Right, I've decided to make a resolution to not do any early testing from now on. After reading about so many early mc/chems on here and remembering being told when I got my pre-missed af positive in hospital with DS that I shouldn't be surprised if I still got my af in a couple of days when it was due, I'm not sure how I'd cope with going through what some of you brave ladies seem to have dealt so well with. I just honestly couldn't take that kind of heartbreak.

So this is me declaring that I will no longer be poas until af is officially late.

My complete admiration goes out to all of you that have had to go through mcs and chems and have carried on. What brave, strong ladies you all are.

Me too poly. I'd rather not know. If AF is a day or two late, I'll test. Not before.

Its heartbreaking seeing people on here so excited and happy, then so worried and sad.

Notta. I have been in tears tonight just thinking about it. I can't put myself through it. I've read some horrifying statistics online as well. I have got myself worked up to the point where I'm going to be so worried when I do if I do get my bfp I'm not going to be able to enjoy it.

Allthequeens I am so so sorry, you must be feeling absolutely shattered to pieces right now. It will get better I promise. Take some time off the busses if you need, it totally helped me. It's great to talk to people also though. We are all here for support as well as to shout at. Good luck with trying again, you can get pregnant and it will happen for you. Lots of love and luck xx

Haven't tested again this morning yet.
Didn't go to bed til after 1, up for a wee at 4am, so am currently trying to hold it in. Dh has just got up (we are childless this morning, he must be mad! We had less sleep last night than when ds is here lol!)
Anyway, good news is PC world was shut last night so he needs to go today so I will go with him and nip into boots for some, ahem, 'make-up'

DH came home last night at about 9pm instead of this afternoon, and persuaded our friends to stay the night. Thus, no POAS has taken place in our house yet, although I will admit that I have PIAC and hidden it for when they leave and DH goes out. I only hope it is well enough hidden! Oh the things we do when ttc...

Allthequeens, I'm so sorry. I've been there and it is heartbreaking. Allow yourself time to heal. Cry if you want and make sure you and DH look after each other. We're if you need to rant. I really think these threads helped me. But like others have said, take a break if you need.
I sometimes feel that I need to step away, but I enjoy seeing everyone else's BFPs come in, knowing that eventually that'll be me too. Big hugs to you!!

Got my fixed smiley today but not feeling positivevas we last dtd on wednesday due to us both being out/at work/unwell :( will dtd today but probably missed it.

Friends gone now, dh in shower so test stick dipped.

Superdrug test. I have a faint, but clear, pink line. Not sure I believe it! Much clearer than lines from last two cycles with chems, but still faint. DH going out in about half an hour, when I am going to proceed to do numerous more tests. Need to go and get a frer I think, or give the digi that is hiding upstairs a go rather than trying more superdrug ones.

Is this true for ic opks? 'The line must be as dark as, or darker than the control line'?
