The alternative guide to getting pregnant

I thought we should have a thread for all the things that we hear/read about/have been successful in for trying to get pregnant. Not the heavy duty stuff but the things that we can try to pass the waiting time each month. I have tried temping and OPKs and now I want to try something a bit more lighthearted that might just tip the balance in my favour! I'll start off - both times I have become pregnant (1 ds, 1 mc) I have got drunk and eaten at the same restaurant just prior to the bding time. So I might well go back there this month just to see what the odds are! I have also started taking starflower oil too. Michael Douglas has been made to eat liver by his dear wife to increase his virility! It can be things for us girls or the boys! How about anyone else? Your stories???

Yep, we got a fertility doll from some lovely Balinese people on honeymoon. Thought it was a bit voodoo but by god it must have something! We won;t let it out of our bedroom and it has to be standing up all the time.

BTW, no I won;t be doing rentals!!

My brother and his wife want to get pregnant.. so I sent them some Glue Wine (mulled wine) .. yet to hear of any positive results to make it stick!!

We were in Tobago recently and had some odd homemade wine which the waitress said was an aphrodisiac and would make us have babies!

Believe it or not it really did work on the first front (but not the second!)

Both times I have conceived when VERY drunk!! And both times I've tested really early out of boredom rather than suspicion that I'm pg.....and been VERY SHOCKED when the blue line has appeared!

Inserting egg white up your fanny via a syringe is meant to be an excellent way of increasing fertile mucus. Yuk.

Also getting a negative pregnancy test then getting blind drunk is a good way of ensuring the next test will be positive therefore ensuring 8 months of worry and guilt ahead.

getting drunk, or having passionate sex, rather than with the intent of making babies. say, 'theres no way i'm having a baby' and 'forget' contraception accidently, worked for me both times.
