The sun yesterday was a double edged sword! DH drank a little too much beer and couldn't 'perform' last night anyway, AAAGH!

DTD so much is really taking it's toll in our house too. Neither of us are particularly enjoying it. DH is being a saint and says that in order to get me upduffed we'll have to put up with it and just crack on. Just feels so forced. Before TTC we'd normally DTD 2-3 times a week so every bloody day is getting tiresome! But anything for a BFP!

English 2-3 times a week is good going. That's way more than we're used to! Really hoping we don't have to do another cycle of it!

I'm off work ill today. It's very strange, I can only remember one sick day ever! I'm usually healthy as an ox, the worst cold is always done in a few days but this sore throat seems to have transmogrified into what I suspect is tonsillitis. Being 6dpo I can't even attribute it to pg symptoms though obviously I will be lying on the sofa all day waiting for implantation

I do know that I don't have a temperature though - my chart is behaving impeccably this month . Does anyone know if you can have antibiotics if you're pregnant? or thrush medication as that's the inevitable outcome

2-3 times a week hasn't worked for us as yet, so uping the anti. But I'll be glad when it can go back to normal, un-forced sex.

Well i'm royally confused. My temp chart would indicate ovulation. CBFM still on high. I'm now wondering if fucked up by using 2 different packs of sticks over the last 2 weeks of using it. It says not to, but I read that after. Will just have to hold out, see what temps do and if the cbfm finally picks up a high. Will keep dtd regardless, but having a day off today.

missmrs, it's not my usual class. I'm p/t and cover other classes if they need if. It was a lovely class that I hadn't taught before and the teacher had left me a brilliant day. And I've only got a paper copy of the plans, so can't email it to supply and so have associated guilt. But seeing as I can't speak without coughing till I cry and nearly throw up, I think it's best all round if I stay home catching up with OBEM

retro - not sure about medicines, but pretty sure there's not much you can take.

Retro you poor thing! Tonsillitis is the pits! Early on in pg I got pneumonia. I was a single mum so run raged with my brood. The dr gave me the usual anti bios but it wouldn't shift. They couldn't do a chest X-ray and couldn't give steroids. So he put me on in his words "one of the most expensive antibiotics going and not to tell his partners at the practice". Don't know what it was but within 48 hrs I was miraculously better. I was less than 3 months so still in the fragile stage. Ds was unscathed.

I've also had thrush persistently it different points In My life. Throughout one entire pg and plagued me while ttc last time. It really is horrid. I even had referrals for persistence. But yes you can use the cream, 2% is better and the pessaries are fine. Don't take the oral pill though.

Lots of vitamin C for you and get some berrocca or floradix or metatone. Something to restore you.

My af didn't arrive yesterday but I know it's on it's way, got a bfn yesterday. It's so unfair when it's late and has you on edge and day dreaming even when you know you are not pregnant!!

MrsExtra, laughing here at the 'gold standard' anti-biotics! Make you a bit that we usually only get the cheapies.

I used to get thrush three times a year or so, but only had it a couple of times since I started using my mooncup, so I suspect tampons were to blame. It was also caused by being hot/damp/sweaty, so I inevitably get it on holiday.

The cream never seemed to do much, but I may have been a little impatient. I now just grab the oral tablet and don't bother with the cream. Natural yoghurt seems to work too, though it's a little messy to say the least!

.....I think I've broken my husband! Neither of us were really into it last night despite pulling outs the stops! Tbh I could easily manage dtd daily, but dh is really not at all bothered, never has been. I used to think all men were sex mad but reading this thread I'm understanding it's fairly normal. I then spent all night on fire, I'm baking!

CM kicked in on Saturday and Sunday but opks were negtive. I hope i get a positive today. We dtd last night and will for the next few nights. Would really like to get a morning sesh in if the opk is postive but i get worried about doing it too much in a short space of time. hmmm.... DH is a happy chappy at the moment. His drive is much higher than mine so he's always happy when we're ttc.

I even had a dream about successfully bf-ing last night. I bf DD for 8 weeks and then moved to ff for various reasons. Would really like to have a positive successful experience next time. Oh and i've been working on baby names with DH since we decided to start TTC#2. He point blank rejected the boys name despite my arguments about how awesome it is. This weekend he said he was coming round to the idea without any prompting from me. Eek! WANT A BFP!

Morning Ladies - seems I was off on the weekend and almost missed this bus!

Did a 5k charity walk yesterday so feel very positive and good about things - basel temp seems to have risen slightly so fingers crossed I've ovulated! If not then two more months of charting and off to the Doctors for me (unless any surprises in-between)

Wow you lot have been busy this weekend

Retro get well soon - I too used to be plagued by persistent thrush - also had referrals for it, so I know how horrid it can be. I had tonsillitis a couple of weeks ago and it really floored me.

Well CD9 here, had a flashing smiley yesterday and today so if it is the same as last month will be getting my fixed tomorrow. DTD yesterday evening and this morning. DH is out tonight but will be DTD as much as possible for the rest of the week! I think DH is really getting into this TTC lark as this morning I was shattered when my alarm went but he woke me up insisting we had to DtD as he is out tonight! LOL never thought Id see the day from the most relaxed man on the planet. I was 40 minutes late for work too.

We are away on holiday for 2 weeks on Friday so hoping we can just chill, relax and not think about the TWW. Im sure I wont be able to resist taking a peek on here though every so often to see what you are all up to and how those BFPs are coming along!

well on instructions from myy ttc guru my dhs baby mad aunt I did a frer this morn but it was a bfn. not that im surprised but still sucks. not due af till fri/sat anyway morning all! hope everyone enjoyed their weekend
