Time for my Mr Selfridge fix, we're only half way through season 2 as we were late to the game.

Grrr I'm confusing the hell out of myself here. Just been trying to work out from the EDD when I was PG with DS when I would have ovulated as when I had my dating scan my EDD moved a few days. So I've figured out that even though I've always had a pretty regular 28 day cycle that I more than likely ovulated on CD20 when I conceived him. Does this mean I just would have had a late period that month if I hadn't got pg, or do I always have a short LP?

I've really got to stop over thinking everything. Finding it very hard to trust these OPKs but maybe I do ov late. Who knows?!

Ive no idea what they calculate the EDD from. I had a chat with my friend about it months ago and she said when they calculated her DD's date she would have conceived on cd6. She said she was still on af then and not even had sex! I probably wouldnt think too much of it :-)

Hi CallingAllEngels, I remember you from the ttc#2 thread [waves]. Haven't been in there since my mc as it was getting a bit too depressing reading all the pregnancy updates.

CD8 here, I've been having quite a lot of watery cm today but opks are still negative, unsurprisingly. Still, hopefully things are moving in the right direction!

I don't think EDD is a reliable way to work out ov Polythene, I'm sure when I got given my date for DD I worked out that she would've been conceived nearly a week after we last dtd (not impossible I know, but a bit unlikely).

Hmm 2nd day of ewcm, and there's tonnes of it! No line still on opk. Does everyone find opks work or do some people not get lines?

I've wondered about anovulatory cycles, if you don't ovulate, how can you get AF on time? Xx

bella it is quite common to get ewcm for a few days before ov I think. Although it is possible to miss your LH surge with the opks if it's very short, I've always got positives eventually, just sometimes they come later than you think. I'd keep testing for a few days.

Hey bella have you been doing/taking anything to help with ewcm or do you naturally just get loads? if so I'm jealous I'm having cough syrup and grapefruit to help! Not noticed any improvement yet but CD8 so AF only just gone.

Really fecked off as AF arrived today and I literally wanted to cry in the middle of my office. Professional much?? So I'm now on the April bus but feeling utterly useless

Don't be sad moo these things take time and you're still in early days although it feels like forever. One thing I've learned from this journey is that it doesn't happen from a missed pill or split johnny for many of us!

My ewcm seems to vary month to month and I don't think I do anything differently. Last month I had tons so thought it was a good sign! Still bfn tho! This month I've had very little which I'm not that pleased about as there is nothing for the little guys to swim in! Was drinking grapefruit juice too!

I think Victoria that's what's frustrating. You always hear about people getting pregnant and didn't mean to, exactly from missed pill or split johnny yet me, full blown flagrant disregard for any contraceptive and nothing. I'll be fine tomorrow, just fucked off today

bella are you testing daily? When you get close to ov its sometimes handy to test twice a day so you don't miss your peak x

Yey poly good news!! I got another blank one this morning after yesterdays smiley. Managed to dtd last night though so thats good. I think i will keep testing just to be sure.
