I'm so sorry to hear so many of you are having a tough time this month. Good luck those yet to test.

I'm around 5dpo and I'm starting to get symptoms in my head. Had my day 21 bloods done today which might be a touch early but the doc tagged on a whole load of other tests to give me a thorough check up :) I'm trying not to convince myself this is our month but we've given it a good shot by dtd a lot!

Choccywoccydodah · 14/03/2014 15:39

Writer!! How exciting!! Can't wait to see some pictures of your gorgeous little bundle!
I had reduced movement for a couple of days near the end for ds, typical I went in for monitoring and the little bugger started moving immediately!
What a perfect gift for you both! If we don't hear from you over the weekend, hope everything goes perfectly and happy anniversary!!

I'm getting so scared.
My tests aren't getting darker, I must have done about 5 today inc a FRER, and the FRER had nothing.
Going to be a shit few days I think

try not to panic Choccy. I know its hard. But hopefully it's only because the hcg hasn't risen enough. Remember it doubles every 72 hours or so. Keeping everything crossed for you.

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 14/03/2014 17:07

Would you ladies mind reading my post 'help plz' and give your opinions thanks v much :)

Hi all, posted on Weds but have then been really busy so just catching up. AF was due Weds and I am normally very regular, nothing but brown discharge in the am - a tiny bit; same on Thursday. Today a bit of bloody discharge, thought AF starting but really slow all day just a bit of blood on wiping - nothing like usual AF. Some cramping though. Not sure what's going on but too scared to test. Arrrggg - I think I may test tomorrow. Has any one else had a very light and late period and then got BFP?

Good lucky Choccy, thinking of you, every hour seems to last longer at the moment - I keep going to the loo waiting for af to come properly but still nothing

Sparrowlegs248 · 14/03/2014 17:34

Good luck choccy i have everything crossed for you.

I have some 'tummy' pain today. Slightly towards the left but quite at the front too if that makes sense? Feels a bit like wind but is clearly not haven't farted despite trying

I'm feeling hopeful and a bit doubtful in equal measures. It doesn't feel like AF and it would be really early if it is.

Sparrowlegs248 · 14/03/2014 17:38

missmrs I'm not sure whether the spotting is counted when it comes to LP? There is (or used to be) a 'short lp gang' thread which might be worth looking for?

CagedMango · 14/03/2014 17:40

Choccy-I'll have my fingers crossed for you. English is right try not to worry as it might take a few more days Thanks

Nordicmom · 14/03/2014 17:42

I've got fingers crossed for u choccy !
Everyone else too waiting to test .
I had odd cramping a lot for a week from about 5-7 dpo until that period that was 3 d early . I never have any cramps before bleeding with AF . I really think I got somewhere but it went wrong last month . Also I've never had any blood and successful pregnancy so any sign of it causes despair ...

sazzlehopes · 14/03/2014 17:53

Oh Choccy I have everything crossed for you. I think not getting darker is not a big deal as those ic vary. Would you do a diggie? Or is that too scary a thought. Please look after yourself over the weekend. Lots of love xx

kurama · 14/03/2014 18:16

fingers crossed choccy x

Choccywoccydodah · 14/03/2014 18:21

I've got a superdrug diggie in the cupboard saz, but I don't think it'll show yet. Not sure of the miu as wasn't in the box and can't find out online anywhere!
Have also remembered that I probably won't bleed until I come off the pesseries as they keep af away, so I just need to keep testing and hope it stays positive.
Will have to have a trip to the dr and get my bloods next week.
Haven't mentioned it to dh.
Got so annoyed with ds earlier and felt so shit afterwards. He's my baby boy

Spotti · 14/03/2014 18:54

KittyVonCatsington · 14/03/2014 19:00

Sitting in my car waiting for 7pm when parking is free and didn't want to read and run, Choccy...Thinking of you and remember, until AF appears...

Nordicmom · 14/03/2014 19:03

Oh choccy I know what you mean about how the ttc takes over your life. When we tried those 5 y for DD starting when DS 2 ,5 y I did worry if it effected DS and if I neglected him but it's irrational since I mostly just kept on going and doing everything with him even while knowing I was yet again misscarrying . It was a relief to move on to the gestational surrogacy in a way. That was then a very stressful and difficult process in a different way and obviously I didn't know if it would ever work let alone our IVF succeed for it since I never tried the IVF on myself . The whole time I was pretty convinced we'd never get there and when we left to go get dd and the CS was due in a few days it was so unreal ! Well it all feels like a dream now . I am very thankful every day of my life for my beautiful children it's just my illness that ruins things since it effects my life so much ... I'll be happy which ever way we'll have this baby in the end but even though it could be potentially horrible pregnancy with my health issues I'd love to carry another child myself and go to the scans for myself , feel the movements etc that are a distant memory . Getting all tearful now . Time to ttc today and then obsess 2 w again. I don't know how many bloody times I can do this if I have all those symptoms again like last month .
Rant over sorry

Writerwannabe83 · 14/03/2014 19:09

Well I'm back home and feeling deflated.

They don't want to bring my CS forward but instead want me to return to the hospital tomorrow, Monday and again on Wednesday for repeat monitoring/heart tracing. I don't mind but it's a 35 mile round trip to the hospital and it means DH taking time off work to take me. If they are that concerned that they want to see me every other day then why not just take the baby out? I know they have their reasons but it is going to be such a hassle - especially when I don't have the energy to climb the stairs let alone make a trip to the hospital every other day. Ah well. I met my Anaesthetist today and he seems nice enough - still feeling very nervous about the Spinal though....I'll be petrified on the day Hmm

The best bit of the day was that I got to have another scan - baby is currently just under 8lbs Smile

lindamagoo · 14/03/2014 19:53

Writer was your previous birth a normal delivery? x

Writerwannabe83 · 14/03/2014 19:54

It's my first baby Smile

lindamagoo · 14/03/2014 20:00

I thought you had another for some reason. How exciting, and just so you know my first was a normal delivery, second was an emergency cs and if a third comes along I'm choosing a cs, the spinal is really nothing to worry about, I even talked my surgeon into letting me have a bowel op last year with a spinal, you really don't have anything to worry about Smile

PolytheneGirl · 14/03/2014 20:24

Hi Writer, very exciting times for you. The fact they don't want to have you straight in is a very good sign, even if it is a bit annoying. My 1st was an elective c-section and it was like a dream. Very relaxed and DH and myself literally had the giggles throughout. The spinal block is nothing to worry about at all. Just be prepared to shake like a leaf, everyone does but for some reason they don't seem to warn you about it. So my advice would be just to try to relax and enjoy it, it's amazing! Good luck x

spinningirl10 · 14/03/2014 21:15

Choccy.....keeping everything crossed for you, I can understand it must be an anxious time for you.

Writer.....ooh only a week!!! So exciting, fx he comes on Sunday for your anniversaryGrin

Af arrived for me, 2 days late!!! So that's me off this bus although I shall hang around to follow your news!

JonesSchool · 14/03/2014 21:30

Choccy fingers crossed!

I clearly am a nutter!
Today is sadly four weeks since my MC, DH and I had planned to go out for a meal, spend some quality time together, due to my crazy ideas I however decided to pee on a stick as sneakily have being checking OV and know it happened 11 days ago! Got BFN and have spent the evening sooo upset!
DH thinks I'm nuts and can't understand why I would do such a thing.
I then, to add to my misery read the October antenatal thread as that would have been the thread I would have been on!
Cue more tears! I am clearly losing the plot and an a complete nut job!

On the upside DH and I are having naked movie, beer and pizza night!
Probably shouldn't have told everyone that xx
