I have to MrsE, that last gp was out of order just making decisions for me like that and not talking to me about it. I'll still go to the gynae app on the 28th to see what they say but I'm complaining about that new gp Angry

RetroHippy · 29/03/2014 18:03

It's such a huge decision linda, I find it shocking that if you'd not done your research you could have had the op without question. Definitely worth complaining.

I'm glad you've found it's not a risk to get pg. Don't put those green sheets away just yet Wink.

lindamagoo · 29/03/2014 18:05

Retro I'm so gullible I would have went ahead with the op thinking it NEEDED to be done, it was my oh that started questioning things, thank god for him Smile

lindamagoo · 29/03/2014 18:05

Think he's got the pom poms out, lol

lindamagoo · 29/03/2014 18:43

Haha, I'm never showing him those tattoos, he's got enough without getting that done and besides i'd just giggle every time I looked at it Grin

RetroHippy · 29/03/2014 18:54

If I knew it'd do the job I'd have DH booked in tomorrow Grin

lindamagoo · 29/03/2014 18:58

Retro he said he'd rather get this done but I said it would be false advertising, lol

MrsExtraOrdinary · 29/03/2014 19:13

I'm just back from my run and I didn't die! Woohoo!!!! This time last year I never thought I'd walk again let alone be running Grin

lindamagoo · 29/03/2014 19:19

Well done MrsE, it's a good feeling isn't it?

MrsExtraOrdinary · 29/03/2014 19:37

I know it's only a small step, but I feel a bit better to be taking control. I'm not overweight at all, but I am unfit. It's got to help ttc.

lindamagoo · 29/03/2014 19:43

And it does, I said before it was only when I lost weight and got fit that af regulated and I got my bfp Smile

spinningirl10 · 29/03/2014 19:44

lol Linda at that tattoo!! I'm so pleased you're getting a second opinion.

MrsE well done on the run, great way to clear your mind and get fit.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 29/03/2014 19:51

I'm so lucky to live in the harbour, it's all pedestrianised along the seafront, it was a beautiful evening and I feel really positive. I will get my bfp! Grin And if not I will fit in my skinny size 6 jeans once again! Lol

I'm going to try to convince dd to join me. She's at her dads this wkd, but think it will do her sime good too. She's really suffering with heavy af, poor love. I'm hoping she doesn't end up with endo like me and all her aunts with endo and pcos. Confused

PolytheneGirl · 29/03/2014 20:45

Well done Linda for sticking up for yourself and what is important to you with the GP. Sometimes these people need their heads pulling out of their own arses!

MrsE you're inspiring me to go for a run, unfortunately I don't have a harbour for scenery! So jealous Envy

Well I'm back from my friend's baby's birthday party which was full of beautiful babies and the inevitable "so when are you havering another one?"s. This resulted in a glass or two of wine but I am now feeling quite relaxed. I just think it's a bit of a personal question to ask someone you hardly know. I promise I'm never going to ask anyone, ever!

How are the poorly mums/mils?

kurama · 29/03/2014 21:42

kurama · 29/03/2014 21:51

oh and so glad ur feeling positive and got a second opinion linda :)

MissMrsMummy · 29/03/2014 23:05

Evening everyone, hope you're all ok.

We are on day 4 of dtd and the last 2 times I have felt pain inside me on the right hand side. It's like bruising inside. Now I still have the pain several hours later and it's in my lower back also on the right. Does this happen to anyone? I'm thinking either urine/kidney infection or endo (I was suspected to have it 10 years ago but never had investigations)?

Treaclepie19 · 29/03/2014 23:23

Thanks for asking poly :) MIL has had an operation today, double bypass to sort out a blockage in her stomach and colon. Hopefully then she will be back on track for chemo.

Fingers crossed!
Glad your mum is a little better kurama :)

Treaclepie19 · 30/03/2014 00:12

Missmrs, can't really help with the pain... Is it different to vaginismus?

Suffering terribly myself with it... Finfing pillow under bum helps. Sorry tmi... :p

Zermatt · 30/03/2014 02:08

What are people's thoughts on dtd twice a day? Would you think it would increase chances or decrease amount of sperm produced? Got positive on OPK today, dtd this morning and if I can persuade DH will try again tonight, tomorrow morning and tomorrow night :) worried it's better to go just once each day over next 3 days?

bellaboo88 · 30/03/2014 08:52

Ladies who opk...

I'm really confused!!

I think I've missed my positive, they started to go super faint :-(

Wed - faint, Thurs - faint, Fri - super faint :-\

Is it possible to completely miss it? Xx

Sparrowlegs248 · 30/03/2014 08:55

Morning all. I've been awol for a couple days so not caught up. Went out with my sister friday night and drank too much. We both seemed to go from merry to plastered in a few minutes! Spent most of yesterday in bed.

I know people say this all the time but i know i need to cut back on the wine. I drink too much in general. So there. I'm aiming for a virtually wine free April.

zermatt re dtd daily. We kind of did this last minth - one morning, the same night then the next morning but by the third go dh couldn't finish! So may be counter productive.

Zermatt · 30/03/2014 09:02

Sounds like a nasty hangover notta, I'm trying a booze free month this month, it can be quite hard, I found this Friday particularly tricky (that was just a week as well!) but keep telling myself to stick with it.

Thanks for the advice re dtd, I was trying SMEP this month, so dtd on cd8, cd10 and then first thing this morning on cd12, got up did an opk and got a positive which has thrown me as I wasn't expecting that until cd14, so worried I missed the boat by not doing it yesterday as well. Have decided to allow DH's little swimmers to have a chance to recover (not to mention DH) and may just try tomorrow morning as well and day after, then skip a day and try again.
