissMrsMummy · 13/04/2014 18:21

Ooh Jones fx for you, though I understand how you feel. Really hope you get some stronger positives and that it sticks! Thanks
