Over here...

Thanks for the kind soothing words val. I was fine this afternoon - cheerful even! Fingers crossed my strop was just confined to this morning!

tametortie · 02/04/2014 21:07

Nobeer- the 2ww is a mind fuck start to finish. Sympathies xxx

Bearsandhoney · 02/04/2014 22:15

No beer: 2ww buddy: am feeling your menkulling pain. Weird thing is I am not sure I even want to test (the finality of another BFN will be just too much). Just over a week to go now.

Turq: 2 days to go? Fingers, toes and everything else is crossed for you.

Tame: DE results at your clinic are so high, much much more favourable that the odds I have faced (well anyone who is in the position of needing De has faced) It does give a girl pause for thought...

I've eaten a load if chocs from a box my mum bought me at the weekend. And I mean loads Smile.

Res: hope the wait until AF passes quickly and this next cycle is the successful one for you.

Not much to report from me. It's my 40th on Saturday but don't have much planned. Going to keep it low key (can't drink and not really in the mood to go out and celebrate this year). Perhaps the following weekend I will feel more like celebrating (please, please, please universe!).

vallinnapod · 03/04/2014 09:42

Bears Happy Birthday for Saturday (I am useless and will foget by then Blush so early wishes!)

I am a day ahead of myself. I was convinced yesterday was Thursday....acupuncture for me tonight and then scan on Saturday. Thinking 'thick' thoughts. Am feeling quite tender so am hoping it is my lining growing rapidly Hmm Not really felt like this on my million previous cycles.

Doing better with the Clexane this time. Last time I managed to bruise the first 3 jabs which meant very little space was left for the rest! No bruises so far this time (which has probably jinxed me for a huge one tonight!)

starsandmoonandback · 03/04/2014 21:50

Thinking of you tomo bears x

Bearsandhoney · 03/04/2014 21:57

Quiet here today ...

Thanks for the birthday wishes vallinna. Unlike you i am gathering quite a collection of little bruises from the clexane, though i can't remember what bruises are from what. It's nice nice not having the bum bullets though!

Does anyone else get emotional on progesterone? I can't tell if its the emotion of the 2ww or whether I should put it down to progesterone but am feeling a bit teary Hmm

And is it just me or is literally every other woman in the street sporting a baby bump. I live in London, and feel that they are every where i turn...I guess it's always like this but I am just noticing more. I often wonder how easily these women have gotten pregnant (and although it stands to reason that not all of them will have had effortless conceptions, in my mind they are). Anyway, I hope that we all reach our goal and join them.

Turq: I hope you get your BFP tomorrow. Xx

Waves to no beer, res, tame stars and anyone else i've missed.

Turquoisetamborine · 03/04/2014 22:56

Hi girls, I'm going to try to sleep now but just wanted to say thank you to you all for your support over the last few weeks. I've had pink spotting today so I think it's all over but I will still go for my test tomorrow xx

starsandmoonandback · 03/04/2014 23:32

Sorry I meant Turq, beats not there quite yet! Oops!

Turq, pink spotting may be implantation rather than anything else. I keeping fingers crossed for you.

Bears. There's always millions if baby bumps around when you least want them. I always feel sad yet hopeful when I see them. Hope it's you soon xx

nobeer · 03/04/2014 23:44

ouch val!

turq I've truly got everything crossed for you. Hope spotting is the good kind.

hi bears sorry you're feeling teary. I'm ok but not on a massive dose of progesterone. We got detailed results of the pgd tests on the embryos. Some of them were described as "chaotic"! Scary! Anyway, the "normal" ones are back in the freezer so we've got 3 more chances if this one doesn't work. I'm not sure how I'm feeling tbh. Up and down I suppose. last time I think I was more down, so hope this is a good sign. Still got another week to go, so early days yet. I'm contemplating doing a hpt from Monday but not sure I dare!

waves to stars, tame, res, beetle, cups and any lurkers.

Everything crossed for you Turq

resipsa · 04/04/2014 09:07

Turq - good luck and thinking of you.

OP posts:
starsandmoonandback · 04/04/2014 09:52

How are you Turq? X

Turquoisetamborine · 04/04/2014 12:33

Negative. So sad.

starsandmoonandback · 04/04/2014 12:53

Oh Turq. I'm so sorry. There are no words, but please know we understand how shit a bfn is. We are here if you need us. Sorry it's not better news hun xx

tametortie · 04/04/2014 12:54

I'm sorry turquoise xxx

It's an awful empty feeling- a loss that cannot be quantified because nobody quite sees the potential of those little embryos like you do.

Take some time to feel all the emotions- shock anger and despair then dust yourself off xx

Lots of love x

Turquoisetamborine · 04/04/2014 12:56

How long does your period normally take to come? I'm absolutely furious with my clinic. They have totally managed me wrongly all along. I was only scanned once during down regging and twice during stimming. It should have been abandoned when they saw I only had two follicles.

I think I'll try short protocol next time.

Turquoisetamborine · 04/04/2014 12:57

My sister in law has just texted me a photo of her 12 week scan. I hate her.

nobeer · 04/04/2014 13:06

I'm truly sorry turq. Did your sil know you're doing IVF? I hope not, and it was just an unfortunate coincidence. As for AF coming I think it depends on the individual.
Take care, and above all be kind to yourself. We're if you need a rant. xx

tametortie · 04/04/2014 13:32

That is such shit timing Sad

What clinic are you with turquoise? Best thing I ever did was move clinic, get a fresh pair of eyes to look over things. There are lots of protocols etc.

tametortie · 04/04/2014 13:33

My af arrived beautifully early for every cycle apart from the cancelled one- took 57 days to show up x

starsandmoonandback · 04/04/2014 13:43

Oh god. Just to add salt to your wound Hmm Hope your sil was unaware and not being completely insensitive! My af usually shows up 1-2 days after stopping the progesterone bullets. I agree that if you're not happy with your clinic you should move. But perhaps think about that when you're feeling less raw about things. Hugs xx

tametortie · 04/04/2014 14:19

You don't have to even move clinics- just have a consultation somewhere else and go back to your old clinic armed with new info and ideas. And if they don't listen, then move.

X

Bearsandhoney · 04/04/2014 14:51

So sorry Turq. It's horrible feeling. Sending you hugs (for what it's worth) and you are in my thoughts. Just echoing others by saying I hope your Sil didn't realise how insensitive she was being. Take some time out and having a consultation with another clinic could be a good idea to get another perspective. Xx
