Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture!

Hahaha, I'm very happy I can be the organiser and not the manual labourer!
I've put in a note to the stork that my delivery will be polite, quiet and appreciate naps! If MINIon doesn't comply I shall purchase noise cancelling headphones.

RPopz · 10/04/2014 20:41

So I promised myself to today I definitely wasn't going to give myself an anxiety attack by spending the whole day obsessing about ttc again First thing I am met with when I get to work in the heavily pregnant microbiologist who seems to spend most of her time hanging around in the corridors stroking her bump - or so it seems to me! Either that or she is following me around..

Also found out today that a work colleague has just started ttc. I don't particularly like her, she seems to have self esteem issues which she attempts to appease by very subtly digging at me all the time. Comments on what I'm eating all the time (bit rich considering how heavy she is!) Slags off anything I happen to be doing which she isn't, as totally ridiculous (buying a house, getting married, doing a masters) Talks very loudly about how she'd never be caught dead doing it... then loand behold 2 months later will be doing it, but 10 times bigger/ better. Obviously. Unsurprisingly, I never bother to mention when we started ttc! She has been talking very loudly and publicly about it since she got married (She talks very loudly and publicly about most things, seems to think the whole world is hugely interested in every minute detail of her life. They aren't). She shut up about it for a while, but now is doing the really obvious attention seeking SSHHH IT'S A SECRET THING. God I hate her so much. (I know, hiding it so well right)

Told Mr Rpopz and he says "Well, its not a competition! " .... Angry I know its not a fucking competition! Really hacked me off. It might kind of kill me a little bit if she gets pregnant before me though. That's really bad isn't it?

Right okay, that's the emotional mini drama done. I think ttc is well and truly breaking me.

I'm having M&S meal deal for tea and it just so happens to have a bottle of Wine with it... Nom.

Hope everyone else had a good day!

RPopz · 10/04/2014 20:43

That post is appallingly written and I haven't even opened the wine yet! I blame my phone.

lil1ady · 10/04/2014 20:49

oh dear rpopz I think you need to find the Zen! but I'm here secretly goping the bitch can't get pg on her own, feels a twat for announcing ttc and ends up with an ugly baby I do hate ppl like the idiot you have described. the world is full of too many of them.
enjoy the wine, I'm well jel!

Minion · 10/04/2014 21:10

People like that don't deserve to get pg before lovely folk like you popz, it's just taking a bit longer because your one hasn't found you yet.
It's what I told my friend apparently 2 yrs ago, when she was struggling, and she said it's something she told herself everyday.
I'm not religious but I believe in reincarnation and think reincarnated souls search for their best matches to be their parents, they choose us.
That's why, because they're picky and they want the best.
And that's us.

RPopz · 10/04/2014 21:17

This woman, seriously. A friend of ours got a pet rabbit a while ago. So now she's got one! DH and I finally got a puppy in September after saying for our entire adult life together we wanted one! So now she literally never stops talking about how she's getting a dog (even though her poor DH is SCARED of dogs!!) Its just so bizarre how she can't bear anyone to have something she doesn't have. Her and her husband are literally the fattest people I've ever seen so... wouldn't surprise me if it does take them a while. To be fair I wouldn't wish this waiting and worrying on anyone but... I just know she'll be rubbing my nose in it if she does get there first.

Min, that's really lovely, thank you x

Nessalina · 10/04/2014 21:25

Awwww Min, you made me well up! That's such a lovely thought Smile

Nessalina · 10/04/2014 21:27

She sounds like a pillock Rpopz - ignore her bollocks! I used to work with someone like that. My friend calls them 'bigger blacker dog people', as in - if I said I had a big black dog, they'd say they had a bigger blacker dog! Grin

ZylaB · 10/04/2014 21:35

Do I get a special award? I had really really low blood sugars at work this morning, stayed whole day despite having a hypo hangover, and then made DH JS me, despite nearly falling asleep (the hypo left me knack erred!)

We can't say we're not committed to this!

And minion people like that aren't orthodox your attention! you're so much better than her! (Tho I know it's virtually impossible to ignore them, make her think you don't care, she'll hate that)

ZylaB · 10/04/2014 21:36

Knack erred was meant to be knackered, stupid auto correct

ZylaB · 10/04/2014 21:38

And orthodox was meant to say. Worth

Sorry

RPopz · 10/04/2014 21:46

Bloody hell Zyla! That is commitment! Be careful missus x

ZylaB · 10/04/2014 21:53

I'll live. Tomorrow is fairly easy going and we've not much on over the weekend so I'll catch up on sleep then, thanks tho :)

Wilhelminanevillesdottir · 10/04/2014 22:09

Ha ha Lil that made me laugh.
Awesome effort Zyla. Hope it was worth it (by making a baby I mean)!

