Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

I've never read 8 hours for the egg. I agree with mich on 12-24. also agree on drinking more water for cm improvement. luckily I don't have to ferret! tmi warning...I find its most obvious after a no 2 .
I did ferret for cervical position for a few cycles at the start but I couldn't really tell what was going on and I was temping anyway too so I gave up. it was a bit much!

oh the men in our lives. I don't think they understand how it is for us. im not saying they don't think about it or feel it, but I think its harder for us because we are the ones watching for all the tiny signs our body may let us see. at first dh and I didn't really talk about it all that much but after that talk at 6 months we have been much more open, well mainly he has. I told him back then that I felt like I was in this alone. now he counts cycle days from when I tell him AF has shown so he knows when he needs to get his cape on, he asked me to try the cbfm too, I think he likes that cos pictures atew easier than lines! and after I ov he asks when test day is. he's definitely much more involved, and even he will never look at an ew in the same way again as I've explained it all! I know I am really lucky that he has got to this point/understanding. but I think sometimes we can be guilty of forgetting their feelings in all this and just "using" them to drain their spunk! when its not happening straight away its easy for them o start questioning their masculinity and I think the "chill it'll happen" vibes are them reassuring themselves, not us.

sil has had her 20wk scan today, they are having a girl. I stupidly cried again when I got the text I don't know why, I knew it was going to be a baby ffs!

wil no ROC throwing here - it's probably more frustrating if first time is accident then it doesn't happen again straight away. My mate's due next week having used no contraception but still being shocked when she turned out to be pg. I'm delighted for her tho she'll be a lovely mama.

we're off to Scotland on Mon and it'll be the right time for getting upduffed - determined it'll be a Scottish conception!

Aww thanks ladies, I'm fine, actually I am glad she arrived cause it means we can crack on good and proper when she buggers off.
