Yes it wasn't a sticky one sadly. Tbh it was clear something wasn't right from the outset but I did get my hopes up.

If I can choose I will go for cycle 1 again - I can be all naive and excited - surely this ttc malarkey won't take long?! ;)

Is 4 days in a row of positive opk's normal? Trust this to be the cycle I'm not temping! Very confused. Was trying to follow Smep, so they say do it 3 days in a row from first positive opk. But should I keep going until OPK starts being negative? Poor DH is worn out (and I'm starting to walk like a cowboy)

Treacle, I've been reading a bit about it today, it could be our bodies have had a false ovulation start, so geared up to ovulate but then something stopped it, so then you get another surge when it tries again. Or it could just be a mahoooosive lh hormonal surge. I dunno, but I am chafed.

BFN again this morning, so I guess I'm out, always had my BFP's before this point but hey ho onwards and upwards as they say

Zermatt, I'm the same. I've had 5 positive OPKs. No temp shift so i know I've not ov'd yet. Getting pissed off to be honest as had an anovulatory cycle last cycle. And feel like I'm wasting my time.
Treacle, I'd keep DTD every other day til you get that peak.

It must be so frustrating English, have you been temping long. I'm cursing myself for not temping this cycle as I'd love to know if/when ov is happening this time.

I hope that this month you are having a huge LH surge as there is a mega egg about to be released which will give you your BFP.

I think my mood has shifted this morning, feeling a lot less wound up! Half way through the 2ww now, may test this weekend?!?

Poly glad to hear your mood has lifted, I'm still a wee bit moody but not as bad as I was. Both my boys are ill now and I think I'm getting a throat infection so it's like bloody A&E in here at the moment

Morning ladies, I have been on this (and other) buses under another nn - don't want to mention it just yet incase it comes up in searches (and I'm 99% sure my best friend is on MN and she knows my normal nn!) but...I think I might have a BFP! I'm 12dpo today and took an ic last night at 6.30pm, just for fun really.

Am I imagining it? I've had sore boobs & a little bit of nausea but I still have pre-AF spots and cramping.

Linda you have my complete sympathy. I had that weird cold/flu/ throat/strange ear thing going on a couple of weeks ago and ds off all week with d&v. Get dh to get you some metatone tonic or floradix. Poorly children is hard enough but when you are poorly to its even harder.

Hi chilly they do look positive don't they, but my jury is out on ics. I had intermittent positives last month but nothing on a frer. So my advise would be to get yourself a frer. I hope your lines get darker and stay consistently.

Linda you've probably caught tonsilitous from ds. It can be quite contagious esp if you've been looking after him non stop and are probably a bit run down too many late nights dtd gargle with soluble aspirin if it's horrendous. Poor you x

I haven't had chance to read back but just wanted to report back and say that db and myself had a lovely evening out and a little chat and everything is ok again so thank you wise ladies for your advice to me

Day off today so a lazy day at home after a MacDonalds sausage and egg mcmuffin!! Poly, it's been in my head since you mentioned it pleased you're feeling a bit better.

It's so frustrating Zermatt, and the fact I haven't ov'd yet is stressing me which is counter productive! Been temping a few months. Thinking of switching to vaginal temps when I eventually get af. (Although hopefully these ovaries will release big fat egg and I'll get upduffed).