She sounds awful Rpopz we used to have a girl at school like that. We used to make stuff up just to see what she would come out with next. Not that I advocate this, but we were teenagers. You are probably going to have to find the Zen about this though or she may end up driving you up the wall with it all.

How are you feeling Min? Any more symptoms?

Minion · 11/04/2014 05:42

wil insomnia, insomnia, insomnia! Woke up at 1:13 feeling very sick. Hungry beyond belief, thankfully craving veg and not cake. Waves of nausea in the day and backache. The cramping has nearly stopped for the time being thank god.
Talk about 24 hr knicker watch.
Dry mouth, cannot quench my thirst and boobs are getting quite a pain in the rear! I don't have the super bloodhound smell, but i normally have really good sense of smell anyway so maybe that's a lot to do with it.
Noticed my hair getting greaser quicker. Normally I can go 3 days between washes as it's very thick... Not anymore. Ball ache!

The worst part is the worrying I'm sure I don't have to say. You spend so much time and worry about not being able to get upduffed, and when you do, all I can think of is will it stick? Oh no, another cramp, ERTD must be here. Backache, I get that with af, she must be visiting etc etc.
I'd gladly take everything else ten fold for the worrying to be taken away.

We did our 'big' shop last night. It's like husband has turned in Gillian mckeith, 'no, you can't have that, yes that's safe, are you taking the right vitamins', if he starts asking me about my shits I'm done! Ha! Bless him though. He's very stern and serious about it all.
Quite sweet really.

Oh, and talking of poo, I am NOT one of the constipated women.
Sadly.

MichonnesSamuraiSword · 11/04/2014 08:10

Knew we could rely on you to give us a no holds barred account of your symptoms Min !

Take care of yourself, your DH sounds lovely.

I think I've missed the boat this month. I think today is icing day, and DP was asleep within seconds of getting into bed last night. He's so knackered at the moment I just didn't have the heart to wake him. So that's probably me done until next cycle.

Ah well, probably not a bad thing if I'm starting my new job soon. Once I've settled in I'll go for it with a bit more conviction...

Wilhelminanevillesdottir · 11/04/2014 08:23

Haha Min, all good signs! Insomnia is horrible though. The worrying is a pretty constant annoyance for 9 months. Although I think gets easier after first trimester but then ramps up again before the end.
Mich can't you still DTD today? Won't that count?

lil1ady · 11/04/2014 08:53

agreed wil, we knew min would bare all! what days did u dtd min?

I think insomnia would be worse than sickness, but I guess you have to think of it all as war wounds, the price u pay for ur bfp!

have you grounded yourself yet?

lil1ady · 11/04/2014 08:53

not wil , mich!

Minion · 11/04/2014 09:03

I'll stop if you want however I always wanted someone to come back and tell me a no holds barred account, I'm happy to continue if you want me to tho.
Ok, so I guess I iced on the 26 and we bumped uglies 21,23,24,25,26 and stopped cause frankly friction was getting in the way.
I'm a POAS aholic right now. I've just done another and now the 2nd line isn't as dark. Trying not to look at in a negative light, more like, well I've done 3 wees already today so that probably why..still. It's very nerve wrecking.
Yes I've grounded myself, just waiting for HR to call to tell me my options etc. also got a driving lesson today so nervous about that, and I've done idea how I'm not to pee for 2 whole hours!

Wilhelminanevillesdottir · 11/04/2014 09:29

Ehm Angry Min I believe we had a deal where you WEREN'T going to obsessively POAS?! Hooya to you Grin. I know it's hard but you're only going to cause yourself unnecessary stress.
Good luck with your driving lesson.

Minion · 11/04/2014 10:13

Can't have been me who made a pact to that.......
Nope, I don't recall making that deal.... Ish

RPopz · 11/04/2014 10:26

I'd take insomnia over sickness any day!

Agree with Wil tho Min: stop POAS!! Easier said than done though eh. Your DH sounds like a total sweetie. Good luck with the driving lesson! I keep thinking I should get my ass into gear with that. I feel like the oldest person in the world who can't drive sometimes...

Morning everyone!

RPopz · 11/04/2014 11:00

Ok Mr cbfm is pissing me off now. Cd11 and sick of seeing the word LOW already.... haha.... might not be cut out for this contraband after all! Grin

DulcetMoans · 11/04/2014 19:16

Do you have to start from
CD1 with CBFM rpopz? Just wondering...
