Another thread for a very chatty bus!!

I've had a sore throat for ages! Def since ovulation, so I think it's just lurgy! Keep poking my boobs but I've resisted cervix poking so far Grin

My temp chart is showing clear signs of a third phase as of yesterday. Hovering around 36.45 pre ov, up to 37.5 post ov, now up to 36.9 from 7dpo.

I am going to struggle not to POAS for a whole week. Daft as it sounds, I'm convinced that if I don't wait, I'll somehow jinx it and won't be pg Blush.

DH has said he's fine with finding out before he goes away, but POAS could be a bad idea before a full day at work if it's a bfn.

At least in another week I'll be past AF due date...

But on Sunday I'll be 12dpo. That's good for a FRER isn't it? Isn't it?!

RetroHippy · 12/03/2014 20:34

36.75 post ov

Im so proud of that chart [geek]

MrsGingerbread · 12/03/2014 20:38

Hello ladies!

How is everyone this evening?

MrsExtraOrdinary To match your sore throat, how about the stiff neck that I have had for the last few days? Is that taking symptom spotting a step too far? Confused

Can I ask a couple of questions please -

If we have been lucky this month is there anything I can look for in my temp chart?

Does anyone get a small spot-sized lump in their groin when they ov? Google implies it could be lymph-node related - seems to be the same side as the ovary that is working hard? (Sorry if this is tmi - I thought I was alone until I turned to google!)

Whose turn is it to poas next? Smile

kurama · 12/03/2014 20:59

im poas on sat again. Grin normal pre af things - wanting sweet stuff like cakes. not normal- boobs not as tender, actually being happy instead of always moody and grumpy. sore tummy. ( although that might still be from last weeks prob)

kurama · 12/03/2014 21:00

oh and ginger can I add the sore shoulder going down to lung? anything could be a symptom Wink

MrsGingerbread · 12/03/2014 21:04

Oh, definitely Kurama - that sounds like a definite symptom to me! Smile

Fingers crossed for Saturday then!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 12/03/2014 21:11

I also have a stiff neck! I'm quite excited about it now. I had horrendous headache yesterday, but no headache today. My big toe might also hurt Grin

PolytheneGirl · 12/03/2014 21:12

I think I have evening sickness (is this even a thing?) second evening spent frantically trying to keep my tea down!

Aren't we a fit and healthy bunch!?!

MrsGingerbread · 12/03/2014 21:14

...a sore toe, excellent! And my hair is DEFINITELY fluffier than normal Grin

MrsExtraOrdinary · 12/03/2014 21:17

Oh poly, evening sickness is definitely a massive symptom. In fact I never had morning sickness with my first but def eve sickness!

Fluffy hair Grin that's brilliant!

missmrsmummy · 12/03/2014 21:21

I'm adding super-human sense of smell to the list! I keep smelling things around my house that I have never noticed before. Plus I got a lovely aroma of washing powder when my colleague stood next to me.

EnglishGirlAbroad · 12/03/2014 21:23

MrsGinger your looking for your temp to rise after ovulation and stay up. It will probably start to fall the day before af!

I literally have zero symptoms, but at potentially only 5do what can i expect!!

RetroHippy · 12/03/2014 21:23

I'm so jealous of all your symptoms. I have none!

I shall go round school tomorrow sniffing things to see if they smell strong Grin

Oh, wait, I do have the worst spots I've had in a while. Defo preggers like.

PolytheneGirl · 12/03/2014 21:28

I'm actually getting really anxious here. We did EVERYTHING we could this month. And now I have just started to think, maybe, just maybe! then I am sure AF is going to get me in the morning and the way I am feeling I am not going to take it well!

I know you all want it as much as I do but sometimes I am sure there isn't another person in the world who wants a baby as much as I do Its just not fair

Ok tantrum over - not feeling any better for it Sad chocolate fudge cake required!

RetroHippy · 12/03/2014 21:29

Haha poly, guess what I just had?! Sainsbury's hot choc fudge cake is half price Grin Cake

PolytheneGirl · 12/03/2014 21:32

So jealous Retro

Treaclepie19 · 12/03/2014 21:46

Joining in!!! I have bad spots! And stomach ache! Anndd sore boobs. Only 3dpo though so I am obviously insane.

missmrsmummy · 12/03/2014 21:55

Haha Retro hope you get some nice whiffs! Don't sniff the children; they usually smell bad!

Polythene I'm anxious too! Tried to be casual by not using opks (then started using them anyway) but feel so out of control as I'm not sure how many dpo I am!

This is the worst stage. At least around ov you feel like you can actively do something by Dtd. When AF comes you just have to accept you're not pg. The in between bits are unbearable!

missmrsmummy · 12/03/2014 21:56

All these imaginary symptoms are good - let's hope for some more BFPs in the next few days!

PolytheneGirl · 12/03/2014 22:02

Missmrs I'm a little glad I'm not the only one feeling completely tied up in knots and out of control although I'm sorry you're feeling pants about it all too. Hopefully we'll wake up all positive in the morning.

I'm looking after my friends 11mnth old tomorrow why am I doing this to myself?!

RetroHippy · 12/03/2014 22:20

I don't know about the rest of you but my head is all over the place. I tried to brush my teeth with hot water today. In the bathroom I've been using for over 5 years. I don't know what I'm doing half the time.

It's not even a symptom, it's been going on since we started ttc. The first month I convinced myself I was pg bloody IC tests and their evap lines, the day I went to get yet another a test I got back to my car and stood there for ages pressing the button and wondering why the door wouldn't open. I could hear it unlocking, just would not open.

It was the wrong car. Blush parked next to mine, ok, but not even the same model or colour!

Where have my brains gone?!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 12/03/2014 22:28

Retro that sounds do familiar, but I have to admit to having spent the last 16 years like it! Blush I've been know to drive home from the school run having forgotten a child, I often go to the post box without the post, I forget most things most of the time. I've walked up the road instead of down remembering where I parked my car the previous day. I think it's stress and ttc can be v stressful. Have you tried the reflexology? It's ever do relaxing and clears your mind.

PolytheneGirl · 12/03/2014 22:35

Retro = baby brain? SYMPTOM ALLERT

RetroHippy · 12/03/2014 22:36

MrsExtra, (ooh, you're now on my autocorrect if I type MrsE!) it sounds lovely but I'm very sensitive and hate to be touched/stoked unless I'm aroused. I have an automatic kick reflex if anyone touches my feet Grin.

The only thing that really seemed to sort out my brain muddles was two weeks all inclusive on a beach in Mexico!

RetroHippy · 12/03/2014 22:38

poly lalalalala I'm not listening
