Oh Linda how lovely to meet somebody as complicated as me! Grin It's a bit sucky isn't it!

Yes I think I might ask the pharmacist, hopefully they will have a clue.

lindamagoo · 11/03/2014 12:25

It's very sucky Hmm let me know what the pharmacist says, I'm curious now too

RetroHippy · 11/03/2014 12:32

missmrs, I'm not feeling too bad thanks, just knackered. Been up all night coughing again.

The doctor said it's not tonsillitis or bacterial, so he can't give me anti-biotics :( just said NightNurse before bed to help me sleep, which it did, for about an hour.

Going back in to work tomorrow as I've got a relatively quiet day, but dreading Thursday and Friday.

I've also got my day 21 blood test to have done, being 7dpo I'm going today, really hoping that if I go in Thursdah she'll tell me the results are irrelevant as I'm already pg!

I've invented a new game to make the 2ww more interesting. It's called 'Implantation or Imagjnation?'

Imagine Ant and Dec, flashy lights and a big screen onto which our 'symptoms' are projected:

Ant: So, missmrsmummy, this lady has had a headache every day for a week. What do you think?

Dec: Is it Implantation?

Ant: Or is it just her Imagination?

Hazelbrowneyes · 11/03/2014 12:36

Yes, I've got ICs missmrs

Ok...will pee in a cup for the first time this evening Grin

sazzlehopes · 11/03/2014 12:39

Retro LOL! Grin

missmrsmummy · 11/03/2014 12:48

Hahaha Retro I love your new game! Hmm, headache, I'd go imagination. Probably been using her brain too much to design the new nursery (in her head) and decide in baby names. Next!

Owlie84 · 11/03/2014 12:52

Retro, that's so funny! I can just imagine it! Grin

I'm on 4dpo I believe, and I've got quite a lot of watery cm when I go to the loo (sorry, TMI). is this a good sign? I've been tracking every month and I don't think I've had this much at this stage before??

Treaclepie19 · 11/03/2014 12:55

Heheh Retro, we need to tell Ant and Dec your idea!!! :p

2dpo today... Probably. Doesnt time go slowly...

RetroHippy · 11/03/2014 13:00

Ant and Dec together: missmrsmummy, that is the correct answer!

Ant: The headache had been caused by overthinking ttc and listening to small children shouting.

Dec: You win one pee stick to add to your stash.

Ant: Now for the next round...

Ant: This lady had slight spotting this morning.

Dec: Her AF usually arrives a week later than this like Niagara Falls.

Ant: So what do you think? Imagination?

Dec: Or Implantation?!

Treaclepie19 · 11/03/2014 13:03

Hehe, I'm going withhhh implantation?! :p Dare I?

missmrsmummy · 11/03/2014 13:13

I'm going with Dec - implantation!

Am I right?!

missmrsmummy · 11/03/2014 13:14

Owlie I've just had the same! But I think I had it last cycle too Sad

missmrsmummy · 11/03/2014 13:14

Treacle I knowwww! It's soooo long! Bah.

PunkyPod · 11/03/2014 13:16

MrsExtra DH takes multivits which have zinc in them. I read years ago that it helps the swimmers. And we got DD so quickly so he started again for this baby. Got preg very quickly again but lost it. Hoping this cycle is a better one.

hazel yeh i'd start opks tonight. i generally do them when i get home from work. and when i'm pretty sure ov is coming then i do it a couple of times a day to try and find the surge.

I defo have a headache from thinking about all this TTC so much!! My mum asked the other day whether there was any news yet (she knew when we started TTC) and i had to tell her about the MC. And then my dad mentioned something about it last night. A new baby is so wanted!

Have we got any more testers today? Would love to hear some more BFP news!

RetroHippy · 11/03/2014 14:03

Ant and Dec together: Wrong!

Ant: This month it was AF arriving early and in a totally different way than ever before! (Chirpy grin)

Dec: This lady's implantation symptoms are so similar to pms that when she gets pg next cycle she won't notice until she's 5 weeks!

Together: That's conception!

^^^^ that is what it feels like Hmm

Treaclepie19 · 11/03/2014 14:20

Haha oh Retro :(

It will all be worth it! I'm wishing the weeks away TTC...

RetroHippy · 11/03/2014 14:55

So far this 2ww has gone pretty quick. Being ill, house hunting and the fact that I ov'd two days earlier than expected have all helped.

This time next week... Fx!

lindamagoo · 11/03/2014 16:17

Hmmmm just been to chemist for venos and apparently they don't sell it anymore. What other cough medicine will I get?

mama31 · 11/03/2014 16:25

Great news on the FRER choccy! Congrats! :) I'm good thanks. Ovualtion approaching. No IC's purchased this month, going to try not testing...that's the plan anyway.

Hope everyone else is doing ok.

RetroHippy · 11/03/2014 16:33

linda, I used Benylin, but it does have other stuff in it as well as the magic ingredient. And now I've started looking for it, most pharmacies stock Robitussin behind the counter. It's a wee bit pricey but worth it if it works!

Good luck mama! I'd love to try the 'not obsessing' approach, but I'm just too much of a control freak! Are you just DTD eod to keep yourself 'filled'?

CagedMango · 11/03/2014 16:35

I've been following the SMEP plan this month, which says take Robitussin cough syrup (or anything that says expectorant). The active ingredient is guide stein, although avoid one with an antihistamine too as this will dry you up. Guaifensen acts to make your mucus membranes runnier [paraphrased]. I've been taking The Robitussin chesty cough and it seems to work pretty well.

CagedMango · 11/03/2014 16:37

Got caught by autocorrect-guide stein should say guaifenesin.

missmrsmummy · 11/03/2014 16:44

Retro do you get spotting pre-AF? My AF is due On 20th (I think, but then what do I know?!) but I usually get 3 days of spotting first so as you said, this time next week I might have a better idea!

RetroHippy · 11/03/2014 16:57

I don't usually, that was just an example from the many people on here mentioning it!

FF says AF is due on the 19th as I ov'd on the 4th. So that makes me 7dpo today. I'm still intending to test on the 20th/21st depending on when DH gets back from his trip. But if my temps stay high (looking like it might be a second rise from today) then I may be tempted to POAS before he leaves on Monday morning Grin.

Although he'd then be totally useless on his trip so not the best of ideas...

RetroHippy · 11/03/2014 16:59

Oh, and AF usually arrives rather abruptly. So I am crotch watching for any sign of spotting.
